Bride-zilla!
Posted 9 years agoO.M.G. In all my years of being alive, have I ever been so terrified of someone. It was her wedding in a really old building with really old electrical "stuff". We spent an hour troubleshooting a better way to power her lights and the passive aggression was drowning everyone. I ended up saying "fluff it" and scaled down the building to pull power from a different area. Work. She just nodded at me. Her posture spoke a million words. Too spooky for me. Saved the day and I only had 8 panic attacks lol.
What happens when you mix a pyro and a a/v?
Posted 9 years agoBoth our companies sent one person to do this really big celebration music event. Well, he and I put on quite a show. 1.3, 1.4 fireworks, flames... all the flames..., video wall, lasers, all the lasers, speakers that made heavy metal into God metal. A merry-go-round. On fire. (((don't ask, the client wanted it) it was really cool ) I want one for my birthday)
So yeah, I was busy for the past 4 months. A/V company hired me and a event planning firm. Still the baby of the company :(. Someone help me get explosives certified cause that looked awesome.

Documentary about Fur the More
Posted 9 years agoIts done (minus having to swap it from 7:1 to 5:1 to steer because they didn't tell me the theatre didn't have it available until the day of the turn in so sound is not corrected)
I will have it re mixed tomorrow and post 8 other films I have finished this year! Check my Youtube Channel for the rough cut I had available hehe.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMZ.....ature=youtu.be
This penultimate cut will be replaced with the real file once I get to the editing bay at work tomorrow.

Film funding and stuff
Posted 10 years agoWith 3 films that I am working on this year and another just being a foley night, It seems that funding might be a problem based on what the producer has sent me. In order to create a "heavy wind" effect, I would need about $250 for equipment and then $600~ for props lol. He gave me $300. This should be interesting. Rigging an chopped up plane to record sound is not cheap I tell ya!.
With Fur The 'More coming soon, I have a few things planned that requires a doley and Dolly Parton. I'll only give hints until they release the events schedule :P

Sport Broadcasting and stuff
Posted 10 years agoWith the Washington sports teams (football and basketball mostly) calling me a lot lately for public relations and random media stuff, I've been getting a lot of notice for my work! I hope I can get a job as a technical director or be a part of the media staff there. They are so much fun to be around! Once I get out of college I am defiantly going to apply there and the news station.
College broadcasting is a lot of work and travel since you have to travel with more than one team. I could try to get a staff position with another college since my friend just got hired as the director and man does it feel weird xD. I was his producer and director in almost all of his projects and now he's the head of the department. He deserves it too for all the hard work and knowledge of the industry!
Im going back to college on the 25th so I'll be throwing out music and photos of what I am up to. My goal of this year is to get a job (well.. i have 2 jobs but they don't count lol) and get an apartment.
Shout out to guy who brings beef jerky to work every month! I love him for that lol

Producing and stuff
Posted 10 years agoSo I made an awesome decision to be the producer of a local film and a student film, sound producer for a student film, technical director for a small business who needed commercial stuff and training videos and stuff... I might of taken too much of a load but hey, who needs sleep lol. I guess I just wanted to get more out of the free time I had. Now I'm full and.... Kinda happy with that. It's in my blood to be a workaholic and I just can't do nothing for a whole day (unless I have beef jerky dipped in smoke bbq and blueberries... I have weird food combinations.)
I plan to direct a dance music video at furthermore this year so be ready for some spam heh. I'll be combining both profiles later this month so it won't be a mess for everyone.
I have a few presents for a few people to give that are not the traditional methods heh. I hope they enjoy it!

Filming Countdown!!!!
Posted 10 years agoA Fluffed Up Christmas is going to start filming in 7 days! Woo! I hope everything turns out good! I've planned this for a few years now and finally, I get to make it happen! Script writing is a lot of work.. but I have a lot of inspiration from Tempest, Tori, Largo, Nakise and Scrufflevic! Thanks everyone! Now to direct this.... into the ground cause I have no idea how I am going to get this going lol. Oh well! Get-er-done.

furtagious... The art of furring humans at a rapid rate...
Posted 12 years agoI walked from my car to my dorm in suit because I forgot to lock my door and I had the wrong shoes in my bag. When I opened the door there was about 12 people sitting around playing Magic and eating "stuff" from fast food... 10 minutes passed... "One Of Us".... (*,(*_*).*) I now owe them multiple sets of paws and a trip to Anthrocon and Fur The 'More.
A film project for class had a part in the script where the guy gets "higher then the sky" and he talks to his dog... I just so happen to have a dog that can talk... 2 hours later... the crew wants to abuse me for future projects and wants hats with ears.
Super Smash Bros Brawl torny. On Campus. One room. One day. One Perk. All died. To Wolf (and Falco). All feared me and I owed them animal hats and suiting at the park and zoo :(
Furtagious? I guess I have a 68% chance.

Social filming experiment!
Posted 12 years ago So me and a few friends wanted to do a social experiment which required participation from its audience. In a small town like ours, we expected a really bad 2:10 ratio of people doing the activity with us and a 0:10 ratio of them doing it without lol. We filmed for three hours in high traffic zones ( not the mall cause Simon Malls is strict yet lets people wear heads...) With four cameras we spread out into groups. Group one was dancing. Group two was singing. Group three was screaming and yelling. Group four was purely audience choice. Yada Yada Yada, the most participants would scream and yell on camera with the second being dancing on Group four's set.
What did we learn? People are camera shy, people wont break the norm unless they see others doing it, the fox doesn't like to be told what they say, people let you do crazy stuff if you have a camera and theres a beef jerky brand called Perky Jerky.
