Sorry I've been so quiet! I've been busy finishing up school. I graduated with a Bachelors in Wildlife Biology about two weeks ago and am now looking forward to see where life takes me next.

This is brings up my next point. After dating for a number of years,  Narf_1070 and I have officially gotten engaged!

Hey guys,

I'm bored and wanna know something:

How would you describe your character? Give me your best description, including physical description and personality!

As an example, here's my description of Phelan:

"Phelan is a rambunctious little cub. While he is usually very affectionate and quite snuggly, he likes to play and pretend he is the world's greatest super villain. He goes by the name "The Big Bad Woof" whenever he is trying to seem devious.

Phelan has a pair of blue, almost lightning bolt shaped, streaks on either cheek. He also has another blue spiral on his right wrist. The majority of his fur is brown, with a light brown under his chin, his belly, and on the insides of his thighs. The brown and light brown is separated by a line of gray fur that tapers in at his waist, and tapers out just under his armpits. The rim of his ears is black with more gray separating the black and brown. He has black hair which turns into a black streak running down his back. He has deep blue eyes.

He loves to explore and find neat spots outside. He isn't afraid to get dirty, and like most young boys, almost has a skill for it. You can most likely find Phelan outside exploring the wide world of his backyard or inside snuggled up with his blanket."

Hey guys!

So, coming up next month, I will be visiting SLC for about a week for work. I will be busy for most of the morning but will have afternoons/evenings off.

Any of you guys in the area possibly wanna meet up and save me from the boredom of sitting in my hotel room? :D

That's exactly what art is. I love making it, and I'm so happy that I've finally kicked myself into gear to learn how to draw in the first place. BUT IT'S SO MUCH WORK! D:

Sooooooo, I am considering going RainFurrest this year. I'm not 100 percent positive just yet, I still need to work out school and what not.

AC was such a blast, but one con a year just isn't enough for this woof! I really really really really need to see my friends! And fursuiting! I need to go fursuiting! D:

But, if I do end up going, would anyone have floor space for a body or two? I really only need enough room for my body, and my suit. I am very organized and low profile, don't require much space! :D

Hey guys! Summer is going alright, can't wait for it to be done so I can get back to Montana. I am done with work after next week, so I'll be looking for some fun! :3 Any of you Mass furs wanna go hiking or something? Hit me up!

As for art:

I am doing a lot more digital practice recently, so hopefully I'l be posting a lot more (prolly a bad thing lol). But I realize that I need to draw something that isn't baby wolves. So expect some non-Phelan art at some point lol.

I really hope to get better at some point!

What an amazing year!

How do I sum up my experience at this con? It was so incredible, meeting new people, hanging with old friends, fursuiting, and letting other's share the fun. Thank you to everyone who made this possible! I miss you all already!

Thursday - Arrived late in the afternoon at the hotel, very tired, very hungry. Instead of sleeping or eating, I decided that I needed to fursuit for the first time ever! What a blast, despite how tired I was. I seemed to get a good response, lots of people wanted pictures of me! :D

Friday - I hardly left fursuit this entire day! I ran over to opening ceremonies, watched that and then ran right to Con Ops to get a Fursuiter badge. Number 55! Suited around the rest of the day, and hit up a party that night with a whole bunch of people.

Saturday - It was 's birthday!! I had the fursuit parade at 2, and then the Kodi Made photo shoot at 4. Met up with Nova and went out to eat at Tonic. After all was said and done, I spent the rest of the night chasing myself around. I had a few friends fursuiting as me and causing mayhem and confusion in the lobby. Got some cool pics of myself, with myself that I hope to see!

Sunday - Had breakfast with and then headed off to the Fursuit Dance Competition! WHAT....AN....AMAZING....SHOW!!! To all the dancer furs who competed: YOU GUYS WERE TOTALLY AWESOME!!! I am so blown away by the performances this year, I will definitely be looking for those on youtube! X3. After that, ran around for a bit with myself again (had a friend in my suit ;3) Then I met up with and and we ran around crazy. Met up with and headed off to a party, which was later shut down. made me a strong drink by the recommendation of and being the lightweight that I am, I was pretty buzzed by the end of it X3. So followed around giggling and being goofy! (Sorry Howee, I know I was annoying! D: lol)


Oh god, there is so much that I'm leaving out, I wish I could say it all! Sorry to everyone that I didn't get to see, or spend much time with. I love you all! Thank you guys again for making this such an incredible year!

