I have launched my PATREON!!
Posted 3 years agoLink: https://www.patreon.com/thepimpartist
Hi, friends! Hope this journal finds you well!
I’ve been in the furry fandom doing commissions since 2017, but I always felt a bit lacking since I wasn’t doing any art for myself. Moreover I always wanted to try animating my drawings in Spine, but never got around to it.
Thus I created my own Patreon! It will contain illustrations and animations of some of my favorite characters, my OCs as well as commissions!
TERM 1 IS ALREADY CREATED AND UP!!
Term 1: Gazelle (Zootopia), Lola (Space Jam), Rarity - human version (MLP), Ahri (LoL)
Each term contains 4 Characters, illustrated and animated, with SFW and NSFW versions
For just $6 get INSTANT ACCESS to:
Term 1 animations and illustrations
Future animations and illustrations
WIP and exclusive Patreon posts and updates
Polls for next characters
I also have a Mentor Tier, for those wanting to learn from me, and a King Tier, for animation commissions!
Hope to see you there! Thank you everyone for your continued support!
Gumroad: https://thepimpartist.gumroad.com/
All my links: https://linktr.ee/thepimpartist
PS: I am and will still be open for regular commissions, check out my newest price sheet on my profile.

Twitch streaming? Please comment!
Posted 5 years agoWould you guys be interested in me doing some Twitch streaming?
I was thinking that I could be drawing whatever you guys request live and take the sketch as far as I can within 60 minutes for $10-12, nsfw included. You would then of course have access to the jpeg files :)
Would that be something you guys would be interested in? If yes please also comment below what time interval is most convenient for you (include EST, PST etc.), if you find it too expensive, etc

My first year working for the furry community - Thank you!!!
Posted 7 years agoOn Sept 28 I celebrated a full year freelancing for you guys! It's been an amazing time, and I just wanted to take a moment to reminisce and express my gratitude to this amazing community!
Let's start from the beginning - in Sept 2017 I had been without a job for more than 6 months and I was rejected from the game studios I applied to in August. My portfolio at the time had my WW1 Doggos project as its centerpiece, along with some 3d projects and concept art and illustration examples. The furry community had always been a backup option for me - I knew about it, liked it, and in college animals were one of my favorite subject to draw and paint! I started posting my doggos daily on the furry sites, hoping someone would be interested. I made myself a price sheet. A week later I posted them all, and no commission requests, no e-mails, nothing... Here I was, 1 year after finishing Art School, fired from my first job, and nobody was interested in my stuff... What would the future hold for me? How would I be able to pay for my expenses? I was seriously suicidal, feeling that I've wasted my youth chasing after a ridiculous pipe dream - and I didn't even have enough to leave behind to cover the expenses for a modest funeral...
But after I went to sleep, I woke up to find not one, but TWO notes on my furaffinity account - both interested in commissioning me! You would not believe my elation at that point! I was literally jumping for joy! What surprised me was that, since then, I've had a continuous stream of commissions and there was always someone in my queue! I got to learn a lot, I became faster, more experienced, learned new techniques and drew a lot! With saving, I managed to buy the gear I always dreamed of - a 27-inch Cintiq, I got to travel and even had a bit left over after that. I can't even compare the peace of mind I have right now to the hell I was in just a year ago!
And it was all thanks to you! I mostly wanted to write this journal to say thank you, thank you, THANK YOU a thousand times to my commissioners, who made all of this possible! It's been an honour to work for you guys and I hope you were satisfied with the pieces I made for you. I also want to say thank you to everybody who faved, shared and commented on my pieces and to those who recommended me to their friends! You guys make me feel less lonely and also help me with promotion, which, as a single individual, sure is tough! The gratitude I feel is immense and the furry community is one of the friendliest, most welcoming places I've ever seen!
As for what comes next - I have a rough road map in my head, which I'll share it with you guys:
- My far-off plan (~2 years) is to be able to illustrate for clients like Paizo and MTG - which is why I'll also be working towards creating a decent portfolio in that direction as well
- Even if I get better paying gigs, my furry commissions will always stay open - you guys were there for me in my darkest hour and I'll definitely continue to be part of this community
- I will also start offering physical products - oil paintings being one of them. I was actually trained as an oil painter so pet portraits are a likely candidate for this. If you'll want an oil painting of your fursona... sure, why not!
- I will offer a new type of commission - flat color with visible linework - for a more affordable price than my current ones.
- I will try my hand at streaming, either now or in early 2019. The idea is that you can donate, hire me outright to draw anything you want for an hour etc. I will be talking during the streams but not show my face (for now) so we'll see how entertaining that is.
- In 2019, I'll try to be present at least at the Eurofurence and maybe another convention. I will be meeting you guys, selling prints&merch, and doing on-the spot traditional commissions!
That's about it! Thank you for reading this, thanks again for being a part of my life and if you got this far, I would also love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

