Update and Life changes
Posted 5 years agoHello there, long time no see!
It's quite obvious now that my activity and art flow have been suffering during the past months, actually since I moved on my own I find difficult to find a moment to draw as much as I did before, and at this point I've made peace with the idea that my rythm has changed completely and I wouldn't be as fast and frequent as I was before, art wise.
Living in my own place gave me chores and responsibilities I've never had before and every day lately feels as if the day doesn't have enough hours to make everything. I had to dose my time of drawing to the minimum and limiting it makes it sometimes impossible to focus properly. So i'm making an effort to schedule and follow more proper hours of arting.
I thank you all your patience and your willing to commission me still and so far, and I promise to those who already are commissioning me that I will complete your pictures no matter how much it takes me, I always complete all the works that people have commissioned me and this has been for years now.
I just want to let you know that the Cats Love Water comic and commissions have become my priority now and I won't be taking new ones or messaging the waiting list until I can find a balance. I'm doing my best to re-organise my schedule and be able to complete my works, if not as fast as before, at least better.

Posted 5 years agoI know, i know what you're thinking "but Peritian, you already updated your commission prices this year" YES I DID! but revising them again in this hiatus month and once my current slots are already finished, I realised they wee faulty in some aspects I changed some things back to were they used to be. This is updated in the following way:
- The colouring types have no more names anymore, it proven to be confusing for people to know what was cell shading and what is soft shading or painting so I decided to name them as types and add a description.
- The Type 2 (rendered) is back to its original price and Type 3 (painting) as well is back to cost a tad more. It was proven in demand for them to be more time consuming-
- I added the option to Upgrade your flat commission later in time with prior agreement.
- Added the option of ask for sketches or line art only-

Monthly Update! - small hiatus
Posted 5 years agoHello everybody! thanks for reading from the start.
As you have noticed there's a lack of uploads here apart of my comic Updates, I'm not making much art lately beside my commission and comic work and it's taking just a bit longer than usual. I've planned to start a small hiatus now, a little break of a couple of weeks, to gather up my energies, faded from burn out, and have some practices and maybe an ocasional YCH (which I haven't done in a long time).
I won't stop working on the comic but I will take it slow with commissions, taking a couple but not as much as four so far. I've found out my actual rhythm of life and responsibilities makes it a bit slower and different in my art flow, but also makes me focus more on quality and improvement of my current art instead of quantity and speed. My last commissions are big and complex and I'm focused into quality and not rushing the final product, besides of trying a new art style that lets me break the rules and expand the potential my pictures can have (hopefully!)
I apologise for the time this is taking, i know you commented in the waiting list and it's taking longer than usual, but I want to make sure none feels left out in the commission schedule and at least can have a chance to have their picture done. Don't be scared of the length of the waiting list, i can reach you eventually and I'ms till going through it. I'm very thankful for your patience and your will to wait for my art, means a lot to me.

Posted 5 years agoHello everyone! sorry for my last month absence, I had to organise myself and deal with things of public knowledge. I hope everyone is doing okay in these difficult times. I understand that due the current situation offering commissions will be a rough deal, but I will still kindly asking those who are in the waiting list if their are available to claim their slots and take them, just in case, I want to keep delivering my art to those who want it.
I've decided to update my commission prices from now on , don't worry, they won't increase at all! but instead, switching categories;
-From now on, Paintings will be more affordable than soft shaded pieces, switching their place with them, you can check the new chart here to be clearer: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/36614608/
-I've also added descriptions on each commission so you are sure what is included in each type.
-I've only included the most popular commissions as requested, you can also ask line art or sketches only in a more affordable price.
The reason of this switching has an explanation of course; yes, contrary to the popular belief, paintings are easier to make and demand less effort.
To be fully honest with you all, I'm not an artist that is big on line art. Usually working on it is a constant struggle for me and when the soft shaded pictures are finished, sometimes and without this ruining the quality of the picture, I feel the line art is "annoying" to look at, and doesn't contribute to the composition. This is of course a "me" thing, but I hope with this change I could offer you better pictures in a more according price with the effort that takes to make them.
Of course I'm contempt with every picture I finish (I don't deliver the commission until I'm completely satisfied) but I think that paintings demand less effort than pictures that actually have the extra step of line art.
I hope this is alright with you and in any case you have an opinion to voice in this matter please don't hesitate to leave it in this journal! I'd like to hear it.

pyrokitsune777 Life Update and illness - December 2019
Posted 6 years agoLong story short! I got sinuses due a not well treated cold I had during my vacation. I started to get sick mid-November and stayed at least a whole month not being completely healed (which was pretty shitty for a vacation), so I decided to go to the hospital after being feverish for two days, now I need to be 14 days in treatment with antibiotics and such.
It sucks plenty, because It's hard for me to be in front of screens without developing a headache, but I'm already in the path of recovery and feeling better, I want to keep you updated and specially for those who are waiting commissions from me.

