April 2019 Journal Update
Posted 6 years agoIt has been a while since I've update the journal.
I am attempting to pen a follow-up/conclusion to "The Collector: Lockup" story. It is now a main focus of my life, so it is slow going. Also, I am attempting to establish a large buffer of 15 comics before I start posting.
My main focus is a graphic novel focusing on a set of cartoon characters. However, since I am not a professionally-trained artist and have a day job, this is also a slow process. I've never taken a class in graphic design nor a professionally-oriented cartooning class, so I am tending to stumble around quite a bit as I try to draw this.
The hazard of being a self-taught artist, I suppose.
I have held my current day job as a laboratory assistant for three years. I have been using "Pokemon GO" as a way to get in more walking/exercise. I'm not taking any classes at the moment, either for professional advancement or personal enrichment. Sadly, there is not much more to report.
I do hope to begin posting the conclusion to the "Lockup" story later this year.
Take care!

Quick Update
Posted 8 years agoI apologize again for the long absence...
This past year was a rough one for me. I lost my old job of some 20+ years, but I did get a new job. However, the new job was truly meant for a younger person rather than an older adult, so I pushed myself more than I should have. As a result, I gave myself another round of kidney stones. Then I had a diabetes scare (actually an interaction between a medication and refined sugars), and ended the year with an outbreak of shingles.
I did a quick drawing of one of my favorite furry characters, but I've been unable to upload the image to FurAffinity. Here is a quick link to the image on my DA gallery:

I've been having problems getting my drawing mojo back. I hope to try to post something here during 2017, but I can't make any promises.
Take care!

Sorry for long absence
Posted 12 years agoI apologize for not being around much, but I've been recovering from Organic Chemistry II (barely scraped a "B").
I've also been having a running fight getting the correct type of eye glasses since the end of May and only today (August 8th) have I finally obtained a set of lenses that will allow me to work on my home and work computers.
I've uploaded a couple of images of one of my favorite transformation subjects, 16-year-old southern Mink girl Arlette du Ponte. I hope to eventually show how she ends up working for Annelise's grandmother, but she won't be Annelise's regular test subject.
That's all for now. I have to retake Calculus I this fall, but I've been reviewing it over the summer so I hope the Fall 2013 semester won't be quite as stressful. Maybe I'll be able to crank out a few more images...

"Cooking with Annelise" finally makes its debut
Posted 12 years agoWell, I survived Organic Chemistry I and scraped a passing grade. I have until January 15th before Organic II starts and won't be coming up for air until mid-May. I don't know if I'll be taking any summer classes.
Anyway, I wanted to finish off some projects and I finally had the time to put the text onto my Annelise debut story, which has been on the drawing board for almost a year and a half. Essentially, this is a furry "Bewitched!" with some naughty content and it gives me a greater freedom to play with more extreme transformations than I have with my "Collector" series.
This doesn't mean I'm going to abandon the "Collector" series - I will finish the "Lockdown" story arc, but I probably won't be posting until next summer.
Thanks for dropping by as I finish of 2012. See you in Summer 2013. Take care!

Hiatus During School Year 2012-2013
Posted 13 years agoI apologize for the long absence, but I was quite busy this summer with school work despite not even taking a summer class.
Unfortunately, the Organic Chemistry sequence that starts tomorrow is rumored to be fairly intense (i.e. the joke at one community college is that you don't so much pass it as survive it) so I won't be able to do much recreational drawing for the next school year. I will be drawing 3-D versions of organic molecules for class and homework, but I doubt anyone really wants me to post those...
I will attempt to finish the "Lockdown" story arc, and I do have a four-page scene drawn, but I just managed to get a cold and that has knocked me for a loop, so I am not up to attempting to cut and paste dialogue and word balloons at the moment. Plus, I have another ASFR project that is drawn but just needs dialogue as well, but that will have to wait.
Bottom line: This account will be relatively inactive for the next nine months. I'll try to come up for air once in a while, but school and my day job come first.
See you in 270 days! Take care!

