There's a good reason why I don't usually write journals.

Because as busy as my life seems to be, I don't usually think any of it is worth writing about. Most of my activities revolve around just being around other people. I don't really get anything significant done outside my work, and I feel like I've been on autopilot for quite some time.

That said, I am trying to find something I can try consistently doing for a while.

I recently got a replacement bow for my violin.
I've had a very nice large Intuos 3 for quite some time.
I have a ton of games I have yet to beat.
I have a guitar that I only pick up to do 3 chords and the intro to Sweet Child of Mine.
I have a gym membership.

At the moment my life goals is to get better at all of this... all while not sacrificing my social life.

Right now I feel like I'm in general mediocre at everything. I really want to start being excellent at SOMETHING.

Update on life:

I've been pretty stressed lately because of work. I think that's the #1 source of stress on my life.

My boyfriend  zenaki has been without internet for a while now, and I've resorted to letters to communicate. It's quaint but it gets the job done.

There hasn't been a formal meet in Cincinnati for a while now, and it's starting to get to me. I haven't seen a lot of my friends in a long time.

I watched the first 13 episodes of Glee, and I have to say omg Kurt! <333 I think I'm obligated to buy it on DVD now!

So anyone have any ideas for things to do with a bunch of people (say... at a furmeet) outside the house in autumn? I can't host anything anymore because of my cuntbag downstairs neighbor, and I wanna gather our local furs together again!

Every con I've gone to attracted drama that I would have rather not dealt with, so I'm taking a furry con hiatus.

I'll still go to meets, I think, but even those have attracted drama, just not as much as a convention.

What's happening:
I'm back to the work grind after AC and Independence Day. I spent a good bit of yesterday cleaning up my apartment trying to get organized, I still have a lot to do.

What's next:
I'm expecting to watch Predators Saturday during Matinee hours, I bet I wont be able to go to the showing I want to due to  hikaruwolf sleeping in till 3 pm *will pummel him till he wakes at 11:30 am*
On the 24th there's a local furmeet I'm interested in going to.

What's worrying me:
AC and Independence day drained my funds, I gotta be frugal for a couple months, as I noticed a trend in the last 6 or so months... I wont last past October if I continue with this trend. So no more cons, period, until I have my finances on the increase.

Emo warning:
I have a goal to get to 230 lbs in 10 weeks (minus one day). I exercised last night, but I weighed myself this morning at 1.2 lbs MORE than the previous day. Ok wtf...


Anyway, I'm wasting time before work... I better get my stuff together and go now.

Went to AC, hung out with my boyfriend  zenaki ^_^

Barely hung out with my good... if not best friend  hikaruwolf
He got a suit, so he was all over the place.

I was up till 2 am last night.

Solitude feels good right now. I want more.
I'm not taking a break from furry, that's impossible.

I went to a furmeet in Dayton.

I have to say that before I went I was the most unenthusiastic I've ever been before a meet.
In the end I enjoyed bowling and the random shenanigans that happened, but after the meet I am back to where I was before.

I dunno, I think my interest in furries is waning, or perhaps it's my interest in everything in general.

After a year of actually meeting people, dating in the fandom (very few actual dates :'( ), and in general being semi active in my local furry community, I've gotten quite a few new friends. I can't see me leaving the fandom, but I can see me taking a break.

I'm actually getting tired of looking for a mate. I don't really need anyone to complete me, as I am a whole being by myself. Before a year ago I never tasted anything that resembles a real relationship, but now that I know what it may feel like... I dunno.

I've been told if anyone deserves a mate, it's me. I disagree. I don't deserve someone. I don't deserve anything really. My life seems to be geared on luck. I'm lucky to have a job. I'm lucky to have parents that helped me out growing up and through college (I think that would've been a different story if I told them certain parts of my life). I'm lucky to even have the friends I currently have.

I'm sure this is way too long for most of you to get to this point, so I'll stop getting emo on your monitors now. I love you, my friends. I wouldn't trade you for the world!

For the record... all this talk about luck is against my nature.
