I don't get my psychiatrist sometimes... (ASD Trigger)

I cant get my life-saving Invega shot without dealing with the BS though--which sucks. Only Psychiatrists can prescribe that.
And no Psychiatrist in Ontario is gonna do any better then her sadly...
This is fucking why I want MAID sometimes (I shift between that and being Don Quixote). Psychiatry can do nothing but make me a drooling incontinent invalid. Or a knife weilding maniac when I finally crack under the pressure of no treatment at all.
Either way I continue to suffer from my disabilities that are neither recognized nor are accommodations funded properly in my country and that may meet the legal criteria set by the Supreme Court of Canada.

ODSP is now digging into paypal records--just another CON
General | Posted 4 years agonot that anyone cares but this is the only platform i have to speak where I wont be sued so I will discuss this here. Its pretty much TLDR unless you are interested in disability politics.
Just skip this really if my rants about my items of local significance me make you mad

Looking for hidden sources of income via that "starvation company" from the US again in a pilot project.
This looks like it could head to the courts over pay-pal's terms of service and donor privacy. Especially if the "UK ASD Suicide Causer" is marking it wrong as "income". Besides I see a lot of #ODSP recipients losing access to pay-pal as what the Government of Ontario is doing may violate PayPals terms of service as well.
(I'm not a licensed attorney though so this is just legal rend).
In reality though their spending $3000 to look for $50 -100 a month maybe? (under 1000 a year?) That could be probably argued as a "charitable donation" (meaning a 6000 yearly allowance for vs a dollar for dollar deduction) at thesoon to be disbanded by the current Ontario Government Social Benefits Tribunal.

All in the efforts of shaving off pennies from the government dime and on the the backs of "The People" (Doug Ford has said he wants charities and municipalities to cover more of the "cost of social assistance" and "life stabilization" then they are though--so this action doesn't surprise me).
Yeah he wants people to beg for more money so he can take those proceeds off their url=https://twitter.com/search?q=%23ODSP&src=typed_query stipends
Don't believe me? check out the #ODSP hashtag from twitter at the number of "social capitalists" who rely on crowdfunding to get their groceries.
In reality though If you are receiving money through it it PayPal has an obligation to collect your Social Insurance Number from you(or ban you from using the service) and they report ALL money received to Revenue Canada (this includes monthly amortized statements if you have A GST number[ https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-ag.....er-charge.html ] like ODSP requires you to -- https://www.mcss.gov.on.ca/document.....port/5_4.pdf).
Yes... like a Credit Card or your bank account, they have 100% access to every single itemized transaction from CRA at the push of a button. THEY DONT NEED FUCKING SCREEN SHOTS ITS JUST TO KEEP YOU HONEST.
(Its a part of the loss of autonomy you have when you sign up for #ODSP)
They don't need to see your PayPal at all to gather the information right as its a wallet and not an account. Unless they wanna go after the donors or payees themselves...
Asking for 6-12 months of papal statements beyond their privilege is just an unnecessary power grab and makes the program more complex/expensive to administer...
Not simpler....
I guess this is what the CONservatives do. Lie out their assess because they want all disabled people do die a horrible death in this province.