Gallery safe for now
Posted 13 years agoI haven't had any complaints, nor any warnings from the moderators, so my gallery will stay as it is. However, if there are any problems, I will need to take action.

Removed Image and Removal of Gallery
Posted 13 years agoI made the decision to remove an image from my gallery after a fellow member of FA expressed concern.
The image contained five of my pre-adolescent characters, three of them female, in bathing suits at the lake beach front. Because all the characters were preadolescent, I drew two of the female characters topless and the third covering herself because of the unwanted attentions of one of the male characters. I thought the image was cute and devoid of sexual activity, but I made a decision to put it under "Mature" because some people might consider topless 10-year-olds too sexual for a "General" rating. I felt that most FA members would inherently understand such reasoning.
Earlier today, a fellow FA member added a comment with a cut-and-paste of the Acceptable Uploads Policy (AUP) regarding minors and/or underage characters in sexual situations. The commenter offered no introduction, statement of his/her concerns, or any additional thoughts. If the commenter has sent a private note, I regret that as of the posting of this journal I have not received it.
As I understand the aforementioned passage of the AUP, ANY image containing a minor must be given a "General" rating, be devoid of any "adult" or "mature" concepts, and be suitable for all ages. However, several groups of my characters are teenagers who are dealing with some adult issues: One group was put in stasis and observed via webcams while another group is learning about the "reality" of inanimate transforation. Some of these are experimental concepts, character/idea developmentconcepts, and even attempts at serious story telling. As you can see, these include some sexual concepts.
Without further information to go on and the tendency of "the mindless masses" to jump to conclusions, I have removed the image in question. I will be deciding within the next week whether or not to clear out the remainder of my gallery. Until then, I will wait to see if the moderators have been involved.
I am sorry if my image crossed a line. There was never any intention to do so.

I'm back, but only for three weeks...
Posted 13 years agoSorry that I've been away for so long, but due to my two surgeries I got behind in taking my classes. I had to take two classes this past Fall 2011 semester in order to get back on schedule.
One of the classes was very homework intensive, revolving around regulatory affairs within the scientific industry. The other class, Microbiology, was much easier but we had a disease project that took up a good chunk of time.
I'll try to finish up several projects both here and on DeviantArt, but as of January 9th my next class (Principles of Chemistry II) takes priority. Since I will only be taking one class I hope to have a little more time to draw and post.
Take care!

Long time, no posting...
Posted 14 years agoI apologize for my long absence. I began to recover from surgery on my left knee when I started my summer class (Ethics 101). Because it is a summer class, I've been doing homework at twice the normal pace, so I haven't had much time for drawing. Still, I did some practice drawings for Poland ( http://www.furaffinity.net/user/poland ) and an inked image of his character Ciel.
Another reason I haven't been posting is that I'm working on a new TF scenario. I won't say much about it except that it will give me a lot more freedom than the Collector setting, as well as indulging in a TF fetishes I can't do in the Collector setting.
I'll give you more details later. I won't abandon the Collector series, but it may get delayed a little. Take care!

Out for Surgery
Posted 14 years agoI'm having my left knee replaced tomorrow, so I'll be checking my account only occasionally for the next two weeks.

Long Time, No Drawing...
Posted 14 years agoSorry that I've been absent for a while, but between classes and a knee replacement surgery last year, the fall semester was not a good time for productive drawing. I'm looking at replacing my other knee within the next couple of months, so I don't know how much drawing I will accomplish before or after the surgery.
I will be continuing the Collector series, and I currently have the next three pages drawn but waiting for dialogue, inks and colors. In the meantime, I've put a new sketch in the scraps section debuting a magical furry character so that I can expand my range of transformations and victims.
I'll get the continuation of the Collector series up before surgery. So please be patient for another couple of weeks, thank you. Take care!

Back Problems
Posted 15 years agoI managed to pull a back muscle or two this morning, so I'm going to be delayed on all my art projects, including some sketches I promised.
My apologies to those affected.
