The Spirit of Halloween
Posted 8 years agoI was considering writing a transformation themed, slasher style, thriller story, however, I need victims. I could use my own characters, but I thought, who makes a better victim than someone else's character?
So... is there anyone out there who would like to place their character into a slasher film as one of the victims? Just comment if you would like to participate. This is completely free of charge, and you will be notified once the story is complete.
I'm going to post a story under the same title of this journal asking the same thing. In that manner, I hope to garner slightly more ears to take a gander at what I'm offering.

Appearance: Soot colored hair, full beard, long narrow nose, silver eyes, tall, and average build.
Personality: Calm, Commanding, Heroic, Adventurous, Experimental, and Protective.
Attire: (Officially.) Crown of the Vendarium Empire, Chrome Red Carbon Fiber robes with gold lining, Charcoal carbon fiber shirt and pants, and Steel toed boots. (Military.) Vendarium Uniform, Chameleon Mesh Armour, and movement enhancing boots. (Private.) Simple clothes, normally a short sleeved shirt and pants.

Backstory: Axius Vendarius was born into a long line of emperors. From birth, he was raised to be the leader of an intergalactic empire, but he was a problematic child, always sneaking out of the royal palace to play with the common folk. The more his father forbid him from this course of action, the harder he tried to escape. Sometimes, they would get into vehement arguments, and his father sometimes even told him he would never rule the empire. Axius' father died of natural causes when he was 19 and he took the crown. At first, he was overwhelmed by the responsibilities of ruling an empire, and he sought ways to get out of the palace. He went out personally with invasion forces to lead the attacks, despite his advisors abhorrence at his recklessness. At one point, he personally arrived at an outpost that had been suffering from disappearances in the night. He was determined to get to the bottom of it himself. On the third night of his investigation, he just happened to be in the right place at the right time. He observed some kind of large creature climbing over the outer battlements and sneaking off into the courtyard. He followed it, and saw as it stalked a young private who had only recently been placed in the post. He called out to the man and the creature turned and looked at him with yellow eyes. He had his rifle half raised when it bowled him over, knocking the breath from him. It bit into his arm which he had raised in defense, and was certain to rip him limb from limb, but the private came to his rescue, firing a volley of plasma charges into the beasts back. Axius promoted the man to Lord Commander, his personal bodyguard. It was soon apparent that Axius had been bitten by a werewolf, and he took special precautions to insure that he didn't spread the curse to anyone else. Over the years, him and his scientists tried desperately to find a cure, but to no avail.

Backstory: Originally, Diluvian was two separate beings. Will Richards and the spirit Diluvian. Diluvian was an ancient dragon spirit who was cursed to wander the Earth, unable to experience it without sharing somebody else's body. Few could see him, and those who could had adverse reactions. Collaborative Story Anyone?
Posted 8 years agoSo, I had this marvelous idea that I would like to put into action with the help of someone that is at least moderately skilled in artistic literature.
The idea consists of this, I work together with one other person to write a full length story/novel. We would each take turns writing chapters to the story. I would write a chapter, and then my partner would write a chapter, and so on and so forth. The various specifics such as setting and plot are up for discussion.
I think this is a great idea and would like to try it out. Is anyone willing to give it a go?

Backstory: Drake is actually an alternate version of Maverick. His existence is tied to his talisman as Maverick's is tied to his. He still holds many of Maverick's memories, but he retains little to none of Maverick's personality. Likewise, Maverick retains all of Drake's memories but not his personality. Ever since Drake was discovered, he has taken turns with Maverick existing. They both sit within separate realities, and so their actions don't affect each others worlds. Drake's past, whether it be considered real or not, consists of him finishing high school and deciding to not go to college. To him, college was too much bother for something that he didn't feel like he needed. He got himself an apartment to live in, and a Bar at a night club to work at. He doesn't make an exceptional amount of money, and is virtually unknown by the public, but he enjoys a comfortable life which he spends predominantly with his girlfriend, Ivy.

