My other accounts while FA’s weird (+ Chapter Incoming!)
Posted 4 months agoSo yeah, since things here are still getting fixed, I might as well post the occasional reminder that I have a BlueSky, a SoFurry and Weasyl on top of a FurAffinity account.
BlueSky: https://bsky.app/profile/patrigue.bsky.social
SoFurry: https://patrigue.sofurry.com/
Weasyl: https://www.weasyl.com/~patrigue
Hopefully, this fixes itself soon, because I just finished the first draft of the next chapter of my current story Getting Lucky. I just sent it to my proofreaders so once they get back to me and the artist finishes the complementary art that’ll go with it, I’ll be posting it. At over 9k words, it’ll be my longest upload so far, and I can assure that it’ll contain plenty of the kinky, exhibitionist hijinx that I typically include in my stories.
Until next time,
Pat

Posted 6 months agoActually, I did this weeks ago, but I never mentioned it here.
Yeah, for reasons I don't really feel like going into, I'm no longer on Twitter. So, if you're on the app and wondering where I went, I left.
That being said, you'll still find me here and on my other socials. Also, one last reminder you can find me on BlueSky at https://bsky.app/profile/patrigue.bsky.social
That's all.

Know any artists that do FA banner commissions?
Posted a year agoPretty much what it says in the title.
I’ve been considering the idea of commissioning a banner for my FA profile. I've tried cropping some of my commissioned pieces to fit, but nothing really fit. I don’t see a lot of artists doing banner comms, so I figured I’d ask around.

In case worse comes to worst... (where else to find me)
Posted a year agoI've heard a bit of scuttlebutt about what's going to happen to FA now that Dragoneer is gone. Some people are saying that everyone should back up their artwork in case anything happens.
To be truthful, I don't think anything is going to happen. This site's been going strong for almost twenty years and I wouldn't be surprised if it lasted another twenty more.
Still, I understand the caution. So I might as well take the moment to highlight my other socials in case worse comes to worst.

RIP Dragoneer
Posted a year agoI'm sure most of you have already heard about what happened with Dragoneer, the site's owner. It's genuinely fucked up what happened to him, especially in regards to the American health care system failing him, but that's a rant for another day.
It hurts knowing the creator of my favorite site has passed away, but I know he's not gone, not fully. He still has his legacy here on FurAffinity. I mean, this site is practically the Mecca of the furry fandom. He's brought together so many like-minded users, given artists a platform to promote their work, and created a space where people all over the world can form friendships that last a lifetime.
Without FurAffinity, I never would've met the friends I have, or created the stories I've written, or commissioned the artists whose work I fell in love with. Even if FA falls apart with him gone, I and hundreds of thousands of furries will remember how important this site was to all of us.
RIP, Dragoneer.

Update: BlueSky, FurPocalypse, and NaNoWriMo
Posted 2 years agoBeen a while since I posted a journal and I have a bunch of info to share.
First off, I have a BlueSky now!
Had it for a while, and so far, not bad. I'm still in the process of (very slowly) uploading all my commissions, but I'm getting there. Hopefully, I'll see you all there. Depending on how many invite codes I get, I might raffle away some away in the future. We'll see!
Secondly, I will be attending FurPocalypse 2023!
After having so much fun at my first full weekend furry convention back in May at Nomadicon, I knew I couldn't let it be my last. So, a few friends and I will be heading up to Connecticut to have a graveyard smash at FurPoc. Given that I'll be running into both new and familiar faces, I already know I'm gonna have a hell of a time! Perhaps you'll see me there!
Finally, after FurPoc, I'll be attempting NaNoWriMo!
For those unaware, NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month, and it's a challenge that happens every November that encourages aspiring writers to buckle down and get working on that novel idea they've had tucked in the back of their minds for as long as they can remember. This'll be my first time attempting it. Normally, the goal is 50,000 words, but given my work schedule, I'll be content with just hitting 10k. I already have a few stories waiting on comms, but other than that, I'm gonna be focusing my writing efforts on my NaNoWriMo story, so forgive me if I don't post too often (he says as if he doesn't already post only about once every month and a half).
Anyway, that's all I have to say for now.
Have a good night and stay naked, my friends!