“Clients will have to access income supports through the province, ‘life stabilization’ supports through municipalities, and employment services through a new provider that could very well be a private corporation overseeing a patchwork of employment services providers.”
That “life stabilization” system, Mason said, is part of the Ford government’s efforts to develop a new “intake system.”
“This new intake system contains many red flags especially for people with disabilities,” Mason said. “Intake workers are being compelled to stream disabled applicants towards ‘life stabilization’ services and away from ODSP, in an effort to cauterize caseload numbers. We have already heard of such instances from folks within our community.”
“The UK model, which the province appears to be emulating,” Mason said “includes the traumatic Work Capability Assessment (WCA), which is conducted by companies such as Atos and Maximus and has led to terrible outcomes for people with disabilities, including a disturbing number of suicides.”
So the company in the UK that is responsible for all the ASD suicides in the UK https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-ne.....-dead-20080050 is coming to Ontario to 'recommend everyone on ODSP go through an eligibility work assessment as a condition of benefits' is gonna cut everyone who is "Asperger/level 2 ASD" or higher off of our support and lead us into the hole that is "life stabilization". Dough ford and his party already believe too many mentally ill are illegitimately receiving benefits (and need to have enough pills shoved down their throats to cure them) so this ideal is looking like it is going to become official provincial policy.
This province already leaves us in no mans land to be poisoned by DRs who don't know what ASD is enough as it is and refuse to look at case notes more then 5 years old.
I know personally as persona-non-grata in my city among agencies and employers "stabilization" is not possible under my finances or in this locale. And only a single 1974 case gives me any legal ability to get any financial support at all.
- I cannot count on family for financial or material support--though ODSP may make me sue my family. No one is gonna hire me in this shitty city no matter what I do unless its a below minimum wage (training wage) or they get a big fat paycheck from Doug Ford. even then its basically being child-ed like an invalid while mopping floors 15 hours a week. (oh yeah that's in the hands of a private contractor who doesn't "shelter" people anymore)
- I have no local friends capable of such support nor do i want to burden them.
- I have documented hand eye coordination issues so anything requiring "speed and precision" is a no go for me. basically anything physical will just mean me going to a judge to argue neurology details or being called "lazy' instead of avoiding 4th degree burns and messing up a 500 dollar pot of soup. Lets not even mention what hell hospitality is (and its the only damn "entry level" type of work here unless you commit employment fraud and speak french).
- I went bankrupt with active student loans [b]SO I WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO RECEIVE STUDENT LOANS AGAIN/b] leaving out most "brain based jobs". There is nothing in this province that is available otherwise to pay for me to have a REAL diploma degree or certificate in anything. Unless we do the "study or starve" thing like before I left the institution when i was 16.
- They don't know how to diagnose me properly so my mental health is only gong to be trashed by this company that doesn't seem to honor human rights accommodations right. My doctor refuses to give me a one criteria diagnosis and these idiots don't care about anything else.
All I can do is wait and see what the policy and legislation becomes. But it is mostly likely meaning I am going to have to move to Manitoba or BC to get my needs met.
Though that will most likely mean a legal endorsement and a few months to a year homeless in that new province to get a disability pension.

Level up to 444 (months that is)
General | Posted 4 years agoAnd another year passes for me. Its my birthday again and Its time to journal my life. Things are pretty "meh" right now but it is what it is. Maybe at some point in the near future Ill have an opportunity to increase my happiness again as it has not been really that great these days.
More emotionally stable? Maybe... but with COVID still raging (and i think its "endemic" now and we will never be rid of it) my life remains stagnant while political forces here in Ontario and Canada threaten what little security I have. I have no idea what to even do with myself these days but loaf around and help my aging parents until they go into long-term care.
Thankfully Online censorship has been delayed due to the change in government, and a more "socially aware" minister has been put in at Heritage Canada. So the chances of a "balkanized" Canadian internet with authoritarian principles is lower now then before.
Though as long as Doug Ford remains in Charge of Ontario I still have the risk of being forced to martyr myself to work (when I am permanently unemployable as no one locally wants to hire me) -- less I lose my ODSP pension. This may also be worsened by the fact huge inflation has halved my grocery buying power to the point 250 dollars isn't enough for food anymore. Thanks to Covid I have no money for anything, not even socks, clothes, or computer components its all going to grocheries and horrendously priced internet. I don't need assistance beyond what I get, nor would i really qualify with how much I have left after bills, but I haven't been to a restaurant in over a year for example. I haven't seen or purchased a movie in over 5 and last time I bought something that wasn't "bare essential" was this past Easter as well. I wont even be able to buy Christmas presents for anyone as it looks now less I cut my groceries in half for December...
Oh and yes. My new landlord cut us off from free internet to the building. We have to pay our own--In a country that has some of the most expensive net in the G8.
There is a spring election though so we may change to a provincial government that supports a 2000 a month Universal Basic income (from 1169 on ODSP currently). Not likely with Ford's population rankings but its fun to dream.
Ive lost 6 inches off my waist and am down to a 46" waist (was 52" inch last year at this time) Though my doctor wants to put me back on the med that made me gain so much weight (70 pounds in 2 years) because "I'm too stressed". Someday I hope to be able to drop below 40" so I don't have to order all my clothes off of someone else's' credit card online. Only one store in my city carries my size and they are beyond what I can afford. And forget about clothing banks as they only go up to size 38... maybe...
I need to measure my weight though as my fat is either going to my hips or Its disappearing. My working out has built alot of muscle too--nothing burns fat like a weekly pounding of stationary biking for 30min @ 9.3 m/s speed & 6.1 resistance lol.
Ive ran into a few conflicts too. But so far so good I guess. Ive gained more happiness socially then I have lost really.
Here is to another 12 levels I guess....