He has ceased to choose names for himself since he rarely is capable of remembering them, and instead allows the few whom he trusts and interacts with to decide what to call him. He has seen and experienced many things ranging from world peace, to planetary destruction. His wisdom is boundless since his age varies between realities, rendering him practically immortal, but he has great sorrow that follows him everywhere.

Personality: Friendly, Optimistic, and generally just a kind soul. She can be somewhat naive, but knows how to defend herself if it comes to it.
Attire: Silver chain necklace with a round Onyx.
Appears in: None as of yet.
Universe: Earth in general.
Backstory: Siks does not exist in the regular sense that one would think. The only thing that allows her to exist is the necklace that she can always be seen wearing. This necklace has an uncanny ability to want to be put on. Whoever wears it, becomes Siks. To Siks, it is as though she disappeared out of her previous place and time and reappeared in her current place and time instantaneously. However, when the necklace is removed, she changes back into whoever had put on the necklace instantly. The victim then experiences an identity crisis as the thoughts and memories of Siks cling to the mind like dried paint. Siks herself, despite the seemingly sinister purpose of the necklace, is a kind hearted soul who's only flaw is her vicious attachment to her necklace. This Is Halloween
Posted 9 years agoSo, I wanted to write some stories with a Halloween theme, but I am having a bad case of writer's block and I haven't the faintest idea what to write about.
In light of this, I would like some ideas for Halloween themed short stories. You may include plot, setting, and characters, depending on how much freedom you want me to have with the literature. I have yet to decide on how many I'm going to write, so just use your better judgement and try not to throw to many at me.

Announcing a New Planet
Posted 9 years agoI hereby announce the creation of a new planet known as Morg which will be the setting of several stories and maybe even a CYOA.
It is located several million light years away from the milky way galaxy and revolves around a cold purple dwarf star. It has one moon that is nearly as big as it is, so they rotate around each other. The moon, consisting predominantly of radium is almost always visible in the endlessly night sky.
The atmosphere of Morg is very thick and consists almost completely of gases that do not skew ones view of the stars. One side of the planet is completely covered in volcanic reactions. These reactions produce heat which is reflected by the planets atmosphere, producing enough warmth to keep the planet from being a large block of ice.
It is extremely divers in the area of Flora and Fauna. With over 200 species of mushroom, many types of carnivorous plant, fairly large and unique insects, bio-luminescent micro-organisms filling the oceans, many hybrids of other known species, and some of the most unique creatures to ever live in the universe, Morg is certain to be spectacular and amazing.
How do you get to this amazing place? Morg is located within a focal point of inter-dimensional rifts. If you happen to fall into such a rift, the odds are that you will end up on this planet. However, if rifts in the fabric of space and time were common, the universe would implode with the force of the inter-dimensional energy. Thus, the odds of falling into a rift are very very slim, so good luck.
Also, Gormik and Varrus demand that you pick a side. Klub Ice, or Klub Flambe.

I NEED NAMES!
Posted 9 years agoI need names. Lots of names. Whole families of names. A certain even that is going to occur in a novel I am writing requires lots of names, so give 'em here. They don't even have to be real names or words. They can just be made up words that can be used as a name if you want. Give me as many names as you can come up with and include names of mother and father as well. Thank you.

This was made easy by his lifetime friend, Timothy Alwood, who was a pre-war archeologist and who constantly brought him things from his travels and digs. One evening, Timothy brought a Talon Pendant that had been givin to him by a mysterious man who had said it was an object of great power. Timothy explained that he had yet to see anything suggesting any kind of power, but Mavrik was interested nonetheless. Without going into too much detail, Mavrik somehow triggered the pendant and was transformed into an anthropomorphic black falcon. Drawn to the talisman, he now wears it at all times, constantly searching for items of similar power to try and understand it.

Usage of Journals
Posted 9 years agoSo, I thought I would write a journal explaining what I'm going to do with journals.
Basically, Journals are going to be character sheets for any and all characters that appear in any of my pieces of literature. They will include any information I deem important, physical description, ect. They will also include links to any pieces of literature they appear in and which universe they belong to.

Posted 9 years agoI just had my wisdom teeth removed! This is a good thing as it means that I will probably have more time to post things on here over Christmas break.