Posted 3 years ago"Hey Pat, didn't you make a post like this a few months ago?"
Yes, I did. That was about a different friend. The friend this time is
neko-eclipse17, although you may know her better as GlimmyGlam on their other accounts.
A while back, she teamed up with the fantastic artist
APinkGrape and created a Patreon for her characters and their stories, most of which contain a ton of ENF and exhibitionism, just like my own stories. Right now, their currently working on her comic "Uncover the Truth" where her main character, Steph, discovers her love for public nudity. They also have polls for monthly art and are working on forming a Q&A with all Glimmy's characters.
You can check out their Patreon here: https://www.patreon.com/glimmyglam
Don't feel like shelving out money? That's fair. But you can still check out their FA account for the low, low price of FREE!

500 Followers on Twitter! + Character Q&A Announcement
Posted 3 years agoHey everyone! So if the title wasn't clear enough, I just reached 500 followers on Twitter!
Kind of snuck up on me, to be honest. Didn't have time to prepare anything. So I decided I'm going to ask for your help in order to celebrate.
Very much in the style of Kadath's "Ask Puz n' Pals" and Zummeng/Viktria's "Patreon Q&A" series, I'm going to give you all the chance to reach out to my characters and ask them your most pressing questions in a limited Q&A series. I'll be accepting questions for the next week (ending after March 7th), and of those questions, I'll pick my 5 favorite, which will then be answered in the form of a commission piece of art, drawn by
Ultilix
Some general ground rules for asking:
1) Make sure you specify which character or characters you question is directed to. I won't know how to answer the question if I don't know who it's directed towards.
2) You can ask as many questions as you want, but please try to keep them contained to only 1 or 2 comments.
3) Don't spam the same question over and over. It will not increase your chances of getting picked. It will only irritate me.
Other things of note:
Again, take note that I will only be choosing FIVE questions. As much as I'd love to do more, I'm paying for an artist to help me with this and I'm not made of money. Also, because the artist is working with me alongside working on their own commission queue, I can't say for certain how long it'll take for them to complete. That being said they will be published as soon as their done and in the meantime, I ask you to be patient and not harass me or the artist.
Okay, with all that out of the way, leave your question or questions below in the comments (or as a reply to the designated tweet here) and we'll see what happens.

I'm gonna be on a video podcast!!!
Posted 3 years agoSo for those who might not know,
Frist recently rebooted his "Pic of the Week" video podcast with
The-Minuscule-Task and
FlyerMiles. On it, they invites other artists and commissioners to join him on stream and look at various pieces of of furry art released over the past week. We highlight each piece's strength and critique each piece's flaws, until we narrow down which one is worthy of the title of Pic of the Week!
And Frist was gracious enough to invite me to be a guest host on this week's episode! I've never been on a podcast or a livestream before, so I'm kind of nervous, but at the same time incredibly excited.
You can check it out live this Sunday at around 2pm EST on his Picarto: https://picarto.tv/fristart
Don't know what to expect? You can check out last Sunday's episode which had
stokerbramwell of
nakedpenny fame here: https://twitter.com/FristART/status.....96492944031745
Hope to see some of you there!