Northern Lights.
General | Posted 4 years agoKp Index is predicted to go above 7 tomorrow night which means a G3 level geomagnetic storm is happening. Its only S1/R2 level radiation/radio blackouts too so it wont be too severe for infrastructure or radio stuff.
https://www.swpc.noaa.gov/noaa-scales-explanation
Anything above a 'Kp6' means most of the northern contiguous US and Canada can see the northern lights tomorrow midnight to early morning UT (pending its clear enough). Aurora Forecast for tomorrow night wont be up until the morning though so I don't know probabilities. sometimes if bright enough too the Northern lights CAN be seen in the early evening (it has happened before)--for the ADT people as this peaks about 5 or 6pm for you
I want to link to the REAL info so People can get a good grasp on the "real" deal. Sometimes mass media isn't really good at being accurate or prompt about the "details" even though NOAA and others spend millions of dollars a year simplifying and monitoring it (plus there are like 12-14 satellites between L1 and L3-L5 monitoring things). Its a good site to visit if you are ever interested in knowing the "real deal" -- much like people watch radar for terrestrial weather.
https://www.swpc.noaa.gov/communiti.....er-enthusiasts -- The most recent Aural forecast(ran every 12 hours) is on the page as well.

General | Posted 4 years agoI forgot how many cuddly people are my friends on here. Even if FA isnt "in" anymore and twitter is a sea of piranhas that will eat my bloody body in 15 seconds and 90,000 tweets. I still have people to snuggle. I am in a dark unproductive spot right now so that level of support made me feel ALOT better and in more of a postion to prepare for project Winnipeg and some constitutionally guaranteed independence funds. Sadly my current source ODSP is not such a thing and my access can easily be removed by overbearing government ideology.
(Every public agency's Tom, Dick, and Jane in the province will sue me for opening my sad mouth like i did here yesterday. So FA will be my only place to stay until it dies. Then either i cease to exist online, Not even "blogger" wants my OHRT rend and i cant afford my own hosting anymore like i did with the "Aspie Army" many moons ago)
(or the old titain Koios falls and I'm left with no communication device for 15 years)
All of you made me feel cuddly while i shared my rapini and beans with friends^^ ...instead of meat with meanies!
Im gunna stop shining my light into my face now --and burning ants with my magnifing glass
Imma go sleep with my pikachu plush.

Canada Votes today.
General | Posted 4 years agoFellow Canadians as annoying as it is to have a snap election like this it is what it is.
Please be courageous and understanding--and while follow the safety rules today please go out and have your voice heard.
The will of the people is a very powerful and valuable treasure of a democracy and it will not be valid unless as many voices are heard as possible.
Goof luck and have a good day

General | Posted 4 years agoMy apartment changed hands at the beginning of August. The landlord decided to do management himself. That was fun in itself switching my autopay and subsidy over.
They cancelled my net right after my big drop in funds (around the 15th) so Ive been without internet since mid August. Other then leeching off of a bingo sign and the local timmies. Spent alot of time dealing with my parents too.
I spent 2 weeks preparing for and one week in a vacation to the Bruce Peninsula. I had internet but not much so i mainly spend it on discord when i could keepin' in contact with friends. Vacation was stressful but I had a good time. Some amazing beaches and photos of the Escarpment (Hello Lion's Head Beach O.o) and Bruce Peninsula National Park but the water was crappy and i broke out in a heat rash from it. I got a cool sunset photo as well on our last day but it has people who do not want to be identified by this group in it so sadly I cannot share.
Thanks to you know who and the rest of you for the small boost. I was able to purchase a good used modem from a local furrend and the remaining money set up my internet for this month (As I had talked about in chat I wanted to wait till after vacation to get net set up)
Im paying 67 CAD for 40/10 cable internet with no limit on usage--which is middle of the road here. Its a nasty expense for me but what can I do.
It just went active as I write this journal.
Hopefully I still have enough people to hang and cuddle with to make it worth it hehe.
While I did have some internet connection I did miss some peeps so its good to be back

