Farewell to 2017
Posted 8 years agoThis was personally a good year for me despite having to go through college 'again'.
I met a lot of cool people and participated in Furry Fiesta for the first time. Had a 'very' good break up with my girlfriend (I know I know, how can a break up be good, well considering the previous break ups I've had, the fact that this was very mutual and that we are still friends is good)
On top of that, the biggest thing is that I've discovered my real artistic skill in 3D modeling and printing to be able to create physical models of whatever I want... Which means a lot of statuettes of fatasses.
So yeah, this year has been good to me and hopefully next year will build on that.

Currently running a poll on what fake (but functional) fat Amiibos I should make and sell first. The choices are vague at the moment cause Twitter only allows four options. There will be another poll narrowing the options down. I'll be selling these and depending on size and complexity might run between $45-65 per fat Amiibo.

I'm going to make and sell one or two seasonal sculpts to see the viability of selling these painted models. Depending on how the Bat turns out, I'll consider selling some other models, like the lizard maid and such.

Hurricane Harvey

I didn't get much damage, mostly going to help those who weren't as lucky. I'll get back on the ball by next week, though this was very much a life changing disaster.

ROAL IS IN (another) BOARD GAME

I've been a big fan of the precursor to this game, Catacombs, and it's a super fun strategic dexterity game. I highly suggest pledging as it's also not a terribly expensive game, and it has my bratty dragon prince Roal as one of the monster cards. (Long story short, I got him in the original Catacombs game and these guys treat their customers super well)
So please, give it a look, the kickstarter ends in like, four days.

TFF Finale

Furry Fiesta
Posted 8 years agoI'm finally heading to Furry Fiesta this year with my absolutely adorable bae. Going to drive up there a day before and get comfortable in the hotel. It's going to be a fun little road trip in the new car, and just overall staying at Dallas is nice in it's own right.
If your going to be at Furry Fiesta, I would love to see all of yah and hang out.
Also, for those wondering about commissions, I haven't forgotten, I'm just taking an absurd amount of time doing that first one and dealing with college and stuff. I promise I will get to them and hopefully get through them faster than this first one.

TAKING STORY COMMISSIONS (ALL SLOTS TAKEN)
Posted 9 years agoI'm officially opening up story commissions, if you want one, please send me a note labeled "November Story Commission -YourNameHere-". In your note, please tell me the general idea of what you would want for your story, fetishes that you'd like to include, and approximate length. From there, we will go ahead and discuss specifics, ideas, and other details.
I will reserve the right to deny accepting the commission, either because content, available time on my part, or length (no hundred page weight gain stories please), or something else. Because of how my creative writing works, my pricing will be somewhat variable as stories will often times go over or under a certain word limit. Shorter stories are easier to manage, so if you ask for something between 1K-3K words, it should be easy to keep it around that length, depending on the prompt. Once it gets longer than that, word count is a bit more difficult to manage.
Prices start at a cent a word, and then past the 5K-6K mark it slowly go's up until it's around 1.5 cents per word.
So, as examples
1,000 = $10
3,000 = $30
5,000 = $60
6,000 = $75-$80
8,000 = $110-$120
The increase in price is mostly because longer stories take exponentially longer to outline, write, and so forth, while shorter stories I can easily do in an afternoon.
Things I wont write: Scat, water sports, human weight gain, and 'straight' air inflation.

I highly suggest giving this awesome RPG a look. It's based on the rule system used in Ironclaw, but with some additional tweaks and changes to make it even more absurdly user friendly. Not to mention the Noir setting gives it a very different tone that is very much welcome to role players like me who are getting a bit board doing the constant fantasy/sci fi RPGs.
Though, there are already 3 separate expansion books coming out soon to add things like a Cthulhu like mythos, an old school sci fi setting (think Fallout before the Fallout, or Buck Rodgers), and even a cheesy B movie expansion.

Almost Lost This Account
Posted 9 years agoNow, there has been a lot of people who are angry at the site and, like me, haven't changed their e-mails to the correct one after how many years and all that. I was like that too and afraid I'd lost this account and so forth.
Still, toss the FA staff an e-mail, they will try and help you out instead of blacklisting it thinking your some hacker like I've heard one or two people say. Now, I'm not defending the site or anything, I'm just saying that sending an e-mail isn't as useless as you might think. If you have other accounts listed on your FA, they might just ask you to send a message from it (In this case, my twitter was used), and bam, they will use the e-mail you sent from and then you just go through the registration process again.
Not saying that this will be the case for everyone, but to at least give these hard working guys and girls a chance at helping you. They are going through hundreds, if not thousands of people, so it might take a while.
I'm giving a shout out to
asianeko who helped me reset the e-mail to a proper one, and I cant thank her enough for it.
Anyway, I'm also slowly be copying my work over to Weasyl, but I was doing this before all this happened. I'm not leaving FA, I'll still be posting on here and responding to notes, I'll just also be on Weasyl as well.

So, 2016 Is A Thing
Posted 9 years agoI'm not going to make any resolutions or anything, but I will attempt to clue some people in on what I'm probably going to be doing over the next year and just overall.
The
lifesupportfatfurs account will be checked on more often. I'll hopefully attempt to update it in the upcoming month and maybe even revamp it. Though I'll at least try and do consistent check ups.
I'll also be posting up more stories and things on top of the usual drawpile sketches. Expect a neat little collaboration project in the near future along with some long delayed stories for friends. The hope is that I'll keep consistently writing these stories, hoping to make them more of a 'thing' on this site instead of posting something up every 5 months of varying quality.
Anyway, cheers to a more productive new year and let old acquaintance be forgot and never brought to mind and all that jazz.

I personally love the Ironclaw RPG series. I've hosted a few campaigns and had a whole lot of fun with the fantasy Ironclaw ruleset
THIS, is a Noir themed version with a very similar ruleset, and stretchgoals opening up possibilities similar to old noir movies.
Go and back this now if you want a simple and fun RPG that you and your friends (Furry and non furry, I even got some normal people to play this and have fun) will have hours of fun.
