I'm a duMB

So I make my digital art using my iPad, because my computer just stopped working and Itll take a while to save up for a new one

And my iPad has been acting up for quite a while

It has this glitch thing like a 'phantom touch" basically its a problem with the screen I think and it just thinks I'm touching it when I'm not, it happens at least once everytime I try to draw, it deletes layers, messes with the layout, draws random lines and dots, moves the canvas around etc

I've been dealing with it because it usually goes away for a few hours after its flipped out once or twice and then I can finish my art

But it's started to flip out more lately, more aggressively too and I don't know what to do..

Just now I've been trying to work on a drawing for a few hours but every time I've tried its flipped out and I really just want to cry

This is the only way I can make art right now.
I can't afford paints, clay, sketchbooks or really friggin anything

And art has been helping me a lot lately, it's been a good way to distract myself from the stress of...everything..
And if this keeps up I won't be able to
1: make art for you guys..i don't want to disappear again
2: distract myself. I don't want my depression to get worse again, it's only been good because I've had my distractions

I just don't know what to do and I'm going to cry I just need advice and help or I don't know I'm just panicking

well, im scared of the ocean....but I loVE IT I love it so much, being near the ocean just makes me happy💕 but swimming in it is a bit scary to me ;_;

Oh, in non stress related news,,,,I finally have an idea for a proper persona....button and phobia were my sonas but I never felt like they were me as a whole, so I treated them more like characters and they didn't really act or seem like ME (because their personalities are technically based on two sides of me and gosh you can not be half of yourself all the time oof)
And I've also never really enjoyed just drawing....myself? It felt weird idk


So ya,,,,button and phobia are no longer my fur/personas...uh...I guess they are half sonas, lol

I'm really sorry if art is slow
My mental state is just so fucked up

About an hour or so ago we (me and my mother) got our dog (Pinto) put down

Yesterday when I came home pinto had lost the ability to move his back legs and couldn't even stand, we tried to help him get back up but it just wasn't going to happen.
this morning my mum and I decided to get him put down, so we called the vet and got him in.

It's so sad to see him go, we've had him since I was little,, but i am happy that he's not in pain anymore

then...there's an extra kick in the gut when they take all the money we have
$400 for everything

My mum just works for tips at a bar and the only income I get is from commissions Because it's impossible to find a damn job in this city

We're planning on selling the house and getting an apartment so we can save more money


I just don't know what to do

I feel so useless and I just want to cry again

I used to sculpt with clay, used to take commissions for em. I stopped when I got hit with a wave of depression™ and then when I started to recover I had no money for clay,,,I still kinda don't but,,,
if I knew that people may be interested in my clay work again then I'd buy some as an investment,,,,and it wouldn't feel like a big waste of money hahah

Now this time around I would definitely purchase some higher quality clay, paint, and clay tools,,,and since I'm taking art more seriously now I'd probably....work a little harder on them too, hahah


Prices for any type of sculpt i made have never exceeded $25 so the general price range would be $5-$25 for now

(But you'd also have to pay shipping, which shouldn't be too much)

So uh ya, please let me know your thoughts on this! If I should get back into sculpting, if you'd perhaps be interested in commissioning me for one etc

My life is a mess

On top of all the money issues, all the health issues, everything.

My brother decides to be a dick.

My mental state is very damaged right now

My brother constantly yells, I'm terrified of yelling
My brother is always angry, I'm scared of anger
My brother yells at me and my (our) mother

I'm just very distressed

So my childhood dog is on his last legs
He is 15 years old and was supposed to be put down 9 months ago.
We still saw life in him and we even saw another vet who thought the same
But now uh
He's gotten a lot worse
It was a great 9 months but we can't keep him around just to keep us happy, he can barely eat or go to the bathroom so sadly it's time to say goodbye


But the world can't even do that for us
We don't have enough money to get him put down

Basically, my mum was forced to quit her job by an abusive boyfriend
He's the type of person to hold their wealth over people's heads to keep them with him
He has screwed my family out of money many times back when my mum used to work for him.
He was pretty much our lifeline and the other day he just up and left.
We've had a flood, and we're dealing with all of that while also taking care of our 15 y/o dog who requires,,,,a lot of care and nobody in this household has a job now...I've been looking but so far, nothing.

So uh,,,,ya,,,,idk,,,I'm sorry if this seems weird. We're just kind of desperate
We need to pay bills.