Posted 3 years agoSo I've been actively writing stories on FurAffinity for about 3-4 years now. And one of the main reasons I've improved as a writer is
wellifimust a.k.a. Marcus Heckinberry.
He's also a writer with a taste for public fun. He started with a focus on public nudity and humiliation, but eventually branched off into
exhibitionism and other kinks, as well as a dramatic chapter series he's been working on as well.
I began talking to him back in 2020, and eventually asked him be one of my to proofreaders, to which he politely agreed. I was constantly blown away by how much helpful input he would give me for each and every one of my first drafts. He has consistently made my stories better with his constructive criticism.
I can honestly say, without a shadow of a doubt, that Marcus Heckinberry a better writer than me by a mile, which is why it irks me that (at the time of posting this journal) he has less than 300 watchers. His work deserves waaaaaaaaaay more love than that.
This month, he started a Patreon. He's offering lewd monthly stories and articles to help aspiring writers improve their craft. He has a bunch of great stories in the works and has already posted an incredibly lewd fanfic about Nick Wilde working the customers at a strip club (of which you can read a teaser excerpt of right here).
If you're willing to put some money toward a great writer, then I urge you to subscribe to his Patreon, and if you can't for whatever reason, then follow him right here on FA and check out his gallery. I can assure if you like my stories, then you'll love his.

Probably should have brought this up sooner...
Posted 4 years agoGiven that the last thing I posted was 3 months ago, I figured a bit of a general life update was long overdue.
The truth is I was really trying to buckle down and actually get to work on the last chapters of A Prelude to Perversion. That's right. Two more chapters. After keeping myself distracted with commission-themed short stories, I was ready to tackle what I though was the final chapter, but I ended up writing enough in the rough draft for a second final chapter.
Things were going pretty good until April started. On April 5th, I tested positive for the coronavirus. Fortunately, both my parents were already vaccinated and I had received my first Pfizer shot a week prior. Nonetheless, I went into quarantine and only got to see my parents whenever they brought me hot food and vitamins. I confided in a few people about my situation at the time, but this is the first time I'm addressing it publicly. I had a bunch of common cold symptoms (fever, headache, back pain, runny nose, chills, etc.) but I was lucky I didn't have anything more severe than that.
Thankfully, two weeks later, all of my major symptoms had subsided and I was able to return to work and get my second shot as well. However, during the two-week period, I didn't get any writing done and I'm still trying to get back into the swing of things after sitting on it for so long. I can't give an exact timeframe of when the chapters will be done, but they are very much in progress. It's been over a year since the last chapter so believe me, I want these done and published just as much as you do.
In more positive news, I'm going to have my work featured on the Voice of Dog podcast. Specifically, Khaki, the host, is going to be reading my "Getting Naked at Gunnison" two-parter. He's already recorded the podcast. Now it's just a matter of scheduling, since there are other authors and their amazing stories ahead of me in the upload queue. I'll likely post another journal when it goes live. Big shout out to Khaki for accepting my submission.
Also, my 29th birthday (or hatch day as some of y'all avians call it) is two days from now on the 13th. Now I only have one year left before I'm old! The horror! (Kidding! Apologies to all the greymuzzles out there.) Anyway, I'm gonna have a nice socially-distanced barbeque over the weekend with my parents and a few friends who're also fully vaccinated.
Anyway, that's all I have to say for now. Until next time, stay safe everyone.

