This week is finals week for me. I have two final projects to finish, and a physics final to study for this week. just giving you a heads up just in case you don't hear from me much the next 5 days.

Yup, it's the week before finals week. SOOOOOOOO, ask me whatever you want!

I genuinely like this episode. It had some rather interesting elements to it, a rather unorthodox friendship, and SO MUCH PINKIE... I think pinkie's overbearing excitement made this episode fall slightly flat. It was a pretty good episode all in all. It had all the good elements of the good episode, and it also had the sisterly dynamic that we expect between Pinkie and Maud pie

My grade: A-

Strengths: Best episode all around so far this season. Had the Pinkie-Maud dynamic on display. Rather unorthodox friendship for Maud (I won't say who through). rather interesting flashback with Maud.
Drawbacks: Pinkie was overbearing at times.


Next new episode: Fluttershy Leans In, May 6th.

Ask me some stuff if you want. Just a heads up, I'll be pretty busy the next couple weeks. The semester is winding down and I have a pair of papers (one for each of my meteorology classes) to finish.

This was a very adorable episode at times. We had a full on case of the cutes with flurry heart making her return. This is yet another episode that had two separate storylines, or three if you want to look at it that way. The plot was a bit noisy, but still pretty well done. The dual storylines work this time because of the meaning of the second storyline of the episode with Cadence and Shining Armor. Overall, this was a very adorable episode full of baby caused mischief.

My grade: B

Advantages: Very cute moments between Twilight and Flurry, second storyline actually fits into the narrative well

Drawbacks: Rather noisy plot, needed a bit more of the cadence/shining armor storyline.

Another MLP season is finally here. I'll be reviewing the episodes as I have the past couple of seasons. I'm thinking about doing audio reviews as well (this will happen after the semester ends next month, if I decide to). anyway, let's get to it.

First off, I did like the fact that the first two episodes were both distinct episodes from each other. This is the first time ever in the series history that the season premieres were two distinct episodes. There were also two noticable changes to the intro as well. (I'll let you see those for yourself.)

Review of Celestial Advice
I really liked that they brought back all the characters from the past that Starlight had befriended. We had our first Discord instance as well. I really liked the fact that it really focused on Celestia and Twilight. It gave us a side from Celestia that we've never seen either. Overall, this episode was a bit noisy when it comes to all the characters that were in it, but otherwise the storyline was quite good.
My grade: B+
Advantages: Good storyline, a side of Celestia we've never seen
Drawbacks: slightly noisy with all the characters



Review of All Bottled Up
This was an episode that felt noisy from the get go, with a dual storyline featuring the Mane 6 and Starlight & Trixie. The noisyness of this episode, along with the song, which really didn't do much to advance the plot, made this episode fall down the rankings for me. However, the fact that they had three ponies get infected with Starlight's Anger made it slightly better. Overall, this episode could have been better as a pair of episodes, one with the mane 6 and another with trixie and starlight. The storyline was just a bit noisy for my tastes.
My grade: B
Adavantages: A bit of humor, usage of other ponies to convey Starlight's anger.
Drawbacks: Noisy storyline better off as a pair of episodes.

This is totally overdue, as i've been wanting to see Zootopia for over a year now. I have FINALLY watched it, and I absolutely love it. Disney did an amazing job making the world of Zootopia feel so closely to our world. I'd have to say that Judy's probably my favorite character, followed closely by Nick. This was a nonstop up and down on the emotion train. I really hope that they make a sequel some day.

Advantages: A great story line, good backstory for the main duo. Great emotional story line, with very funny parts and some tearjerker moments as well. Great ending as well

Drawbacks: Buildup to the climax of the movie could have been a little bit faster.

My grade: A

Had a Wild monday, had to take shelter in the basement of the dorm because of the weather. Please ask me stuff :)