I've been planning to take a vacation month so starting in November 10th you'll see me not uploading much content or taking commissions. Posted 6 years agoYou know this is my favourite month of the year, Halloween!
Keeping in mind is not very celebrated in my country and I'm a fan of dark themes, I love to enjoy it fully with the summoning of the skimpy Ash, the demon,
who will have of course, as every year, his new reference picture.
This month a YCH auction will go up (maybe two, but also I'll go through the commission waiting list selecting the
next people in line and offering them the option of including Ash in their commission,
in case they haven't a very defined idea.
I wanted to make a short comic auction as I did the first time he
appeared and I hope to aim to this idea in the upcoming days. But if you have a different
idea I'm open to hear your thoughts about it.
I also have upcoming collabs with nice fellow artists
so please stay tuned for that! And if I have the chance,
Cats Love Water will have their themed content (this is going to be a busy month)

Commissions and comic delay- EXPLAINED
Posted 6 years agoI want to let all my commissioners know that the delay in the starting of commissions is due several factors, as I mentioned on my twitter, the most influencing of them was my motorcycle crash; the injuries suffered limited the movement of my left hand and let me some minor pains I had to deal with, so I had a week to recover from it and be comfortable to draw again (as I use my left hand to operate the keyboard while drawing)

About cats love water latest content!
Posted 6 years agoI remembered I posted this on patreon but I figured out lots of people here may not know this since I forgot to point it out here, so I will now, basically:
"If you keep supporting this project or you read it online you'll notice this comic will change in various aspects, first of all: the style of coloring will be slighty different, focusing more on mood and expression than in rendering or care about the details, my goal all along was to make the page legible and not too busy to look at mantaining a simple and solid aesthetic. You'll see less rendering and shading layers but a better cared drawing style. Except backgrounds because I love to render those-
Second: this chapter (chapter IV) will be heavily plot based, you can expect the sex scene per chapter as always of course, but now is when all the story will turn around so you'll see a lot of sexless pages where the plot moves forward. If you are looking to choke your duck or twist your button insanely looking at this you may be a little dissapointed waiting for the sex scene. I just want to be honest with you since I don't want to lie my supporters that made so much for me, and having you pledging on a product that maybe is not what you asked for.
If you still are on board knowing this you are welcome!!! and thanks for your support-
And finally!!! I will change my goals! setting every update with 2 pages, and add the next goal as a minicomic featuring the past of the younger twins. So you can expect the story to move forward a little faster from now on and you recieving more content."
This is what was posted on my Patreon before the chapter starts, I wanted to be honest with everyone who read this comic and letting you know that everything that will be happening from now on was planned from the very start! and it's not something that came up randomly out of my sleeve, if you have any doubts please read the comic again since chapter 1- This won't be solely porn based and I'm concious that this may not be the comic you are looking for so you are free to move on from it- the old chapters are not going anywhere.
I want to thank you all so much, the people who left nice and constructive comments and have their own theories about what's going on, you help me so much wit this project I've been carrying away for such a long time!

Lately I got a tablet screen that ended up being uncompatibe with my cpu that has at least 7 years old. I need to gather money apart of what I need to live, so i can get a basic graphic designer computer with an improved graphics card.

I just want to let you know, dear people in the waiting list, that the commission queue was paused this month for a reason: I realized that lots of customers declined because holidays and christmas shopping are on top, so I decided to make two YCH instead than asking over and over and having lots of people decline and ough to be noted again next month.
So the commission queue will start normally in January! I'm sorry this is making your wait longer, but I want to give the chance to people in the waiting list to get what their want and don't have the bad chance to be in a busy month- I hope you don't mind, this is a little of a Christmas break- In any case you are too concerned about this you can always leave a message!
