What's in a name? Kitsune tend to gather names and there is power in one's true name...but lets just stick with Patches.

2. Do you know why you were named that?
I was given that nickname because I have two patches of black fur, one over the eye and the other is um...hidden

Delightfully single

Normal kitsune powers, illussions, mimicry, shapeshifting and forest/plant based elemental powers. I also studied some ninjitsu so I know a few tricks like clone, substitution and so forth.

Yeah there are quite a few kitsune and foxes running about but I like to think I'm a bit unique in my own way

One is a sky blue, the other a jade green

Silver when I feel like it, shapeshifting is helpful for this sort of thing

Ok so I finally got my copy of Destiny, and I'm really enjoying it! I didn't really like Halo but I'm enjoying my time with this game as a warlock. I'm feeling a bit inspired as of late and I would like to try and get some commissions done, bills are as always looming over head and I could use some help. Anyone who read my previous journal should have heard about the situation I was in...ending up homeless for a few days and doing a mad rush to find somewhere to go before all my money ran out. Thanks to some true kindness from some friends of mine, and my loving boyfriend we made it through alright. We are set up in a new apartment, it's a bit small but cozy and kind of nice and it's all ours.

I'm broke but we have a place and things are set up, I'll be posting art again fairly soon now that I have internet and power going. I apologize to everyone I owe art to...I know I am way way behind on everything! I will be working on art as much as I can and trying to catch up. When we last left our hero....

Two of my rats passed away, due to violence and the threat of worse, my Boyfriend and I have left our apartment and are trying to find a new apartment or at least a place to crash in or around Winter Park or Orlando Florida for a few days. So far we've had poor luck and both of us have very bad credit so the chances are looking pretty slim that we will be able to find anything and we really don't want to deal with room mates again.

Obviously art is on hold while I'm homeless, I've got some money to afford a motel room for a few days (and use the wifi) but this won't last long and I'm getting worried about what to do. Any apartment we look at, if they check our credit then we will instantly get refused and the application fees are kind of draining us as well.

My hooded rat Coffee just passed away. I've had her for a few years now and she was always a sweet heart of a rat. I honestly don't know what happen to her...she seemed fine the other day and when I went to the cage to say goodnight she was laying still at the bottom of the cage with Spaz (her cage mate) licking the top of her head as if trying to wake her up. Coffee was laying on her side at the bottom of the cage, eyes mostly closed and her tongue sticking out the side of her mouth. I didn't see any wounds, her teeth were ok (bottom teeth were a little long). I really hope the dog food didn't hurt her, they seemed to like it more then the actual rat food. I put the pellet/cube type food in there and they barely ever touched them but they eat the dog food pretty eagerly and I've been giving it to them for at least a year now.

Spaz has some sores/dry skin or something on her...I'm not sure what they are. We had a flea infestation a while back but she didn't seem aggressive to Coffee so I don't think she hurt her. Just to add to the night, Spaz just bit me on the toe pretty hard and then nipped my finger...I AM NOT NOMS!

Now I have to try and figure out if I want to get another large female rat to try and put in with Spaz, or leave her by herself

[UPDATE]

Spaz has passed away some time today. I'm not sure what exactly caused her death, I fear she had mites and she scratched herself but I don't know if these caused her death or if it was age. Spaz was a sweet rat with a great personality and she will be missed. Valentine my male rat seems to be fine (he lives in his own cage). I will clean out and sanitize the cage in fear that something inside the cage caused the deaths but I even use the better bedding (non woodchips)

So I have this problem every year...what to wear for Halloween?! Well in this case it's not so much me as much as what do you think my characters should dress up as? Costumes can be anything from slutty to adorable but try to be creative!

Make suggestions of what characters (Eve, Patches, Lucky or anyone else) should wear, like for example:
"Patches should dress up as a clown"
It's just that easy. Now try to remember the character's personality when you make your suggestions so they can go with the personality or go completely against it. I will draw what I think are the best costumes for each character and try to have some fun with this. Also, if you agree with someone's suggestion and really want to see that one, just reply to their comment with "^this" or something like it. I'll be leaving this journal up for a while and drawing characters when I get a really good suggestion and some time. You CAN suggest another costume for a character I've already drawn (because more costumes means more candy)

I was wondering about maybe trying to do YCH auctions, perhaps giving some folks a chance to be naughty with certain fembois or girls of mine? Or possibly doing cheap stream commissions in pencil (traditional media not digital)? Would anyone be interested in an 'art slave' thing? You would bid and get ownership for say a month or two. This would guarantee a certain amount of art work like x amount of pencil or y amount of colored images and exclusive rights so I would only be working on your stuff and no other commissions? I'd like to raise a bit more money this month and any feed back would be welcome.

Got any other ideas/suggestions?

Some wise old guy once said "Any fool can be given advice, but only the truly wise profit from it" (or something like that) I have been trying to improve my art work and looking at work from a year ago I've seen some improvement but I would like to continue to grow and improve. In order to improve, I need to know what needs to be practiced...in other words I need some critique. So I'm going to ask those watching me (or who just stumbled across my gallery) to offer me some help.

Those who post within the rules will be entered to win free art from me. I don't know how many people I will be drawing but I will be entering a person's name into the drawing once for every 2 points they earn. You earn one point for each critique point up to five (no points for repeats) and you get one point for properly replying in this journal.

Ok so I've been getting ideas to draw but been hitting a wall so I'm going to draw something I know: bondage! Since I just want to draw more I might as well offer some free art to folks!

How it works...
I will be drawing random 'volunteers' who post in this journal with a reference link and one random fact about the character. I'm going to open up 15 slots for art commissions (almost) any theme or scene. I am going to be offering my standard pencil, ink, color and now rough color. Hopefully this will be a simple chance to raise some money to try and save up for a nice tablet someday.

Commissions are first come first serve, you can have up to 5 slots with one small change. You can take three slots at first but you then have to wait 24 hours before you can get any more, this is so everyone has a chance to get a commission if they want one.

Payment is paypal ( thomas_epley[at]yahoo.com ) simply because it's the easiest way for me to get payment and keep track of everything. I prefer payment upfront but it is not required until after the sketch is approved for detailing and such.

The prices went up a little bit due to the time/effort it takes for the art work and because this is supposed to be a way to make money so it has to be at least a little profitable as far as time/effort and pay goes. Sketch and/or line art is available upon request to the person ordering the commission. A high quality version of your commission can be sent via e-mail upon request, the original can be mailed to the commissioner for a small $5 charge (to cover shipping/handling).

So I picked up the new Animal Crossing game (I've never played the first one) and I'm kind of having fun, I'm just wondering what exactly I'm supposed to be doing. Having a bit of fun running about exploring and picking up random things (and getting stung by bees) but I'm not sure if there is something I'm supposed to actually be doing though I don't even have my house built yet!

So part of "Paint Orlando Red" is doing a Marriage Equality rally at Lake Eola (downtown Orlando) with my boyfriend Jessie to show our support for gay marriage. I know he kind of wants to marry me pretty much as soon as it's legal *blush* Not sure how early we'll get down there but I'll probably be tweeting at the event. Hopefully it will be a cool event and we can lol at any protestors if they show up.

I've never actually been to something like this, any suggestions for things to bring? Things to do? Things to watch out for? I blame my generation (we tend to think more liberally then our parents I think) but it just seems ignorant that some people think letting two guys get married is going to hurt their marriage...because two men who love each other and want to get married is going to damn your straight marriage.