General Life Update (Covid-19, Twitter, April Fools, etc....
Posted 5 years agoOkay, so... where to start?
Well, I should start off I'm doing okay considering everything. Considering how close I live to NYC, the coronavirus hitting my area pretty badly. Fortunately, neither me nor any of my family are showing symptoms and we're doing our best to self-isolate.
That being said, the company I work for makes machines that go mostly to medical and pharmaceutical manufacturers, meaning we're considered an essential business and I still have to leave for work five days a week. I know I shouldn't complain about still having a job considering how unemployment is skyrocketing right now, but I can't help but worry about getting the virus and unknowingly passing to my parents. For what it worth, our supervisor has issued strict social distancing policies in the workplace and we're doing everything we can to flatten the curve.
I hope everyone reading this is doing okay as well. Whether you're doing essential work, working from home, or just chilling, waiting for your government stimulus check, we're gonna be in this together for the long haul, so don't give up hope.
Also, on a sidenote, I know it's April Fools Day and pranks are bound to come about, but for the love of God, DO NOT JOKE ABOUT HAVING THE CORONAVIRUS!!! There's nothing wrong with having a dark sense of humor, but joking about the virus while it's still out there ruining lives is kind of problematic at the very least. I read once that the best pranks "confuse rather than abuse" and as someone who been bullied, I take that to heart.
You shouldn't expect anything from me in terms of pranks or jokes today. Of course, that's exactly what someone would say if they were going to pull a prank, but I'm being serious. I was planning on writing the joke chapter for "A Prelude to Perversion" but between real life and all the other short stories I was working on, it didn't come to fruition. In it, right before Perci takes Pat's virginity, she asks him for about tree-fiddy and Pat realizes she's actually the Loch Ness Monster. Funny shit!
Hopefully, I can make it up to with some of the art I have waiting in the wings. I just won a YCH by the talented
foxovh that'll feature Perci, so I'm currently writing something for that when they finish it. The exquisitely exhibitionistic
furfragged gifted me with a few sketches of Patrigue doing what he does best (streaking), so I'll be sure to upload them once I've written something for them as well. And finally, I have two milestone-themed pieces from the always lovely
WingedWilly, both featuring all three of my characters. One will be posted whenever I reach 500 watchers here on FA, and the other will be posted whenever I reach 200 followers on Twitter. I'm only 5 followers away from 200, so I'd suggest that you follow me there if you don't already, which you can do here

Anyway, that's all I have to say for today. I'm getting by, and hopefully so are you.
Stay naked my friends,

Happy Holidays! + APTP Chapter 6 Update + Plans for NYE
Posted 5 years agoMerry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone out there!
May you have the best celebration you can.
I promised you all I'd get it out before the end of the year and I damn well intend on sticking to my word. I handed it off to my proofreaders yesterday and I'm just waiting for their feedback. Probably won't come until after Christmas though, since it's a busy time of the year for most of us.
Jesus Tap-dancing Christ, it's been a while. This is officially the longest gap between chapters. Fortunately, I intend to keep it that way. See, As I was buckling down on this chapter, I realized I was writing so much that it was actually enough for two chapters. So I decided to split it and make it two.
This means that while I'm still putting the finishing touches on this chapter, I already have about 50-65% of the next chapter done. Hopefully, this means less of a delay for the next one. This is one one things get a bit in depth~
As for New Years, I am once again going to the New Year's Furry Ball in Delaware. I'm bringing a friend with me to his very first furry event and I hope he has the time of his life. I know I will. Maybe I'll see some of you there.

Patch notes for A Prelude to Perversion Chapters 1-5
Posted 6 years ago- The character David, who is originally namedropped as Andrew in chapter 1, is now named Andrew for continuity
- Capitalized the 'S' in all instances of the word 'Siamese' in Chapters 4 and 5
- Fixed the shower scene in Chapter 3 where Patrigue refers to a handjob as 'simulation' when if should be 'stimulation'
- Several instances across all chapters of missing short words such as 'or,' 'and,' and 'to.'
It's been a while since I looked at the previous chapters, and I wanted to reread them for maintaining continuity in Chapter 6. It turns out that I am not as good of a proofreader as I thought I was. These are all the mistakes I found looking back at them and I'll probably find more, but I decided to fix them now and share what I found.
As for Chapter 6, I promise I'm working on it and that it'll be out before the year ends. If I'm lucky I might even get Chapter 7 out before then as well (no promises).

So... I just realized something.
Posted 6 years agoI never gave Perci a last name!
And now that I think about it, I'm not really sure what to use for her surname. I was thinking maybe something Italian (because the IRL person of which I based her off is Jewish-Italian) or German (because like in the Oktoberfest story, she really is fluent in German), but there are so many surnames to choose from.
So I'm opening myself up to suggestions. What do you guys think her last name should be?
Mind you, these are only suggestions I'm asking for. I can't promise that one of the names you give me will be her original last name. That being said, I'm nonetheless interested in what you all will come up with.