Well, first and foremost, I have a suit to debut! :D But I really need to be with my friends, I need some time to unwind from the stress of everything that's been going on this past year. So, friends mostly! :D

Of course you can! Like I said, I love meeting new people X3. But after awhile, don't be upset if I go my own way, I get really distracted and move around a lot at cons X3.

Sometimes, this is my first con being 21, so there will probably be some bar going and parties.

Fursuit! I have my new fursuit to debut, so there will be a lot of time spent wearing it!

So I got my old job back, and start the 27th. I should get paid about two weeks later, which is the week of AC. Now, there is always the possibility that something can come up and I won't be paid until after AC. I won't know until I am already there.

So my question is: is it worth the risk? Should I still plan on going to AC and hope that I get paid in time?

Well, I've finished my first full year of college. Started out great....finished...not so great. But I'm told it's the hardest year, especially for someone of my age and experience. Absolutely fell in love with biochemistry. I haven't really had much time to draw since the semester came to a close. I am not taking all my markers home, so over the summer you will see lots of digital art! It also occurred to me that I have an entire folder of things I've commission over the years that I seem to have forgotten to upload. So maybe look out for that too...

But now that it's all over, on to the next adventure!!! :D

I didn't get an internship this summer (better luck next time X3). So I am headed back to Boston for the summer. While it's usually more expensive for me to live with my mom (it's a long story), I am really excited to see my cat and my snake. So tomorrow I will be leaving with Ace to Chicago! :D

I've never been to the windy city, so that should be fun. As fun as it would be to hang around and spend a few days with you IL furs, I don't really have a place to stay (or any money X3). So I will be leaving Chicago on Sunday (that's the plan anyways X3). If you guys wanna make plans (and can offer a couch), maybe we can work something out (though, time is a factor lol).

Anyways, leaving Chicago, I will be back in Boston. So all my MA furs better watch out, I'll be itching to hang out!

AC is on the fence. I still plan on trying to go, but it all depends on how much money I can muster up from now until then. So let's just assume I'm going (I have a job back home).

Hmm, other summer plans......Possibly Florida? Possibly DC? The family is planning on it, so maybe I will tag along....or just host some incredible parties at the house (...not really lol).

Anyways....that's basically all I can think to say right now! XD

So a few days ago marked four years that I've been apart of FurAffinity and I felt like it was some milestone worth posting about X3. I just wanted to take a minute to thank all of you for everything. Thank you for the community you've offered, thank you for the friendships, and thank you for your continuing support. In these past four years I have met some really amazing people, had the opportunity to make strong lasting friendships, and really express myself through some truly adorable art. I only hope to continue this trend!

So, my favorite style of art is toony art. Without a doubt. The very first picture I posted under my own account was during my attempts at trying different toony styles. Since then, I've seemed to stray from that style all together.

Thinking about it now, I am considering adding more obviously toony aspects to the things I draw. Bigger feet, more playful and exaggerated expressions, etc. I still am practicing muzzles, adding fur without becoming too fuzzy. I also need to work on shading and coloring, adding backgrounds and having characters interact with their environment and each other.

What do you guys think?

So, I’ve officially been drawing for a month now. Thank you all for continuing to put up with my feeble attempts at art. I know I’m not the best, and I can’t thank you all for your support while I try to do it anyways. All the comments, the faves, they are all fantastic bits of encouragement.

When I finished, and posted, the “Wubbanub” pic, I was severely disappointed in myself and in a pretty down mood. But all the comments really helped raise my mood back up.

It surprises me that I haven’t been banned for sucking so hard, yet X3 lol. But I think I will keep trying to improve, it makes me feel really good that I am drawing for myself instead of commissioning, despite how bad my art is X3.

Hey all!

That time of year is quickly approaching! Spring break is just a couple weeks away (March 31st through April 8th), and while I originally had plans to do some winter backpacking with a friend of mine, it looks like plans have fallen through. I don't really want to spend a whole lot of money on break, but I also really don't wanna spend the whole thing sitting in my room either.

SO! I thought this would be a fun chance to head out west! Here in Western Montana, it is a relatively painless bus ride to most of the west coast. So if any of you West Coast furries wanna put up with a woof for a few days, I'm sure we could have tons of fun! :3

So I had I really strange dream. Almost a nightmare, really.

It started off that I was sitting in a lecture hall looking at a woman wearing all white, with a white latex mask on, the only color on her was her long black hair. She was standing in the front of the class typing on a computer. I turn around to see my chemistry teacher, wearing a wizards outfit and a black latex mask. He chuckled at me and told me "this is the last day of chemistry, I need to pull all the stops and do some real magic. It is also dress up day!"

