another update + twitter
General | Posted 5 months agowow, can you believe it? another update about my radio silence! TwT
as i've mentioned before, my living situation is not exactly ideal. however, over the next two months, i'll be moving out! in the time i'm going to spend recovering from, frankly, a very long time spent becoming increasingly traumatized for various reasons, i plan to spend my time drawing far more often, finally getting to engage in my favourite and most passionately enjoyed hobby, so hopefully i'll have more to upload once i'm out of here!
additionally, i've finally created a twitter account! phobiamachine of course. it's very new but feel free to follow as i begin to upload my backlog and some newer stuff! thank you to anyone reading and anyone who enjoys what i make. i'm very, very happy to say i'll be making far more art in the future. byebye for now <3

General | Posted 10 months agohello again! thanks so much for all the interest on the YCH! i've had a really great time drawing for you and i'm really happy to have gained more experience in the process. the paw YCH is probably going to remain open perpetually, and i actually might set up an option for it on the commissions tab if i can figure out how to make that work -w-
as for other updates, i'll be making a carrd site (or similar) soon that contains a more thorough TOS, a gallery with some art examples and what a similar piece would cost, and links to all of my socials-- including my picarto, on which i hope to start streaming soon!
lastly, i just want to thank you all for your watches and favourites. i know i'm still starting small but it makes me really happy to know there are people out there who enjoy what i make! as always, feel free to leave suggestions or ideas in shouts, or message me directly here or on discord. i'll be winding down a little now after finishing that last YCH slot, but expect some new work soon, including a fresh face to the gallery... after all, hanging out in the digital world is no fun without a little trouble~ >:3

brief update
General | Posted a year agohey everyone, just wanted to let you know about where i've been. i've had a piece ready to post for a while now (aside from my halloween doodle), but it has an accompanying piece which is essentially another character's pov. that piece is just barely not complete, but a few days ago, when i went to finish it up, i discovered my wacom tablet cord had finally bitten the dust. thankfully, i've got another one coming in the mail which should be here on friday, which is hopefully when both pieces should be uploaded. thank you all for your patience. <3
absence/return/giving thanks
General | Posted a year agohi everyone, just wanted to come make a journal with two main items on the agenda-- an apology and explanation for my absence, and a thanks for the attention my art has gotten.
i started this account something like two months ago now, a stretch of time which feels somehow both far too long and far too short to believe. i won't go into particularly personal details of my life here, but in short, my living situation is a little weird and precarious, and being rather mentally ill, it usually means that a lot of the time, i retreat from the spaces i inhabit online in order to focus on self-maintenance. i apologize for the lack of updates in the last month, but i hope to sort of get back into the swing of things now that a particularly large event in my life, for which i've had to wait and prepare for years, is over. thank you for being patient.
on that note, thank you all very much for your favourites, comments, and watches. it means so much to me that this little corner of the internet i've carved out for myself has been enough to reach at least a few folks out there who appreciate my work. i hope to meet and surpass all of your expectations going forward. i also hope to finally begin streaming art, which will include taking requests and rambling about whatever's caught my attention lately and making conversation with viewers. if that's your thing, be sure to keep an eye out for any announcements i make regarding this in the future. additionally, for trade requests, commission inquiries, or any sort of suggestions, please always feel free to reach out via private message, leaving a shout on my profile, or by contacting me on my discord, which shares its username with this account.