Update on Canadian Internet Censorship.
General | Posted 4 years agoBill C10 as it is now has been stalled in the Senate at the moment while the other half of our parliament chews on the communistic idea. With the session close looming (Aug 18) time is running out for the bill to be passed and signed into law. The Bill will have to restart during the next session from scratch.
There is a good chance that the NDP/Liberal collation will be undone and this Minority Stalemate will cease triggering an election. (it would have already but we had a Pendemic and no one wants to campaign carrying hand-sanitizer while being marked by the beast) The pandemic is ending and thus the "unholy left alliance" will finally end. Thankfully our Conservative Blue is not really that bad and itll likely be a Blue-Orange minority (instead of Red-Orange) until big blue shifts to the center enough to run a country properly.
Will see what happens though.
The heritage department has released its communistic goals for internet regulation here: This is the overarching policy goals of Heritage Canada in its internet censorship plans. Essentially its a whishlist that completely removes commercial interest from the internet completely and replaces it with communistic ideals straight out of liberation theology.
https://www.canada.ca/en/canadian-h.....rinciples.html
Some of it is good but some of it is not. In theory it works but the internet has always followed the money more than it has idealism. And money tends to go for extremes and excesses as well as anything goes.
It is also non-binding which means people can choose not to follow it.
Does this mean blocking content that is not signatory or routing around it. or is it implicit and competitive with ideals of other elements.
This approach is very "canadian" indeed (and many view it as government regulating speech again) but does our Closed circuit highly regulated "broadcasting system"--to the points of fonts and speech patterns--have the capability to fine 5 figures to each individual (or a company for each violation) every time there is a dispute about "content fairness or accessibility (like what recently happened with an artist.) Will it have stopped me from being made by a court to delete my twitter in 2009 and effectively exit myself from most of the baby-fur fandom? (with legal threats from canadian courts if i go back?)
(if that kind of material will even be acceptable in the future)
Ill wait to see. It is a double-edged sword that will cleave the internet and people will go out of their way to avoid anything they dont agree with. Even if it means a police beating and broken ribs.
Good luck into forcing the incumbents to build more fibre(the spelling error is a license violation) to disadvantaged "redlined" communities with easement restrictions (why i cant get FTTH where I live even though i live in a major city) or is this just lip service to something that'll be subject to the whims of government propaganda like the original Canadian Content Regulations were in the 50s

while i belive in some community efforts the internet has largely been built by private hands with private money aside from 6 original computers designed to handle classified research information.
It is not a government enterprise.
YOu cannot force 2 companys to interconnect if they do not want to. You have to pay for the privlidge (and no govermnents gunna pay for it)
You can not tell a private enterprise what its for profit private model can and cannot do
You cannot tell a company that it can only sell national brands and national carriers when there are only 3 media choice for most people in the country.
you cannot force a company to create content against its will without funding it. This isnt traditional broadcasting anymore.
If the goverment wants a national internet and media policy like this in the digital age then you CANNOT do it on the free will of others.
Either pay for it yourself and have a national ISP and culture commission like a respressive regime does.
Or you make a slush fund that everyone pays into.
And if you think you can proxy out of this read this,...
We recommend that the existing licensing regime in the Broadcasting Act be accompanied by a registration regime. This would require a person carrying on a media content undertaking by means of the Internet to register unless otherwise exempt. Those carrying on a media content undertaking by means other than the Internet would continue to require a licence unless otherwise exempt.
To ensure that Canadians are able to make informed choices and that Canadian content has sufficient visibility and is easy to find on the services that Canadians use, we recommend that the CRTC impose discoverability obligations on all audio or audiovisual entertainment media content undertakings, as it deems appropriate, including:
catalogue or exhibition requirements;
prominence obligations;
the obligation to offer Canadian media content choices; and
transparency requirements, notably that companies be transparent with the CRTC regarding how their algorithms operate, including audit requirements.
We recommend that the CRTC use its power to collect information and obtain consumption data from online media content undertakings and publish them in aggregated form.
We recommend that to promote the discoverability of Canadian news content, the CRTC impose the following requirements, as appropriate, on media aggregation and media sharing undertakings:
links to the websites of Canadian sources of accurate, trusted, and reliable sources of news with a view to ensuring a diversity of voices; and
prominence rules to ensure visibility and access to such sources of news.
76. We recommend that the Broadcasting Act be amended to ensure that the CRTC can — by regulation, condition of licence, or condition of registration — impose reporting requirements, including with respect to financial information, consumption data, and technological processes such as algorithms, on all media content undertakings.
77. We recommend that to strengthen the compliance regime for both licences and registrations, the Broadcasting Act be amended to include provisions for Administrative Monetary Penalties, similar to the general scheme in the Telecommunications Act, with maximum thresholds set at a level high enough to create a deterrent for foreign undertakings.
78. We recommend that to address piracy, sections 9 and 10 of the Radiocommunication Act — which state that it is an offence to decode, retransmit, or operate devices, equipment, or components to receive unlawfully decrypted subscription programs — be moved to the Broadcasting Act and be expanded to include all forms of media content, whether received through satellites or the Internet.
Any internet company that even serves media {PROXY PROVIDER} has to be registered or liscenced to operate a physical server in the country.
all the interconnect points are broadcastors too and subject to canadian content filtering.
THIS IS THE GREAT CANADIAN FIREWALL. Its far easier to filter at the incomming points of anational broadband network and have one single point of control then to regulate the thousands of private peering points with heavy red tape and burdensome consumption and ip logs.
either that or put the responsibility on the isp and not the content providers to filter commerical content appropriately.
Just do what china does already and stop with the lube im allergic to it