So he goes around to the class giving random outfits to random people, stops at me, handing me a curly black haired wig, an old world war one helmet, and a deformed latex mask that covers everything but lower jaw. I put it all on, except the helmet, and a woman behind me asks for my attention, so I turn around and look at her. She has a box of periodic tables, colored differently. She tells me that she is runing a charity to benefit herself and could really use a dollar and fifty cents. So I start writing my name on the back of one of the periodic tables, and realize I have no cash on me (all the while my chemistry teacher is standing behind her dressed as a gym teacher now). So I go outside, still wearing the costume, and another guy comes up asking for a dollar and fifty cents.

I tell him that I don't have it, and he leaves, and then my chemistry teacher comes out of the building dressed as Proffesor Xavier, but with a cast on his leg. Then I hear, "Phelan!" and turn to see my friend Ki walking towards me, telling me that we need to go visit Ace in her new house. So I follow her towards this battered old door, she goes through first, but by the time I go through, Ki is gone. I thought to myself that I wished I had a GPS on her, so I knew where she was. But considering there was only one hallway I followed it, going towards the pale pink light at the end.

It led me into another camp, full of people dressed in ragged clothes, and latex masks that covered half their faces. The sky was orange and red, filled with smoke from the fires of bodies they were burning. There were men in business suits locked up in cages. I walked through the maze of fences, into a building without lights. The people seemed very hostile so I left, and decided to go back to school and wait for Ki there. On my way out a man who was perched up ontop of the entrance to the camp said: "Halt! I am the gate keeper to the rebels! I cannot let outsiders leave!" and I said: "But I don't even know where the exit is!" and he said: "You came here, but you can't even remember how to leave? Your life is very sad, now leave my presence!"

So I scurried out, down the hall and back through the door to campus. As soon as I was out of the door, it dawned on me that there was a gaping hole that led into the sewers, and thought that maybe Ki went there. So I went into the dark sewer. I had the option of going left or right, and chose left. I followed that hall down into a bathroom, where there were woman in showers, naked and covered in blood. Their hair stuck to the walls, the didn't move but their eyes followed me. The only one in the room not covered in blood, was a woman without a face, brushing her hair in a mirror.

I hurried out of the bathroom, into a field of pale blue lights, where a red and white birds head statue sat. It had human eyes that rolled around, following my every move. The head said: "Hello Phelan, I am the king god of the Aztec people. I am here to claim you." Next thing I know, its chasing me down a hallway screaming: "Matsupishu! Gonna eat you!" with a childlike excitement. I managed to get back to the bathroom and decided to go down the other hall.

That one led to a flight of stairs, into a house with yellow wallpaper and dark brown wood accents. I climbed the stairs into a room of bath tubs. In the middle bath tub was a family of three, soaking in a thick yellow liquid, that looked almost like chicken noodle soup. They were all naked, except the infant which wore a cloth diaper comically pinned in the front. The infant smiled at me, the woman frowned and looked frightened. The father in the back of the other two looked dead. I watched them as I passed, leading myself into a hallway that led to a window. There was no way out, so I needed to go back. By the time I got into the bathtub room, the father was sitting in the bathtub holding the son, they were both wearing blue striped rompers. The mother was missing. The father smiled and looked at me, saying: "I need to ask you a question..." and I said "NO!!!" and ran out of the house. I woke up shortly after that o..o.

Weird.... lol

Very successful tinychat session, thank you everyone who came. Had lots of fun, hope you all enjoyed my antics!

Alrighty guys! It's that time again!

There is a fur in need of some funding! Gearz is going for Gastric-Bypass Surgery and is trying to raise money for both that, and a charity that helps other do the same.

This is not only a chance to help one person achieve their goals, but hundred of others too. Weight can be a heavy burden on someones self esteem. I think it's great that people want to stand up and help change that for themselves, and help others while doing it. This charity is working to put an end to childhood obesity, and low self esteems nationwide!

Pass the word around and lets get this charity rolling!

I am in need of some suggestions...I have gotten myself into a bind (sort of). I need a descent to good non-babyfur reference sheet >..<. Something that points out all of the details that people usually get wrong with my character. My problem is that I need it kind of soon, like, end of this month soon. Anyone have any suggestions? D:

While we were in the woods, Ace brought up a really cool idea! How awesome would it be to have like a weekend retreat for fursuiters?! We could rent a cabin, or a condo or something for a period of time, and everyone could just come and have a good time relaxing and suiting in the mountains! I did something similar to this in New Hampshire and it was a blast!
