It's been a while since we chatted! So I figured I'd have a lil sit down real quick to just kind of...establish What I'm about for the uninitiated and possibly a refresher for those who forgot
No character I post is a "trap" "cuntboy" "shemale" or a "futa"
I feel some people might see the water as muddy since many of my characters are nonbinary, trans, or a strange creature like Slaan but I'm laying it all out that none of my characters are to ever be characterized like that
As a non binary person myself, these characters aren't fetishes, they're how I can openly feel comfortable in a setting that's not real life
I can't be as andro or femme presenting as I'd like in real life. I can't be as masc as I'd like to be in real life either.
IT SUCKS! :D but thanks to my characters I can be who I feel I am.
This is why I'm very picky on who draws my characters, it's why I also ask that if you see me supporting or interacting with people who use nb or trans people as fetishes, please let me know
I'm very trusting and naive and get blinded by pretty art! I've had to unfollow many people because all of a sudden gross art pops up on feeds!

Been a while since we just sat down and had a chit chat. We haven't caught up in a while!
How you guys doing? doing alright?

I've been good, living life. Been trying to draw more, create more that sort of thing but I've been a bit distracted
I got a new job, which has been fine. Just working a lot so that cuts into my creative time, hoping to get a new job tho so I don't go mental.
Also I got engaged! Weird right?
So that's also been eating at my free time......
But ya'll don't want to hear that gross nonsense!
Been playing a lot more table top games, listening to the Adventure Zone and it makes me want to run an online game or draw more D&D art so might see something along those lines in the future!
And lastly I wanted to try and solidify a con list for 2017/18! I'm hoping this year I can do a lot more!

I just hate hate HATE being a character hoarder, if I buy a character or adopt I wanma use them not let them collect dust
I feel bad having all these saved images and never doing anything with them I feel so guilty!!

My last day was Saturday and they told me on Friday that I no longer will be working there as they are shutting down.
I'm in a weird state of emotions right now...I'm trying to stay positive and in the Yuletide spirit...
But I'm also angry. Because shit like this ALWAYS happens. I very rarely catch a fuckin break.
And of course I'm just mostly sad.
I liked my job, for the most part. I have had pretty much the same job for 6 years. It was a local business and not a box store, I knew who my bosses actually were, i loved the customers, and I loved the area.
And now it's gone.
I don't like it when chapters of my life end i don't like change really...so I'm just kind of sad.
Also I am fucking just...Thank god I already got most of my holiday shopping done because I don't know how our financial situation is going to go now
I'm trying to file for unemployment but it's not going well.

Posted 9 years agoIt's so weird how last year I was dreading every second leading up to MFF but this year I am so fucking excited I can't stand it!!
Last year I didn't know what to expect, I was scared that my friend might ignore me or ditch me (which is absolutely ridiculous but hey that's what a paranoid brain does)
I hate large crowds, I thought I wouldn't fit in with anyone and I just pretty much preemptively decided that I was not going to have fun and that probably nothing would change that.
Thank Golly goodness I was wrong cause it turned into one of the most fun weekends of my life.

And I actually have PLANS!! :O

Posted 9 years agoAn artist I follow opened up some freebs ychs, but the catch was your Furlong, or what have you, had to be like...ACTUALLY you or representing you and it just got me thinking about the whole persona/fursona/ sona sona sona thing and....I dunno.
I guess I never actually thought of making my characters representative of myself.
I mean, obviously they are based on aspects of myself or stuff I find cool, but I wouldn't say any of them are ME.
Slaan is an almost idealized hedonist version of myself. Confident, sexy, comfortable, and ultimately powerful and in control of their own destiny.
Slaan is everything going I would want to be in a fantasy life and the only thing I really have in common with them is interests cause they are my interests...I guess in THAT way Slaan and I am the same person but again. In an ideal magical world.
Persoq is soft and cute, loveable and dorky. I guess he'd be the closest to me in a lot of ways but I think he has way more charisma than I actually do.
I'm not nearly as cute or charming as my bear son so that's why I've never considered him to be ME. Just again, what I wish I could be.
Mintea has my dream job and my ideal body shape but they are way too sweet and calm to be anything like me.
Same with Nuka and really any of my OCs.
I don't really talk "in character" unless joking around with friends or RPing, but I see some people who are ALWAYS on.
And not that there's anything really wrong with that, it's just something I've noticed.
I never really look thru the eyes of my character cause I've always had the Separate concept of character and myself.
He'll if I did make an oc based off me it'd be like... half pug half pumpkin, and it'd always be crying XD
I dunno, just something stuck in my head I wanted to thunk about
I always wonder if stuff like this helps create a sense of elitism in the Fandom?

I don't produce as much content as I'd like and as a result I don't attract as much attention to my work, which I would like to change but baby steps ya know?
But I am super proud, like I thought I wouldn't even get 10 watchers and HERE WE ARE! I've even been noticed by some of my art senpais and that's nuts man.
So I wanted to celebrate~ I dunno if I should do a giveaway, art raffle, or what?
I was thinking of maybe giving away a couple custom badges or sketches?
