Okay so they started doing friends in pokemon go,
I started a year or two ago as somthing to do with
my little one. So I also decided to share my trainer

Any snapmap map makers out there? I got an interesting problem I need to solve...

Here is the scenario:
I have a room that has a damaged airlock that's venting air to the outside. When the player opens one of the other doors in the room the air rushes into the room he/she is in
and keeps them from entering.

Now I did this I used blocking volume and some vortex generators to simulate the air rushing into the room.

Now here is my problem:
The vortex generators are tied into the door. It opens they turn on it closes they turn off.
I have the player hit a switch to close the airlock door. This gets rid of the blocking volumes, plays a sound of a closing door, gets rid of the hazard and changes the alert on their HUD. But how do I keep the vortexes from activating again for good?

I played with the logic gates and they stayed on all the time or never turn off
and signal repeaters left a visual flash do to the delay in them turning on and
the off signal hitting them.

Help is very welcome.

Well as some of you know, the family and I were packed up what little we didn't sell or give away to move down to Florida to help take care of my Wife's supposedly ill and decrepid father in Miami. Needles to say this blew up in our faces and we found ourself lied to , unwanted and without a home or job and next to no cash.
By the grace of a higher power we were taken in by my parents in Georgia with our tail tucked between our legs and what little dignity we had left. Over the last 3 months since then we been trying to find work and pull our lives together. Cash situation is tight its water tight and we fear we are going to lose what little sanity we have left after all this.
Don't think of this is as me asking for cash or hand outs but if you furs know anyone in the Atlanta / Athens area that is looking for an artist and designer to hire , I be happy to hear about it. The sooner I and my wife find work we can move out and into our own place and get the rest of our stuff out of storage.

Okay I was just reminded of a bad D&D joke and if I don't get it out of my head its going to drive me nuts...now not as much
the telling of the joke but more of the punch line that gets me,


A Young Adventurer heads out on his first grand adventure in the world. Not heeding the advice of his Uncle the local Inn
keeper, He heads into woods near his home known to be filled with all kinds of dangerous monsters rather then the fields
where the weaker ones are.
After exploring the woods fore most the day, he is unimpressed with the lack of "Dangerous Monsters in the woods."
His doldrums soon changes when he comes across a Dryad tending to her glade. He avoids her at first but he catches her
attention and she approaches and seduces the young novice adventurer. While they are in the mitts of there passion, a Trent
wanders out the woods attracted by all the commotion in what is typically serene location. While Trents are not interested
in such activities, it decides to join in on the "pollination" activities of the couple.
Hours later the novice adventurer wanders into his uncle's Inn covered in pollen, leaves, grass, sap and other sticky
fluids and sits at the bar. Interested in his nephew's appearance and dazed look in his eyes. he approaches him with a mug
of ale and asks "Guess you didn't listen to me; What happened to you ?'"
Still slightly dazed he drinks down the whole measure then looks at his Uncle. "I think I just had a Tree-way"

I will be relocating to the Milwaukee Wisconsin area come the end of August or the beginning September do to my wife's new employment. So I am seeking leads on full time employment opportunities that you my friends and watchers might be aware of in the Art and or Video Game field in that area, so I can have some kind of employment lined up other then part timing at the local Best Buy.

Things are finally coming along on my game project save for one litter snag...I need a good script writer.
the guy that originally wanted to work on my project bailed on us and I'm stuck without one. I' can write but I'm goint to be up to my nose with everything else with this project to take on the job.

if anyone is interested or knows anyone that would like to take the position let me know.

We'll so far I have 8 people from various fields asked to be part of my game project, which is 8 more then I thought I would actually get. One of those is head of a small Indi game group which makes me very happy. I've had lots of people offer me good luck and least two that have told me " Quit now and forget about making a game." ; For those two neigh Sayers I say "Nuts to you !"

I'm contemplating starting a small Sci-Fi themed computer RPG game project within the next month using the RPG maker VX ace program. This mostly do to the lack of job offers coming in it is not helping me generate any work for my portfolio...let alone barley covering my bills.
While I might be competent artist and designer; What I'm looking for are other game and level designers, artist and concept artist, script writers, music and FX people and programmers familiar with Ruby for games to pull together to make a team a more polished game. Sadly this is not going to be a AAA title but something small that might just be a portfolio piece or be put on Steam or the android market. Depending on how many interested party's I get this might change.

Ah I wish I was rich right now...this is a "Civilian" modle; I wonder if the can be bribed to make a mil-spec one

A short time back i told you all my comuter was out of comission...well yeah thats still true only the condition is worse then a hard drive, the whole main board went on top of all of all that asw well as it wont power up any more save for the fans. My father in law is broke out the old osilliscope and thinks he can fix it...if he cant then I might as well be looking at a new computer since they dont sell AM2 mother boards any more that can handle the ram; not since the new AM3 socket boards came out...the means new board, new ram (the new ones dont take ddr2) and a new cpu. The cost of this is a low ball est of $210-240 not counting having have to getting a 64 bit version of windows vista or 7.

Sadly here comes the the added insult...as of last week in part of the unemployed once more. The cell phone company I started working for 6 mothns ago closed the doors to most of its stores and mine was one of them; Part of their "Survival mode" actions.Swell that means i'm back in mine once more and back to job hunting once more...least I might get unemployment this time around but i wish they let me keep my phone.

On a postive note least that means I can get back to some long over due commisions to some people. Delivery gona be interesting since I'm working on a even older old P4 system that was planning on giving to my litte one, its slow as hell and can barly run anthing made in the last 9 years. I bought the new system to replace this dino while I went back to school from my new degree 7 years ago. Sadly no mmos, no sl (unless I can dig up my old text veiwer for it), Mass effect 2 or 3 or any other major games; Thankfully it boots up fast an, run photoshop and can get to my email and on rare occation bet me into my anime site with out choking on the stream.

Well after a good 6 year run in my tower, my hard drive died on it's sleep. Few nights back after going to the movies; I went to post about how much I and my littleone liked new avengers movie wjen my computer flashed the dreaded "Disk read error" on my screen. The guys at Cyberp.ower who built my rig told me that the drive was fragged and it would need to be replaced...sadly do to I had gotten it over 5 years ago it was out of warranty so they could not replace it so have to buy a new one else where to buy one...till then furs l'm stuck on my work phone till then.

Well it's the start of a new year so I might as well make another entry as the start of my next year on this plant starts this comming sunday morning.

As a few will know I got a new job at beginning of december selling cell fones for a local carrier. It's not quite what I wanted but its least it's some kind of real work even if it is Retail. Any how the hunt is still on for some thing in my real field ..

replacent stylus for my Old UC logic since it died of old age...I just orede its replacement last sunday a nice
10X6.25 Inches Graphic Drawing Tablet from Monoprice while it lacks in one stat it is as good as if not better then
the more pricer and smaller bamboo tablets i was looking at so I'll be fireing up the digital panting skills once more.
