Just giving a small what's going on and all that jazz~!

Been working and adjusting to life in the EU mostly. I have been getting a little back into Final Fantasy XIV, but honestly it has been less nowadays since my work zaps so much of my energy which is why I am so slow to respond at times I am so sorry for those who were chatting with me. I hope it makes sense that I either get very distracted with life or I feel pretty anchored down that I can hardly lift the finger to type with certain mental struggles. I won't get into details, but know it is never your fault ^_^

Also! I have a cat now! First time ever owning one, sorta just happened! Rescued a cat from the streets one evening, bought temporary supplies until I found the owner which I was happy and also heartbroken since he was such a dear. A couple days later, a pet shop owner (I talked to them beforehand and went to visit) told me that there was a recently collected cat that needed a home. Rough background, lived on the streets and passed around homes but mega sweet. I said yes to taking him, even though maybe I should have focused on my own living I just felt like I needed a companion here.

He is a sweetheart indeed, a little meowy at times but mostly just chills out and naps if he isn't having crazy zooms during playtime. He loves to cuddle, doesn't have much of a personal space so I can mess with him lots haha.

He is a bit of a special need, specific food since he has issues with bladder and his digestive tract. I am seeing a vet next week but unfortunately this means I cannot really buy art too often these days. So if you wish to collab, sadly I can only offer writing or it must be a raincheck until I can save up some funds. Same goes with the lottery but that is my first priority for art

Surprised you didn't I? Sorry about that, my cute muffins! I just wanted everyone to know that Leila's name will be changing to Calypsa Caelus with any new art while updating any other art as well.

I am not selling or giving her away, I really cherish my character so much but the thing is Leila isn't really much of a more "uncommon" name and personally I want her to be a bit more unique in that regard. Also, the last name "Valnain" is a city in Final Fantasy so if I use her in future projects I'd prefer to keep it disconnected from other things as much as possible. So anyway, don't be surprised if her name is different! She is still the same strawberry bun we all know!

I ended up sick again! First it was RSV, now its the Flu. At least it isn't as bad as the previous sickness believe it or not. Hope everyone else has been keeping safe and cozy for these chilly winter days~!

I hope I can finally become more active soon, but I do have some upcoming plans. First off, I will be making a large movement in my life! I will be heading into Europe to stay with family as I hunt for a new job and my own place so if there's any European friends here, give me a shout! Woo! Of course those not in Europe will still be dear to me too!

Also in the middle of getting two art pieces done to celebrate the winter times. I'm always looking for collabs whether in art or writing by the by! I've been pretty absent these days so if anyone wants to poke me a message saying hello feel free! I may be slow to reply since I am recovering AND prepping but it would be a wonderful holiday present

When I am not so swamped and have some time/help, thinking about making a discord server for casual RP using a light mechanic system I made! Might be fun to try out for adventures using Leila and any who wish to join.

Good evening all you sugary comets! I am sure you have all noticed I have suddenly been very quiet and even vanished from Furaffinity, Discord, Telegram, etc. While I did end up getting into some busy work, for the past 8-9 days I came down with a terrible illness that absolutely exhausted me.

EVERYTHING was painful and tiring to do from eating simple foods to just getting up. Anything that wasn't necessary was placed on shelf until I reached recovery mode (which is pretty much going to be tomorrow as I'll be asleep soon). No, it was NOT COVID I made sure to test twice. But I'm unsure if it ended up being the flu or a case of pneumonia since I was having such a hard time with my coughing and breathing.

Anyway, I shall be posting the lottery result soon (check my Twitter to see who won if you're excited) while I hopefully can get back to saying hello to friends new and old! I can't do any upcoming collabs until I'm back to recovering from medical supplies and lack of working but stay tuned later ^_^ I'm so happy to finally hear from you all again. Sweet dreams!

I wanted to make this journal because I've been having quite a lot of messages collecting up the past few days. Many are wondering where I am and I'm still here! Just been very quiet. I will return around August 4th-6th while silently working on ych stories for those who are waiting on them. My apologies for all of this! Warning: further on will be a venting post so feel free to skip the next section.

Europe has been quite the experience and I will always treasure my time here for the summer. However, I will admit I did not expect such a culture shock to hit me. I wasn't really raised well and was forced to be independent at a young age. Because of that, my extended family (my relative married into) has been quite harsh and strict upon my lack of knowledge. There are many things I have done wrong, and I accepted it. But to be called names and yelled at has...well it's certainly changes my mood.

I'm sure those who I've talken to noticed. How my introvertness has grown along with my shyness. It also just doesn't help that I suffer from ADD so it's very difficult to keep focused and very easy to become overwhelmed especially since I couldn't take my medication with me. I'm actually quite homesick now and while I'd still love to live here someday...I hope I either am on my own or I have company happy to be around me.

So, I have decided to scrounge up the rest of my money and basically "run away". Heading off to stay at a cheap hotel for as long as I can to have some alone time before my flight back home. I just can't really take it anymore. Thank you everyone for being such lovely company to me, and I'm very sorry I'm unable to talk much. Even just one reply feels like trying to write a whole novel at this point. I'll be back very soon!

Some of you may have noticed how I have bee hosting YCH auctions on my gallery these days. I am actually working with a couple of artists in a partnership where they will create sketches for me to post, involving my OC and a slot for anyone to bid on with minimal requirements! I think so far this has been going splendidly as I am able to assist artists in funding while also given the opportunity to write more should it reach an AB. It's been a lovely project so far!
