BTW if anyone is really hurting right now as an artist right now struggling due to Covid but is making face masks or merch or has there own shop or something please let and I will try and advertise someone once a week on here times are really tough right now. You don't need to tell me your story I just think featuring a shop would be a good way of helping out the community right now. Just note the group that's all you need to do please do not note my personal account.

here!
I'm going to be doing an update soon and feature any art that needs featuring in the faves. And do another featured artists for December. I was also asked to maybe update or change the group mascot when I joined originally. So I will be doing that as well. I've got some idea's but the original was defiantly very awesome so there are some things I defiantly want to keep. I have got a few gifts for IRL people I have to do before xmas but I am hoping to have it done sometime next month!

Hope everyone is having a great 2018 so far. I've been super busy with a new job but things have calmed down now. I'm also no longer taking commissions so I should have way more time for this group. Someone asked for a featured artist list. I don't know about commissioning but I had a quick look through and found some good artists that do a lot of Pastel style art. I'm sorry if your not on the list I only had a quick look through and looked for people who do the most Pastel style work.
So here's some awesome pastel artists to check out!

Indroducing the new Group Leader!
General | Posted 10 years agoHey all! My names Cinnamama, but I am known as Cin for short! After a brief discussion with the lovely 
it has been decided that I will be the new group leader.
What does this mean? Well basically not a huge amount will change. The only difference is the group will be more active. And I may be creating a new mascot. CandyCorpse made this fantastic group and is a really awesome artist, even though I am now the guild owner I will still be somewhat working with her! And this will always be her group as far as I am concerned. Though obviously she's dropped owner ship to make time for other things.
But yeah if anyone has any questions feel free to ask me! I am very friendly! I will be doing artist spotlight at least once a month! So please keep an eye out you may be featured or might find an epic Pastelfur to watch!
If you would like artwork uploaded in the main Gallery with credits please do not hesitate to message me here or my personal account!

Group picture? Anyone interested and also looking for artist
General | Posted 10 years agoHello everyone! It's been a little while. I hope you are all doing well. I thought it was best to wait a little bit before getting into the group picture. This gave the group a little more time to grow as before we are a lot smaller. Now hopefully there will be more interest!
So we are looking first of all to see if any one is interested in being in the picture. Your fursona/character doesn't have to necessarily designed with pastel goth in mind but everyone will be dressed in pastel goth type clothing. This isn't free as i highly doubt an artist would be up for doing it for free. So there would be some kind of fee, how much has yet to be determined as we haven't decided on an artist. But we will be trying to keep the price affordable.
ARTIST! So. I could easily do it candycorpse (main account, look at my art and junk there) but i would like to give other artist a chance to get in on this too. I think people who actually want to be in the picture and can afford to can all vote among the artist that are interested in doing it. Assuming we get some interested. Way back when this was first brought up there was some interest. So we will see. Artist keep in mind you would be drawing anywhere from 5-10+ people. I don't think it will be much better then that. I'm thinking like waist up, flat colour type thing. If you are an artist interested in maybe doing it, comment on this journal and please give an estimate on how much it would be per person.
PEOPLE THAT WANT TO BE IN THE PICTURE: i want to get a feel for how many people are interested so i know if this is even worth trying to organize or not. Since there isnt much point if no one wants in it right? so if you like the idea comment below with that.

As many groups do i think we should have a mascot! I will be designing this one however further down the line when the group has had more time to grow I may open it up as a contest for a secondary mascot, a male counter part to the female one i am making. I had a few ideas for prices, but we handle that when we cross that bridge.

General | Posted 11 years agoAfter a bit of a wait for registration to be open finally we are up and running! I am currently setting up the group and getting things in order (like making us an icon!) so bear with me as i get everything set up. You can start submitting and sending me art for the group if you wish.

Give the group awatch and add us onto your profile, journal header or footer. Where ever you prefer to put your groups is fine as long as its some where!"
"Can I submit a character/art?"
Yes of course! Send the me a note with the image in mind to submit it to the group.
"Is 'adult content' allowed when submitting art?"
Pastel goth (and other related styles) can involve cute and creepy things such as blood and gore. So these things are of course allowed! Artistic nudity is also allowed, but sexual scenes/porn will not be accepted.
"Will there be any contest/things i can participate in?"
Hopefully yes in the future there will be contest. In terms of prizes I'm aren't really sure at this point, but I will do my best to make sure its something awesome. In the future there may also be things like secret Santa, group pictures, and things like that to watch out for.
I will add to this as i find necessary!
