I'm so goddamn tired.

Life has taken its turn more into the deep end. Luckily I have friends that
get me out of my head. I've been taking pills as of late just to sleep. Pills
and drinks, to be exact. Painkillers and sleeping pills with alcohol seems to
be a decent mix.

Pressure with life has bogged me down and it's given me retrospect. In time
I'll explain everything.

The trials I've undergone through life and the tribulations it caused is still ongoing.
So if you're willing, sit down, come read.

Not that anyone cares to read these things.

As the entry says, I'm on semi-hiatus. Things are pretty heavy and I'm pretty strained
on time and patience. I'll draw here and there, if you have my personal contact info, feel
free to hit me up.

But know I might not answer right away or at all.

I'm doing this for me and my own personal needs. Things are pretty dark and it's gonna stay
like that for a while.

Personal life
Oh boy, where to begin. Life has been super rough
the past week and I'm still working out some issues.
However, in lighter news, I moved out into an
apartment with my fiance and am looking into getting a job!

Art Stuff
If you didn't know (which you shouldn't unless you know
me personally), I had really crappy internet. This was
because of where I lived. Buuut, due to getting an
apartment much closer to civilization, I'll have better
internet connection. This means I'll be streaming my
art now and then (and games!).

Happy New Years! I hope y'all had a wonderful holiday. But without further adieu, let's get started.

Art Stuff

Yes, if you follow me on deviantart, I'm totally using this format again. I digress. I've decided
that I'm going to start uploading on a single day of the week. This day will be Friday at 7PM PST.
The reason for this is because I want to push out more content and don't want to feel like I have
to upload every single day; though I may draw everyday, there's no pressure to upload said drawing.

Fur Days

I actually downloaded Paint Tool Sai 2, and although in beta, I've been enjoying using the tools
to make my comic. As time progresses, I'll gradually get better with the comic, but keep an eye
out for page 7, as it is done and now just needs to be uploaded.

Issue One is based on not only introducing characters, but it also involves a massive gang
war between the Rats (Rat King) and Crows (King Crow). Both sides are notorious for bringing
about the currency known as Shinies and also laundering it. Since it was introduced, the Rats
have held a monopoly on it. How will bringing an end to this gang war come about? And who's
brave enough to get in-between. Maybe not even brave, who's stupid enough (foreshadowing ~~~~)
to do so?

Personal Life

I'm busy, k? But in all seriousness. I'm backlogged in my physical projects (Christmas Sculptures,
bathbombs), and I need to jump on that. Otherwise, I've been okay. Not good, not bad, just
kind of in this limbo. My Christmas went super well, I got stuff for painting, a cute shirt, and two
books (BOOKS, I love books). The New Year isn't something we typically celebrate, but we did drink
a bit. That's pretty much all to say here.

General Overview

So, if you didn't know, my commissions are PWYW (Pay what you want). I figured I'd go over why it is and my advances to making a career out of art. So...If you're willing to read on, here's my general thoughts of things.

Why PWYW?

: I feel like I'm not experienced enough to have a set price on my works. I would like the person who commissions me to pay based on how satisfied they are with my work. This helps me gauge my worth as an artist. I DO want to become an illustrator, and I feel like this is the step in the right direction.

Let's say right now I get around $10 ~ $20 per commission, as opposed to someone who is good enough to have set prices. The moment my customer is satisfied enough to go over that unset price, I would be able to reflect and see what I did to make this costumer pay more.

Gaining Value via views and comments

: I'm not going to lie, this greatly affects my mood to draw. I have watchers, but they're seemingly inactive. This discourages me to draw. I know what you're thinking "That stuff takes time." and I know it does. The little amount of viewers I have as it is however don't comment nor fave usually. As you can imagine, after dumping hours of work on my projects, no one responding deters me. It allows me to see my view count and whether my content is interesting or not. This is only what I infer, mind you. This may not even be completely true, as I haven't produced as much content.

Working to satisfy the costumer

: If you HAVE commissioned me before (I'm not sure if any of the people who commissioned me actually watch me) - rather... if you have commissioned me RECENTLY, you'll find that I'm courteous and allow you to look at the illustration I'm providing you step by step. This means: Clean sketch, lineart, color, background, lighting/shading. I do this as a small critique, this IS after all being paid for; it is to look acceptable for the costumer whom bought my services.

I don't just do this to cater to the commissioner, I do this too to practice being more professional in my work and more devoted to making a piece that's deemed 'satisfying' to the viewer.

Thoughts Right Now

: I know I'm going to get there, with hard work and commitment. I'm not saying you absolutely need to commission me (albeit they're open all the time) but rather, if you can comment, favorite, and share, it would show how you value my art.

My goal for the future is to become an Illustrator. It's a competitive market, but as opposed to becoming a graphic designer, there's a lot more leeway for that competition. Graphic designers make tons of content, hundreds of things a day if they're employed. Whereas a freelance Illustrator will draw all day, but does not have to come up with tons of designs; they work at their own pace. Their end goal is to show off their art, a graphic designer's end goal is to see how their design affects the creation of what they're working for, with a lot of content they don't show the public.

This is why I want the commentary, the feedback, the sharing. It would make me feel closer to my goal, and the miniature goals I have in place.