Canada wants to block furaffinity and social media...

User generated content consists of sites ranging from reddit to YouTube to Places like Fur affinity, Inkbunny (which has enough illegal material under Canadian Law to get you surgically castrated) and the like.
Pretty much anything you say or do online will subject you to a "broadcasting license" and "regulations". Essentially you will become a "broadcaster" and subject to the same rules as a TV or Radio Station as an individual. You will be subject to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_content or face Jail, internet bans, or fines. This goes especially if you host a user-gernerated site (just about any artist with a gallery that doesn't block Canadians at this point) and you are Canadian you will be hauled in front of a disciplinary committee at the CTRC.
https://crtc.gc.ca/eng/home-accueil.htm
That pretty much means most furry sites will have to block or "Geo-fence" Canadians for Canadians only like China does and Canada may have to DNS block and "Wall garden the internet" (like it does for TV and radio).
Im services that do file transfers would also have to block Canadians as well because of "regulations".

Officers will no longer have the right to stop any pedestrian or driver to ask why they're out or request their home address, Solicitor General Sylvia Jones said in a written statement on Saturday evening.
Instead, she said, police will only be able to stop people who they have reason to believe are participating in an "organized public event or social gathering."
As the number of people infected with COVID-19 in hospital reached record levels, Ford tweeted that another of the measures would also be reversed.
"Ontario’s enhanced restrictions were always intended to stop large gatherings where spread can happen," Ford said. "Our regulations will be amended to allow playgrounds, but gatherings outside will still be enforced."
So the Police now can only question on "suspicion" of going to a "social activity" with most police refusing to spend the resources at all (which could be overruled by the Ministry of the Attorney General).
It still makes for a scary time because we will still have profiling and "carding" depending on the local biases. We also have blocks at inter-provincial travel as well. I'm not near a provincial border though so this doesn't effect me.
https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toro.....t-do-1.5991941
Glad to see there still is some legal recourse left in this province. Doug Ford has already shut down the OHRT and appeals tribunals for many things so at least this still works.

Outdoor gatherings with people outside a person's household will be prohibited, effective 12:01 a.m. Saturday.
Effective 12:01 a.m. Monday, capacity at religious gatherings, weddings and funerals will be limited to 10 people. Also beginning Monday, Ford said, there will be checkpoints at provincial borders with Quebec and Manitoba with exceptions for essential travel.
Police will also have the authority to ask anyone outside their residence to indicate their purpose for leaving home and provide their address. That includes stopping vehicles and potentially issuing tickets of approximately $750.
combine this with the other measures active now and we are pretty much at the point where there is nothing left to be shut down.
We are screwed....
I'm still risking it for my taxes though.

