Posted 2 years agoso I'm trying to find an artist that I discovered a few years back. I cannot remember their username - and it looks like they purged ALL THEIR STUFF from FA. they had a bunch of transgender cowgirls - like anthro cows - and they drew some nice feet. anybody know what I'm talking about?

Posted 5 years agoi find it really funny the fetish community has suddenly become various shades of right-wing - pawfeather's pro-Comicsgate, the MGTOW has been a MGTOW for a minute, a certain somebody got radicalized from watching a jordan peterson video, etc.
they must be like "oh no, anita sarkeesian's trying to take away our foot drawings," but more than likely, they're just digging in their heels because they can't get away with drawing Toph Beifong fetish art without somebody calling them out because, fuck, she's 12 in the specific design (ATLA, not her metalbending police or old-lady designs from TLOK) they commonly use
also every time they claim to age up somebody, you know it's a super-flimsy excuse just to bypass mods

Posted 5 years agoI'm the dude who called the Red Hot Chili Peppers "Super Duper Group" in part of a picture, drew Felix Argyle not in his canon wardrobe, based a fetish pic on an inbetween of a guy turning into a mama bear, made an OC out of an Oxy, made a fetish picture where Catra doesn't show her feet (but a Gem and a raptor gijinka do) because I am sick and tired of seeing Catra feet art (and I shouldn't be, I actually love SPOP and how thought-provoking its themes are), and gave legs to a naga that didn't want them in the first place.

Posted 5 years agoi'm waiting for the moment Roarey finds out the people he's been defending the rights of - namely nationalists, white-power people, very hard conservatives and all - are screwing him over so hard that there's no way that he'll be able to get back his sense of normalcy. and of course the MGTOW sides with him in the whole "I'm gonna get booted off Twitter because of the feminism" bet because why not.
like I remember when he had a spat with SaintBlue/Zonk over SB giving him some critique on how he draws paws.

Posted 5 years agoBlack Power? You mean black supremacists/Hotepists? Or do you mean people who express pan-African pride while not trying to murder people?
Also Antifa - even "punch in the face" Antifa - aims to only squash fascism. It's in the name. And like it or not, but people like Richard Spencer and Jordan Peterson spread fascist beliefs. Stuff like "nationalism is good," "Christian values make the most sense," "only people who have their shit together can speak up," "queer people are weird," etc.
You've been gaslit by Peterson. Get help.
But every time I point out where you've gone wrong, you come back and accuse me of a litany of things. Things like "I'm blind to the truth" or "I'm deliberately making bad arguments" or blah blah blah.
We're in the midst of a pandemic that's finally getting contained that was spread easily by fascist-sympathetic people ignoring the problem. It's not so much China's fault at this point as much as it's us saying that it's no big deal, that it'll go away in the summer, that we don't have to cancel anything, etc. And because we don't want any accountability, people have whined when somebody states that calling COVID "the Wuhan flu" might reek of very convenient racist sentiment towards Chinese people (implying they're dirty and barbaric) rather than it being a stick-it-to-the-man moment to the Chinese government. People are arguing over that, Allan. People are protesting social distancing methods.
Of course there's people expressing support for Antifa. Fascist-sympathetics have gotten us in this mess, put us all in a goddamn stasis pod and left to deal with their problems. Why not get mad, maybe change the world?
It'll be scary as hell when the world changes eventually, but trust in the right people - with ideologies that aim to better humanity as a whole and not just people who watched lectures from the Maps of Meaning guy about how the government is mandating gender queerness (apparently from a bill addendum that counts LGBT and gender nonconforming people as a protected class in the same way people of color, disabled people, women, and religious minorities are) - and it'll be okay, Allan. It'll be okay. It'll be okay.
Please don't equate antifascist activists and the Black Power pop cultural movement with Nazis.

