Art Stuff
So lately I've been considering exactly what I want to do with the works I make. This has gotten me into a sort of rote. I've become popular in a sense where people watch me for the pony stuff. At the same time, however, it's discouraging to be watched by so many people and get so little favorites, yet alone comments. I'd very much like more attention for the several hours (or even days) I put into works.

So like...

To change the mood of things, I've gotten a streaming account on picarto.tv and am hoping to be able to stream on certain days. Comment which days you'd think you'd be able to make it, including times. There'll be stream exclusive goodies for those who attend (gift art, discounted commissions, ych's, auctions, and PWYW). I'd like to have you around to just...generally get to know me.

Commissions
It is with heavy heart that I must cancel my commissions I already have unless you don't mind waiting several months. I've hit an emotional snag and think it's time to focus on what I want to draw for a while. Commissions will be closed until further notice, however... I did promise two people that I was offering PWYW commissions. That said, you two will be on a special list whenever my commissions are open, so you may still pay what you'd like (I owe you that much)

Personal Life

I'm sure you haven't noticed unless you contact me personally, but I have been gone for several days. A close friend of mine decided he'd like to vacation and tour stuff here in Oregon, so happily, Matthew and I were his guides on this expedition. Oregon is a gorgeous place, and I'm sure he has had tons of fun here! However, I've been feeling a bit glum, which leads to the conclusion of me cancelling my commissions for now and, I quote:

I'll feel better when I've had some time to think and recover, right now I have to deal with my own personal issues. I don't wish for anyone to worry - this'll be good for me to think of what I really want to do and get crackin' on it.

Geez, first off, I really have to shake off the rust and get my creative mind restored to its formal glory! That being said, I will be doing the drawing a day challenge that I have done twice now. It will start exactly at June 1st to the 30th. I'm actually pretty stoked about seeing what wonders will await upon doing this challenge like I've done before. In all honesty, I really want to pull in active watchers (if you are an active watcher, comment! I'd love it if you do).

Fur-Days

Fur Days is currently on hold while I figure some stuff out. Tweaking has been done from the initial project, and even though I said I wouldn't touch the first page I've already redid twice... I'm going to indeed rework it. XD

Personal Life

In all honesty? I've been figuring out some things about myself. It's not bad, but it's not good either; I've just been evaluating myself and finally addressing detrimental problems. My psyche hasn't really been the same, but every bit of hope I have keeps me going. I may seem tired and out of energy, but please! I beg of you not to worry. I'm working things out with healthy outcomes and am continuing to learn more about myself to better myself.

If any of you watchers knew me from Trickster as Raenue, Jewelia server and leader of a once prestigious guild that went downhill...I remember what I used to say, every single time I would log off for the rest of the day. I remember how down I'd be and not wanting to share my feelings and thoughts. I remember how I fell into shambles and neglected what was such an amazing guild.

And now, I'll share these words forever now, to instill the encouraging girl I was prior to these scars I hold.

Paylette here, telling you a bit more about myself. I haven't typed an actual journal here yet, so I probably should. The way it works is that I give a simple introduction then break down what I'm going to say in sections. So without further or due, sit back, relax, and enjoy the read.

Art Stuffs

I like to start off segments like this, talking about my works and my future stuff. I have at least 3 more drawings on the way including one that will be done with a speedpaint (for those who know what it is, I'm super excited for it to be done and uploaded). And am currently picking up sculpting and other life skills that might come in handy. Needless to say, commissions are always open and I will be changing my commission price sheets whenever I get the chance. Note me if you're interested!

Fur-Days

*gasp* only actually knows about this! For those of you who has never seen me before or even talked to me, I guess I should tell ya! I'm working on getting a comic started called Fur Days. It'll be a fictional fantasy, romance genre which will have comedic aspects and a slice of life. It's currently ONLY in the process of making. An exact launch date is iffy o.e.

Alas you get into my rambles about things in my personal life that is currently going on. I like to do this segment because it allows you (my viewers) to get a grasp of who the person behind the art is. I'll tell you a little about me for an introduction. I'm Layla and I'm 19. I'd like to go by my screen name <-- and if you haven't seen, this is my loving mate. I had moved in with him for about half a year now, and I couldn't be any happier. actually draw anything...BUT I'd really like for you (those who're confident or not
at all confident with their art) to join in on the fun!

Sooo.... Really awesome news and really bad news...

Bad news is that I won't be able to finish all of my drawings
in time for Christmas because I'll be gone from the
Dec 23rd to Jan 2nd and I'll certainly be really tired
upon returning home.

Good news! I'm going to Tokyo, which is why I won't be
able to complete my work. However, did you notice my
pause in artwork? That is because I've made improvements
to my art once more and when I DO finish your gifts, they

I'm so excited, guys! :3

Within 21 days, I shall be 19.
I know it's nothing really to get
excited over, and usually I don't
get excited because it's way
too darn close to Thanks Giving.

But that was with the neglect
of my family, who didn't wish
to celebrate it, and even forgot
how old I was on 3 separate
occasions and still treated me
like crap.

That isn't the important part
though...

This year is the first time I'm

miles away from home.

With my future in-laws.