Ontario is going "Martial Law"
General | Posted 4 years agohttps://www.cp24.com/news/are-covid.....know-1.5389135
Or one step towards its existence...
(Martial law doesn't exactly exist in Canada because of how the divisions between military and civilian institutions are divided, because we can call upon the military to enforce domestic law at any time unlike in the US or other similar countries.)
We're getting a curfew and the power of police to detain and question anyone on sight for no reason. That means you can get fined for leaving your house without an approved reason. Under the Reopening Ontario Act
The mass potential jailing (or seizures of properties) of people who wont pay their "Ontario Reopening Act Fines" that are gonna stem from this bullshit... (if the courts ever get through the backlog of ~15 million repeat offenders)
...yeah
Yet it ain't gonna stop a virus that doesn't seem to be responding to current quarantine efforts and has moved on to more "delicious" young and healthy people-- instead of embarrassing the Local long term care system and killing off lots of old and frail people.
Modelling suggests that our system will be overwhelmed in ICU beds to the point we have to ration ventilators (Like in Italy in April of 2020 I believe) in 4 weeks.
I have my thoughts related to things that are not appropriate for this site thanks to circumstantial evidence...
[...]
Something else to think about too...
With Ontario Digital ID making your identification your phone (the nfc chip in it which are how similar systems work in other countries) going to completely and Manditorily replace our plastic cards in the next 6 months to a year...
(I don't have ~400 dollars for an NFC capable phone)

My taxes are gonna be late because I cant print them out and im not allowed to go visit my dad to get them done. They have to be in by APR 30 and can neither afford the $120 in printer ink or obtain printer ink as it is "not an essential good"
A PRINTED COPY of my tax return is necessary because I am in CONSTANT contact with Revenue Canada and they verify by box numbers on your most recent (this year's) return. Mail right now is not accessible and i would have to wait 2 weeks to paper verify every time i call them or log in.(The beast again -.-)
I only have $9 to my name at this point so booking a proper appointment with H+R CROOK is impossible.
I'm going to lose 1200 dollars from next years budget because of it.
(Or I risk a $768 dollar fine by visiting my mom dad during "emergency measures")

Aunt Anne is commin for your bitcoins folks. Uncle Sam and others are next.
Income gained from "legal investments" is taxed at 50% here in Canada as a capital gain (it adds to your taxable income in whatever bracket)
Your country may be next.
You cant be buying your quad 1500 dollar GPUs anymore from your tax evasion schemes anymore because of your tax hit..
This is why i don't invest at all.... I cant take the income OR tax hi thanks to ODSP rules. Not unless i can COMPLETELY REPLACE my $1100 a month with $2500 to cover my meds and loss of subsidies...

Before its easier to die with a disability in this country then it is to get a job. though then again its pretty much the same for the whole planet. Especially with my combo.
The government is going to study the "system" for 2 years to determine how many structural failures there are pushing people like me into MAID instead of actually fixing society but I don't expect much to happen.
But will see.
Remember there isn't much treatment for me nor is there really any funding for counseling (not that it can fixed fucked up hands or slow brains) or accommodation (developmentally disabled people of which i am not get 90% wage subsidies) but at least they can come up with something.
Who knows maybe this "commission" in terms of saving people from medically killing themselves may be able to fix some of the failures of canadian society in fixing its failures of disabled people.
If not then I guess we will be seeing euthanasia vans rolling down the street in the next 5-10 years killing off those who have concluded their "suffering is intolerable" and the government "isn't responsible for their care anymore"

Yeah..
and I wonder why i have people from CSIS chasing me all the damn time for potential criminal activity. The shit my provincial government does ought to be a crime against humanity.
Being locked up in a forensic hospital for the rest of my life may be better then the shit I'm dealing with now that's for sure.
At least I haven't chosen MAID yet.

