I have officially went ten days without video games! I thought it was tomorrow, but I counted my days wrong. XD

Good new: I have went a week already without any video games! Only three more days left until my project is finished!

But mainly, I wanted to dedicated this journal to  Shouden. He is currently homeless and jobless and is feeling really down. If you took the time to read this, please keep him in your thoughts and prayers, maybe send him an encouraging shout or two.

Starting Sunday I will see if I can go for 10 days without video games. I have to do it for a psychology project and because my roommate said that I couldn't go a week without video games. So think I can succeed or not? XD Today I have to make rewards and punishments, so here's the punishment and reward:

Reward: For every day that I go without video games, I will buy x amounts of pizzas with my cafe cash (in-school currency).

Punishment: For every day I go playing a singe video game, I will go out with my roommate and spend my own money for x amount of days.

By the way, my roommate has to go a week without spending in response for this challenge he made to me. So it's not that one sided. XD

I got back from FWA and had a blast! I stayed at  Bacent's place and we went Friday and Saturday. I played Jenga for two hours (and got three fursuiters to play with us), played a tournament of a card game I've never played before and almost won, got some badges and commissions, watched a guy drive a big wheel down a spiral driveway in the parking lot ( frizzlewolf was the one on the big wheel), hugged some fursuiters, played Marvel vs. Capcom 3, saw a fursuit parade and rock band tournament, and met many people. Overall, it was a blast! Can drain your money quite fast though if you're not careful. I'm pretty much broke after that trip. X_x But I still had fun at least. :3

In other news, I have Pokemon Black! But I gave the DS back to my sister so now I don't have anything to play it on. XD But I've already gotten all 8 badges in about a week so I got through most of the game already. So I've fallen back to the Pokemon fad now and playing Pokemon Online to make up for my lack of DS. Honestly though, making a team of all new Pokemon isn't that great. They have good synergy if you combine them with the previous generation. Lots of new team combinations you can make. My best team I've made on Pokemon online still is Team Farfetchibird. It's the best! :D

Just a quick question, do you have/has had a role model in your life? If so, who was it and did they inspire you to do whatever it is you wanted to do?

And I had tons of fun! It was all planned by  frizzlewolf and  TheDK. It was at Columbia and we ate at Wild Wings then went to Frankie's where we played laser tag and go-karts. Laser tag was a free-for-all so everything was sorta chaotic and I didn't drive fast because I was afraid my go-kart was going to flip over. It was so shaky and every time it hit a bump, I would hear the bottom of the kart bump into the ground.  frizzlewolf won a bunch of tickets and gave it to a little kid who was with his family and that kid was so excited. And then after that I played DDR and did quite badly, but another guy went after me who wasn't part of the group and he dominated that game. After that though, I had to leave because I was carpooling with others and they didn't want to drive too late. Overall, it was a whole lot of fun and I enjoyed it. Hopefully I can see everyone again at the meet later on in the future. :3

Hope everyone is ready to say bye to 2010 and hello to 2011! It's hard to believe that it's already a new year and second semester of college is coming up. Ah well, time to prepare for the new year before it happens!

1. Actually achieve a resolution.
2. All A's in all my classes.
3. Stop slacking and start working!
4. Try and get a job so I can have some income.
5. Be more active on FA and get my bluh bluh icon list taken care of.
6. Try not to spend so much time on the computer and not stay up too late everyday.
7. Waking up on time for classes.

Hello everyone! Hope you are enjoying your holidays! Right now I finally have internet connection, but only temporarily though. I'm in Miami, Florida and I probably won't be back home until January 4th. I didn't get much for presents this year, but that's ok. I hope everyone else got what they wanted. And I apologize for any late replies as I did not have the internet for a long long time. But I wish everyone a good and joyful holiday and an awesome New Year!

Time to start digging my grave now. X_x Honestly, I think I failed almost all my exams except my piano jury. But I need to step it up next semester. This semester I slacked too much! Gotta keep my determination up.

Hello everyone! How have you all been? For me, college gives me quite the workload, but I'll survive (for now). I hope everyone had a great and happy Halloween! :D This is just a random journal for my pitiful attempt of being more active on FA and my lack of scanner. I just wanted to ask everyone who reads this, "How did you or what inspired your fursona to be the way he/she is now?"

Warning, rambling mode: For me, Larc and Leif came from a story I originally had in my head but never wrote it out (well, the first two chapters have been written, but they're pretty poorly written out). The story was about the ancient myths told in another perspective (I'm a big mythology nerd). In Norse mythology, Fenrir gets a sword stabbed through the bottom of his muzzle, so I added an X-shaped scar to remind him of what happened to him. But Larc was based off of Fenrir in my story (Fenrir is going to look different now so he won't look like Larc if I ever decide to re-write the story). I made the spear as Larc's main weapon choice because in the story, Fenrir looks up to Odin and wants to be just like him while he was living with Tyr. So he wanted to use a spear as his weapon. His name comes from one of the characters in Legend of Mana who was named Larc and he was my favorite character. So I named my fursona Larc after him and I gave him the last name Wildfang.

Leif was based of the Teumessian Fox, not a very famous monster in Greek mythology. The Teumessian Fox was sent by Dionysus to Thebes to punish them for some crime that had been committed. The fox could never be caught until Amphitryon came up with the idea of sending the dog Laelaps, who was said to be able to catch anything. Zeus found out that this created a paradox and turned both Laelaps and the Teumessian Fox into stone. In the story, he wonders why people pick on him for being a "monster." He has a pendent given to him by his mother that prevents him from being captured. Dionysus will appear to him and teach him how to fight while persuading him into attacking Thebes. As he begins to be chased by Laelaps, he is driven to the ends of the earth where he finds a portal leading to where Fenrir lies. I gave him the name Leif because I always liked that name and his middle name creates a pun for my last name so it sounds like "Leif Swift Win."

Anyways, that's how my fursonas came to be. My story also included Asterion (aka the Minotaur) and Horus. But anyways, how did you guys create your fursona? I am just curious how other people came up with species, design, and names. :3

And in other news,  Bacent 's mother is in the hospital for a low white blood cell count due to chemotherapy, so if you actually took the time to read this journal, please keep his mother in your prayers and in mind. I would really appreciate it if you do.

So what are ya'll gonna be for Halloween? :D I think we're gonna have little kids come over and trick-or-treat in our dorm building, but I hope we can keep whatever is left over. I don't really have a real costume of anything per se (Or however it's spelled), but it will do. :3

Oh how much I love fall break. College is fun, but classes suck. Not entirely sure how I am gonna spend this week off, hopefully it will be quite relaxing. :3

Went to Anime Weekend Atlanta with my friend  Bacent and I had a blast. I need to remind myself to watch my money though next time I go to another convention because I used up quite a lot of money. But I got my first badge ever for both my fursonas and I think I saw  DT-Fox in the game room and he probably was the one that beat me too. Anyways, it was a ton of fun and hopefully I can save up for FWA and see if I can go there.

I'm in college now, roommate is awesome. Any fur attending Winthrop University give me a shout! :D Anyways, gonna continue working on bluh bluh icons now that I'm settled.

I'm gonna move to Winthrop on the 20th so gonna focus on getting ready. Still working on bluh bluh icons, so if you're on the list, don't think I forgot. So excited, I can't wait. X3

There's a fun little battle simulator called Shoddy Battle where you can make your own team of Pokemon and try it out against others. Most legendary pokemon are banned though, due to having super high stats and are overpowered. It's fun if you're the competitive type or you just like battling with pokemon.
