Fantastic Storytelling, Visuals and Worldbuilding.
Great Decision to have Inventory and Weapon upgrades like in RE4

The start up to the first Boss including the whole Castle Trip felt amazing, big Lady is a fun character.
Second Boss was also nice, but it felt waaay to short and had barely any combat.
But the Tension and scary parts were good
Third Boss was rather boring with slow Platforming
Fourth Boss and the entire Area of his was amazing again, i really loved the Enemies and the "Dungeon" there

RE8 answered a lot of Lore Questions for me so i could finally puzzle together all the Games so far.
8,5/10, as i said the weakest point was really just the third Boss for me.


My overall Review about Resident Evil as a franchise is very very positive
Super fun Games, i like that some have a feeling as if you play a Zelda Game with Dungeons, just with Guns and Zombies and Stuff
Can't wait to see RE9 and got already an idea what it could be about :3

What an amazing Game, in the first half i thought:
"Oh please not another Chasing thing" but it was rather short and manageable, not annoying and permanent

Bosses were really fun, i do enjoy the first Person Perspective.
Unlike in RE4 and RE5, you couldn't upgrade your Weapons, but that was fine it worked non the less.
The second half of the Game was SO FUCKIN GOOD.

I LOVED the whole Ship thing, that hits my Spot soooo much
Loved the Athmosphere, it was nearly as good as the Mansion Part in the First Game
And the Ending was just soo good

RE7 is so far clearly my favorite of all the Games
RE4 would have been my favorite otherwise, but RE7 just hit a Spot with the Tension and the last half of the Game
Highly recommend to play it, it was amazing

I'd say 7/10 for Resident Evil 5
It was quite enjoyable but i wouldn't categorize it with the other Games really.
Felt VERY memeish, almost like a parody with the whole Indiana Jones Temple thing and punching a Boulder lmao

I do like that it dropped some more Lore, but overall i would have seen it more as like a Handheld Title then a Main Title
Overall feels like a Game i could have skipped, it missed a lot of this tension feeling the other Games had and felt most of the time rather ridiculous.
Had some fun areas, the Flamethrower Boss is buggy on PC it seems, had to use the Oneshot weapon for that

The bossfights in this Game were soooo fuckin good
It all started to build up with the battle when Nemesis turned feral and the final fight was just the perfect ending

Usually i'm not really enjoying bosses that come back, but this Game does it perfectly
I think besides for metroid i didnt had so much fun with fighting the same boss but different versions of him
Also enjoyed that we went to the police station from Resident Evil 2 again (but differently).

I hate being chased in Games, but this Game did it extremely well.
While RE2 Chasing was more annoying (confined spaces and during times i wanted to collect items)
RE3 did it mostly as an escape Sequence (besides for the part at the beginning) and at some point it ended up with actually fighting him instead of running.

Love the credit Song and Carlos is a hottie :P
The only thing that got kinda annoying is to deal with Enemies if you're out of ammo (the Game kinda misses to tell you how to counter and stuff)
Maps felt a bit shorter then in the previous Games, which is a bit sad i like exploring :3
The Game has no New Game+, but you can obtain Coins to buy things from the Shop for new Runs (Infinite Ammo Weapons, Inventory Slots etc.)

I'd give the Game 9,3/10 Points

Honestly absofuckinlutely amazing Game.
The Athmosphere was on point (again), Leon and Claire are both amazing Characters.
I like the System in which you were creating your own Ammo and how you were unlocking more Inventory over optional sidetracking.
On one side it's a bit stressfull with limited ammo / breaking knifes, but on my second playtrough as claire it surely had a nice touch for a survival situation.

Highly recommend to play it, you don't need any pre-knowledge (just like i did not know much about it either)
Really looking forward to the next Game in the Series after a short Break.

I didn't like the big chasing Guy, but there is a mod to get rid of him
(I cannot deal with chasing sequences, they just stress me rather then be scary or challenging)

I've never played that game besides for a memory i have as a kid of that zombie that scared me shitless.

I'm a bit annoyed about the 6 Slot Inventory not gonna lie, they really could have changed that xD
