I have decided that instead of expensively shipping my quite old, quite busted PC tower back home, I'm going to just bite the bullet and buy a new one.
I will be back online hopefully in about 2-3 weeks once all the parts arrive and the jolteon of my family puts it together for me.
Once its online, I can probably do art again!

If you've been keeping up you've probably seen I've been on quite the journey lately. I moved out, had my graphics card break, and on the fifth, the DAY after my birthday, I'm moving BACK HOME. (already!)

I'll spare y'all the details but some financial blows caused my roommate to not be able to support me anymore. We may try again next year, they'd just need to land a good job and save up enough to prevent something like this from happening again.

With my roommate taking their GPU back, I'll be without one unless it can be repaired or replaced, I'll let you guys know how that develops, but that may get in the way of me making new pieces for the time being...which...sucks ><

At least I have my birthday on the 4th to look forward to...! I don't really have any plans, what with me moving again the day after, maybe I'll treat myself to a nice dinner or something.

But yeah, just thought I'd keep you guys updated as to whats going on and why art may be slow until further notice, thanks for being patient with me through all of this mess.

Even though the old banner was barely a year old, my art has changed so much since that I was due for an upgrade. It's a lot like the old banner, just much less visually noisy, and with a more up-to-date Jeni drawing. Let me know what y'all think!

It's probably no surprise that I would love Christmas, and all the wintry, yummy goodness that comes with it~ so I wish y'all a safe and happy one~
This year has been a lot, and I hope y'all are doing okay.
I was working on a Christmas comic, but it was quite big in scope, with many panels of fully rendered shots with backgrounds, so I wasn't able to get around to completing it in time.
I may still post it at some point, even if it'd be very late. so very late...
I wanna say I'm really happy with where my art's been going this year, I like to think I've been improving steadily, and am excited to see what 2025 brings.
I really appreciate all the comments and such, and even if I don't respond to every one, I do still read them all! It makes my chilly glacey self feel all warm and fuzzy knowing others out there like my silly scribbles.

Bun Jeni: Well, I may have gone to healing magic school partly so I could carry my weight around with less discomfort...so I'm certainly not ashamed of it. Beats dieting any day.
Glace Jeni: It's hard not to get self conscious when the fire department has to yet again be called to free me from the pet flap. With the right care, though? I don't mind being fat~

Bun Jeni: Healing magic! Typically clients will come over to my place, and I'll soothe aching muscles, minor cuts and scrapes, cure ailments, clean out your blood plaque, that sort of thing. It's a really precise process that involves my mind, body, and soul all working in tandem to pull off well, and it took YEARS to learn. But it gets me food money~

Glace Jeni: See, my owner says I've received "warnings" from "local authorities" specifically telling me not to dynamax, I'm trying to convince them to let me do so on Christmas so I can use blizzard and guarantee a white Christmas, but I haven't heard back...In short, i dunno~! Might be fun to try in the future...

Glace Jeni: Yes.

Glace Jeni: There's something about that tummy dragging on the ground size that's just really great...If I'm getting that chubby, it's probably because I'm being helped along, and spoiled quite a bit. And, at that point, movement is enough of a chore that I can shamelessly have my owner use my luxury ball to move me further than the length of a room~

I've been going back and forth for months on whether to change my Glaceon's color palette. It's not a huge adjustment, but after bouncing it off of dozens of my friends, the opinion was near-unanimous that the new one is nicer, and I'm inclined to agree!
I've gone ahead and retroactively updated the four most recent glace pieces. I hope y'all like the new, if not too different, colors as much as me!