And something else to think about

Imagi9ne having an AI screen you out of jobs because it cant recognize your High IQ or the fact your personality is INTJ.
In fact these programs are DESIGNED AGAINST INTJ because we are human computers that show little emotion at all. The poor system identifies us as soon-to-be serial killers with lots of things to hide. You cant really fake anything as INTJ and the computer programs are NEVER going to get out of that bias.
It takes away the need for an expensive and long 450 question Myer-Briggs paper test though. (your only given a half hour for a test that takes three times that.)
Combine them with poor hand-eye coordination and my social issues with ASD and its pretty much vocationally unfeasible. Not to mention i cant medically drive, have nothing but high school completed (Ive been pretty much told at this point to lie about my 2 years of unfinished university), Have little or no work experience, and of course im a old human computer with personality code INTJs).
(and intks are usually unemployable anyways statistically)
On and yeah I have no access to any real training programs due to me not being ellgilbe for OSAP. OSAP is of course the pre-requisite and only governmental funding program in Canada. (Each province has its own)
I just hope the province forces me to work. OR my Psychiatrist. Then shits gonna have to get real if she continues pushing me to get blood out of a stone

Just to clear the record.
General | Posted 5 years agoI know my government right now is acting like an idiot with the whole "MAiD" debate and its turning out to be a really stupid shift to the extreme right (for a country that is usually left of American politics) but it doesn't mean that I agree with the solution.
I have no intention of harming myself or ending my life beyond natural causes and i have no intent on not fighting where I can for what I believe in or feel. I may not be able to contribute much anymore but this doesn't mean I feel like ending it all or taking it out on myself.
This is something that has taken years and years to finally accept and not freak out all the time over. AT least for now my time in the fandom and the tolerance of my issues has allowed me to grow a lot more wise and comfortable with myself.
...I guess it is what it is...
I'm just at a point right now where i don't know what to do or where to talk about my stuff without being sued, beaten up, de-platformed, banned or otherwise ridiculed in a very charged and volatile social media market. And therapy is expensive without it being covered by OHIP.
I'm also struggling to find a way to contribute to society and it is making me very depressed.
Im also been pretty lonely as of late and Covid has really made it obvious....

General | Posted 5 years agoYeah....
May as well come out and say it before I get chipped and have to swear an oath to the devil known as the "Ontario Constitution".
That or starve to death like this crazy #FordFail wants me to do.
Ive updated my profile information to reflect my current situation.
Lets not mention if my situation goes anymore south their gonna either put a gun in my elderly parents' face again (demanding they provide support they cant even find for themselves) or offer me MAID. And/or throw me in a nursing home and wait for me to rot. (my best guess is that if they cant afford ODSP improvements they ain't gonna keep a useless aspie around any longer then they have to)
Something is wrong when its easier to get MEDICALLY ASSISTED DEATH then it is to live a decent life. Especially when you are permanently unemployable.
Remember they do this in Europe too where there is no such thing as "welfare" or "disability pensions". Its the perfect answer to austerity and a lack of a decent social net.

telegram is losing its lustre.
General | Posted 5 years agoSince its the most popular among furries for its "security" and "private chats". Especially babyfurs. No one wants corrupt government officials spreading personal babyfur information to right winged hate groups. We have always needed a high security playground anyways.
Get ready for disgusting porn ads in babyfur and furry channels. And corrupted virus spreading ad servers in others. Plus pay to use features as well of who knows... I barely use i as I don't know enough people or places to to for stuff anyways and mostly use discord which has its own problems.
https://www.engadget.com/telegram-c.....192249765.html
Also here is something to look at:
(its actually pretty shitty on security tbh)
I think there is going to be another exodus soon to a new chat client. {Discord is worse then telegram for its issues (and privacy) as well as censorship and it carries greater risk to its "unique groups" like babyfurs.}
This is a pretty good list of all that's available right now....
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compa.....ure_messengers
Signal is even recommended by the EFF for anti-surveillance and "security" means... Plus you have self-destructing images....
https://ssd.eff.org/en/module/how-u.....signal-android (you can run multiple connections on the same account too but no web interface--removing a potential vector)
I see Element and Signal looking pretty good for obscurity right now. At least until they gain massive numbers and falter too. Wonder how long it'll be before I have to retire Discord and Telegram like I did yahoo and skype/msn.
Once again the GNU Linux multiclients lead... in both

streaming is dead...
General | Posted 5 years agohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgmzS0RxyWA sony et all is just as bad...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A7Tq3U2B3r8 -- you can go to jail for commissioning fan art and streaming it (I have an authors credit thankfully)
I guess fan art in general is next?
who knows.
'
Streaming was easy money for a while but like with everything it has to be made impossible and ruined by greed legalia and megacorps.
