I feel like drawing some really cute crap.
Posted 16 years agohey guys I'm sick with what could either be a tiny flu or a really dickish cold.
so what do I want to do with my free time off from work (two whole fever-filled days yay :c)? why draw cute crap of course. Here is the catch: I was gonna try for some serious business commissions but I haven't got the permanent prices sorted all the way out yet. so at this moment for a measly $7.00 (the cost of a bottle of NyQuil, or a box of tea and a bag of peppermints!) I will draw any character YOU specify dripping with diabetic levels of cuteness as a nifty little colored sketch (like the ones I do for trades and such). It can be your character or a friend's (gifts are fun kids!) and it will be guaranteed to look all chibi and squishy and cutesy=poo and other disgusting baby words.
watchman and other comic book characters are welcome as it seems I have become a whore to my nerdiness. finally.
limited a time offer kids, first come first serve 5 spots.
also, first one in gets TWO characters for the price of one!

I've decided to officially start taking commissions seeing as money is getting super tight (old dog needs more frequent vet visits, little sister desperately wants to go on school trip, house is all fucked up and needs serious business repairs, BILLS).
Basically I figure why just draw stupid doodles all day when I could be drawing stupid doodles for monies all day?
so I got myself a paypal.
but how do I use the darn thing? I have no idea how to even link people to it if they want to pay me for things and it seems the commissions page for this site is down so I can't get any hints from there.
also prices.
I was thinking:
a colored sketch (like the ones I do for trades) of one character would be set at about $10, 2 characters for $15, 3 characters for $20 (all characters would have to be in the same pic by the way, separate pics would cost separate monies).
plain old black and white super simple sketches of one character would be $5, 2 for $6, 3 for $7.
serious business colored up fancy arts would be $20 for one character, $25 for 2, and $30 for 3.
traditional would probably cost like a dollar or so more than digital because I would have to roll down to the ole post office so you can have your arts. also more time. they do tend to come out looking better than my digital though.
so what do you think? too low? too high? and where do I put my stupid link (what do I link to?) I'm asking over here because it seems the artists on this site do pretty well commission wise and are also super friendly and helpful despite the dog butts.
In the meantime I'm just gonna be over here drawing terrible watchmen fanart and driving all my watchers away.

oh and just a reminder, I don't really like to draw the hardcore pornos guys. I will draw nudes or even dicks at times (even though those are usually for the lulz) but I'm not very good at drawing serious sexytimes. not very good at all.

blue dicks. Dan!butt. Adrian's gay porn folder. all the older super heros look fabulous. Amazing beginning scene and epic Rorschach. in fact most acting was epic.

I just wanted you guys to know because these things are a little hit and run and some people keep missing out because I usually post the notices at really crappy times.

Posted 16 years agolately I've been pretty bad at art. I don't know what it is (maybe the stress and the crap at work and the poorness and WHATEVER) but I just can't get drawin' and all my Christmas presents have turned into fail in a pail (I have no money you see, I must make them all).
I trashed the things.
Back to the drawing board.
also I've been thinking a lot about the stuff I draw. Sometimes I have doubts, like 'is this too weird?' 'is this too boring?' 'is this the kind of weird that's done so often that it's boring?' I sometimes feel bad that I'm posting stuff that people on my watchlist would think is lame.

And I need a new job. But the economy where I live is horrible and I'm lucky to have this crappy one. Oh well.

Posted 17 years agosoooooo...I've been gone for a little while as I prepared for AWA. It was pretty cool having a table, the chicks beside me were awesome (LONG LIVE JOKO! ABOMINATION TO END ALL ABOMINATIONS!) I stayed away from the internets on account of being dead tired all the time. Getting stranded in Georgia because of the horrible gas shortage and having to go to work for a million hours after didn't help. be ready for one million uploads throughout the day as it is the first day I've had off since the con.