Updates
Posted 7 years agoUpdate #1: new name. We're not Lesbian Concentrate anymore - we're Monaural! I chose the name for easier marketing, especially to family and more prudish friends. And besides, the shock value of being named after a collection of lesbian separatist folk songs has worn off.
Update #2: I'd like some money, kind sirs. That's why I've joined for the glorified tip jar service, Ko-fi.
ko-fi.com/liebermintz
Update #3: Bekowsky's been retooled so hard, I'm not even sure I can call it Bekowsky anymore. It's instead become:
Shaking Hands with Modern Man, a Kevin & Kell-themed concept album written around the question of "what if Rudy Dewclaw wrote Rumours by Fleetwood Mac?" It's a smidge profane - i.e. three instances of high-level profanity on one song, entirely during the coda - but otherwise safe enough for a teenager. It's a hard-ish PG-13 or a really, really light R as far as albums are concerned. After all, Bill's material isn't exactly adult in that jugular sense. And like Mercy Machine before it, it fits nicely in a 45-minute package! It's 90% done - outside of some vocal collabs from the guy who's singing for Bruno and some final mixing, I'm done with the instrumentals.
"But wait," you may ask, "in your prior journals you mentioned that Bekowsky was a double album. If Shaking Hands is a single album, where are the other songs?"
That's where this next one comes in:
Zeddemore is the album after Shaking Hands. Right now, I'm demoing selections for the album alongside repurposing and remixing songs from Bekowsky that couldn't fit the Shaking Hands concept, but I do have a set of videos in queue to be uploaded to both YouTube and my Facebook fan page. Right now, it's looking to be a single album - albeit with some room here and there - but I'll record a little more than usual and put the scraps from this, Shaking Hands and whatever's left from the Bekowsky sessions into a B-sides album. Nothing as poorly mixed and balanced as Swish - I'm re-recording "Isolation" for Zeddemore - but a higher standard altogether. Basically, the Hebrew National of B-sides comps.
And yeah, I named that album after Winston, the best Ghostbuster.

Update on the new album (to anybody reading this)
Posted 8 years agoI'm still trying to mix the thing so that it sounds good on my car stereo. I want the drums to punch, but I also want the bass to really punch. I'm slowly but surely getting there - and so far, it sounds better than my original mixes. I want every song to sound like it can play on the radio without it sounding like it was ripped from the radio onto a shitty cassette.
I have one more track to record - "Motion," about the Midnight Rider accident - and from there I'm finished with tracking the thing. Now all I need to do is remix, punch up the songs, recut some vocals, add some midrange to my guitars, pay the $89 to publish the songs, give them ISRCs and put them onto about every streaming service known to man. In a month's time, you too can listen to songs about whatever I want to write about on any given day and, gee, you may be pop stars, each and every one of you.
"But wait," you may but may not ask, "how are you going to promote an album if nobody's heard of you?" With that, I want to propose looking into getting music videos done for the album alongside pushing out a single - probably today, probably later this week (depending on how I feel about this hot new mix of the single I feel like pushing out). I also want to get album art done - not the cover, no. I whipped that up based on looking at some Howard Finster sacred art and depicted me and my partner-in-crime, the guy from |-| 3 (( |< (pronounced Heck), in that style. I'll probably do a back cover and then look into having people illustrate a lyrics sheet/gatefold.
And speaking of wildly ambitious things I probably won't do, I'm seeing into opening a Kickstarter for a very limited run of vinyls. Those little discs that play sound? Yeah, you can get private pressings - that's how the stockbroker dude with the warbly voice got his album out. Of course Light in the Attic made him into a celebrity - and he turned down their money because he's either too rich or he doesn't like money, I dunno, I'm getting mixed signals, Lewis/Randy - but still, a private pressing wouldn't be too bad. It'd all be 120 gram because I can't tell the fucking difference between 180g and 120g on my lower high-end turntable - hell, my copies of Rocks and Chicago VII outshine my 180g pressings of No Depression and Bleach (but are outshined by my copy of Nirvana's Nevermind) - and I'd have to do a lot of configuring so that my second disc - which, right now, clocks in at 24 minutes a side - actually gets pressed. Either way, this is a double album and I'm sticking to it. I could've stuck to a single disc like Mercy Machine, but fuck it, you know? Bloated double albums are where it's at. Shame I couldn't get Mike Judge to do Beavis and Butt-head skits in between randomly selected songs.
(real talk: I actually kinda liked Speedin' Bullet 2 Heaven despite those skits)
To clarify:
- Bekowsky needs a tad more mixing
- "Motion" needs to be recorded
- the sequencing needs to be finalized for better vinyl side flow
- the songs need to be published and put onto iTunes, Amazon mp3, Tidal, Spotify and my Bandcamp (where you can buy it for $12 in a hi-res version)
- I need to do a back cover and commission artists to do a gatefold
- look into making music videos
- probably press vinyl, I know there's an audience for this
