I just had my first shift at my new job today- and I have another Tomorrow morning from 9-5

Posted 11 years agoI usually dont like asking for help but I really need it right now.
For those who dont know I was made to leave my job (on sick leave) due to the gm being mentally abusive, and due to my workplace becoming a toxic environment for me to work in, on reccomendation of my doctor. When I went back after a few weeks to get my hours back as I was promised by the head manager upon my return, said gm refused due to a theft situation in the store.
Im looking for a job currently, and im also taking comissions and selling some of my things in order to get some money, but I still need some help.
I still need 250$ I know thats a lot but its what I still need to pay my rent and one of my bills. speaking of buisness though I am open for comissions immediately,
for those who dont know ive recently lost my job due to poor management skills and abusive behaviour from my boss leading me throuh the labour board and through systematic release (dropping my hours from 37 to 12) so I really need to pay my bills and rent; bringing me here to open shop again!
I'll be doing pay what you want simple comissions (chibis or simple lines)
full lines with details etc for 10 + 3 per character
Pinups also 10
colouring + simple background for 20+5 per character
ponies as 5 per pony
aaaaand im now offering 5$ grab bag comissions! Itll be a surprise style bust, trying out different inking or colouring techniques!
As always I do adult and most subjects!

After tinkering and uninstalling and reinstalling then uninstalling and reinstalling some more
I FINALLY FIXED THE DAMN TABLET. AND FOUND UPDATED DRIVERS
THIS IS GOOD.
STILL CAN'T GET THE WACOM TO WORK BUT FUCK THAT GUY.

So for those of you who don't know (I.E. all of you) My store is now under new management and they have me working 11- 9 shifts. I leave here at 9 to be able to get there on time and usually don't get home till about 10:30- 11
so i've been a bit busy with work and I'm sorry.
I'm fighting with my tablet- I need to reinstall the drivers. Luckily! I have Wednesday evening off and will be able to do that then

I couldn't get the Bamboo to work. I called and I did everything they told me and no pen pressure.
So I'm currently using the pen from a different tablet on my Monoprice- and lo and behold! Pen pressure!
So as soon as I have sai (for those who are waiting on commissions from me) or can figure out how to work Fire Alpaca (in some way) I can work on commissions (with any luck this will be by tomorrow)

I need to use it as my other pen has broken and I'll need to find myself a new one or just use this tablet here

On Friday when I come home from work I'll be taking super quick commissions (i'll be working on the others during the week stay tumnes)
THIS MEANS:
Chibis! Will be half price so 3$ for the regular ones 5$ for lineless
Lineart (only one character with a simple background) will be 7$
And bottle icons will be 3$
i'll be posting another journal- I'm just giving a heads up!
