I have not been drawing at all since May. It is a really sad state of affairs.
I could also really use the extra funds as some expensive things are happening in my life right now. (Everyone's got them times.)

But this is mostly to get some motivation....

Hey everybody.

Its been a while since I've updated and I just feel like rambling a bit. Haha;;

I recently attended ACEN Artist Alley (First ever AA) It was a bit of a drive from where I live. It was an interesting experience to say the least. I am grateful of the artists I got to meet and hang out with while there. Also it made me draw more than I have done in the past who knows how long (2 years???). You can see what prints I had here if anyone is interested. Lots of nice people stopped by I was really happy.

On that note, I still want to do a complete overhaul on how I draw. I want to experiment more with style, but I get overwhelmed by wanting to change so much that I end up just not doing anything at all LOL. I really want to play with some design ideas but I am completely barren of those too. I get really self conscious I guess about it being too overplayed or boring. Too terrified to even bother thinking of a species, but they seem so fun to make (especially traits, features, and STORY). I really need to get into gear! I do more complaining then actually trying to solve the problem, and that is a very bad bad bad habit which I am trying to rid of.

Anyway, out of curiosity is there any of my old designs or things that anyone still likes or would be interested in seeing revamped?


Also on a side note, since my last update was about my cat, Scooby...He is well and has become quitea rambunctious punk!

Hi, Getting all settled in now. Most of my furniture is set. So I adopted a kitty to keep me company!

He's oodles of fun, 10 weeks old, and his name was Scooby when I adopted him. I decided to keep the name.


I just wanted to ask all you cat owners about a current issue he's experiencing. When I adopted him he was having sneezing fits in his kennel. When I asked the adoption coordinator about it, she said it was just the dust as advised by her vet.

But since he's come here the sneezing hasn't stopped. It's occasional, and spread out. He gets boogies too. :C And his eyes water. I wonder if its allergies, or because the new apartment has dust or something.

I first suspected upper respiratory, but she said that wasn't the case. He sniffles when he sniffs, its obv his nose is clogged.

Thinking about taking him to the vet even though its only been 3 days.

Thanks for all the advice guys! I took him to the vet anyway, as he is required to have his first vet check-up within 5 days of adoption.

It turns out he did have an Upper Respiratory Infection. We caught it before it got bad, but he is very congested and was running a slight fever. They gave me some antibiotics and a decongestant and he should be A+ soon!

Hey! I haven't forgotten about those that noted me about customs. Work approaches so fast and these 10 hour shifts lately all I seem to do is work and sleep! Lol. Going to try my best to recontact the interested parties (if still interested) this weekend maybe. Busy Busy Busy!

I've started my new job, and loving it.I'm finally in the right place for my career.

Although I may be busy, I have travel plans to see my best buds this summer! So I need to save the extra funds. That being said, I'm planning to have another auction of something I have been off and on doodling the past week.

Additionally, I am going to open customs/designs commissions as well soon. Possibly tonight or tomorrow. I would like to come up with another "species" idea beforehand...Although there is not much in my gallery to go off (lol), would you like to see any particular species based off of my previous work? Or what traits would you prefer to see me work with more?

Since I'm slow along with being busy I'll probably only have 3 slots at a time. So if you are interested please stick around or send me a note!!

Phew back from Otakon. It was my first time there. It was even bigger than I expected and more stressful than I wanted. xD orz Just an unpleasant weekend, a lot of plans fell through, my sewing machine broke, and long 10 hour drives, and ended with my card being stolen and used. In the midst of it all I did get hired for a job. I am tired tired tired.

I finally have some small inspiration to try doing some adopts, and I will be trying to livestream them anyone is interested. Perhaps in an hour or two?

Then I will open up a few slots for customs or chibis maybe. Who knows? I'm such a flake, its embarrassing! I keep poofing orz.

...From this rusty person? Ahhhh~ I feel a little rusty in the design department. I feel like I repeat myself a bit too much, but I guess everyone has their own recurring motifs in their designs. Like I love horns, capes, bows, and poofy shorts. Lol.

Anyway, my pen tablet broke and the replacement is 70 dollars(As of now I only want to raise 30 or so...). So I am going to try and scan these sketches on paper and see if I can color them(very slowly...) with the mouse. I am terrible at coming up with a sort of species/base so I've made them all varied. I'm also considering if people don't like the color scheme as much as they like the design, that maybe I can charge like an extra dollar and recolor it/add markings to people's liking....Does that sound fair? Then after I sell those, I might get into customs and chibi commissions.

SO YAH.
What would you guys like to see from me (now that I am somewhat back in the drawing mood)?

I went MIA for a bit. Gyuuh. I've been lacking inspiration. The sad thing is I have had ample time to be motivated as I am on summer vacation. I must say I wasted most of it. I went on vacation to the Rocky Mountains and went to Orlando Florida...The rest was spent sitting on my butt in front of my computer.

I might take chibi commissions because I don't have the motivation to do anything full blown like backgrounds and such. Or maybe a few designs..Idk I am feeling really rusty as of late. I could really use the extra money though.

I have become really fond of drawing in Drawr, its less time consuming than SAI or Photoshop because its not a high resolution drawing program ( I also notice my stuff comes out better imo >.<). Exams are coming up within the next two weeks and I don't have a lot of time to devote to commissions...but I something came up and I could use a few dollars.