Terms of Service
Posted 7 years agoHere are the terms, conditions, as well as your rights, when commissioning me:
1. Payment
a. To reserve a spot in my queue, you need to pay at least 50% of the total price in advance. However, if your commission’s total price is less than 100 USD, I take payment in full only.
b. If you choose to only pay half first, you have two options:
o You can pay the other half before or while I start working on your commission. This means that we can then communicate freely with full resolution final images.
o You can choose to only pay the rest after you’re satisfied with the final version. In this case, I will only send you watermarked images with a max size of 1000x1000px. You can then ask for revisions on these images. You will receive the full resolution, no-watermark version only after you’ve completed your payment.
c. I treat every order as a personal commission, unless stated otherwise, and price it accordingly. If you want to use my work commercially, such as use it as a logo, use it on a brochure/poster, sell prints etc. you need to let me know beforehand since the price structure is different.
d. Payment is done through Paypal at: thepimpartist[at]gmail.com or pimpartistry[at]gmail.com
2. The Queue
a. 95% of the time I have a queue. It also tends to stay at a relatively constant size. What this means for you, if you believe my queue is long right now, is that waiting until “my queue gets smaller” is never a good idea.
b. The moment I receive your payment, your spot will be reserved, and I will communicate 2 dates: the approximate start date and the approximate delivery date.
c. I ask you to be understanding of any events that crop up in my life and make me delay your delivery. However, my maximum delay ever was 3 days from the original delivery date.
3. Revisions
a. All subsequent revisions you might need are included in the price
b. This is to ensure that you leave a satisfied customer and that there’s less risk to you in commissioning me
c. However, if this clause is abused, (eg: The customer is asking for revisions asked are so constant, numerous and detailed, they take more than the time for the original piece) I reserve the right to refund half the total price if they paid in full and cancel that commission.
4. WIPs
a. It is your right as a customer to ask for WIPs at any point if you want them. Just make sure to ask, since I rarely send them of my own accord!
b. Please do not ask for WIPs before your start date comes up.
c. Any WIP will be sent at the end of the working day, so you have ample time to respond.
d. As such, you can only ask for WIPs if your commission takes longer than 1 day to make. Commissions that cost 50 USD and less are generally completed within one day and you can only ask for revisions at the end.
e. Personally, I prefer to do any revisions at the end. To me, seeing the work in its sketchy, messy form, can take out a bit of the magic of the fully finished piece.
5. Cancelling and Refunds
a. If you cancel your commission before I start working on it, you will receive a full refund
b. If you cancel your commission after I’ve already started working on it, I will keep half of the total price and refund the rest.
c. If you are completely dissatisfied with the way the final piece looks, and no amount of revisions can fix it, I will keep half of the total price and refund the rest.
6. Your rights
a. As a commissioner, you have the right to remain anonymous when I post my work.
b. You have the right to post my work anywhere you like
c. You can post my work without crediting me as the author, but you cannot pass it as your work.
d. You have the right to print my work. This also applies to putting it on mugs, keychains, turning it into a badge, putting it on garments etc. You, however, do not have the right to use my work commercially (eg: sell it for profit) unless stated and agreed on beforehand.
7. My rights
a. I always retain authorship over all my work.
b. I reserve the right to promote my work. This means that I can post it on social media and present it at conventions as my own.
c. I reserve the right to present my work in my portfolio when searching and applying for jobs.
d. I reserve the right to print my work.

Small prices update
Posted 7 years agoHey guys! Hope you're all doing well!
This is an update that won't really affect that many people since most of my commissions are either for a single full body or a single color portrait. Those prices have remained unchanged.
However, I've done small adjustments to some prices and most of it pertains to the price of "extra" portraits, fullbodies etc in the same image/commission. I've done this to better reflect the time and effort spent on those types of commissions.
Here are the new prices:
B&W portraits - 25 USD for the first (unchanged), 20 USD for any one extra in the same commission
Full color portraits - 45 USD for the the first (unchanged) , 35 USD for any one extra in the same commission
Half bodies - 70 USD for the first, 45 USD for any one extra in the same commission
Full bodies - 95 USD for the first (unchanged), 65 USD for any one extra in the same commission
You can check out the new price sheet here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/24829037/
I honestly hope I haven't derailed any of your guys' plans to commission me, but to me at least, this price update was long overdue.
Thank you so much for reading! Have a wonderful day ^^ !

PRICES UPDATE! From 4$ to 14$ OFF
Posted 8 years agoHello, dear friends!
Since I am going to also offer animations in the future (in the style of this one - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/25264296/), I though I might offer a discount of at least 4$ for each of my other prices. Addons are also cheaper now! In the process, the biggest discount went to the half-body commission which is now 14$ cheaper! Here's the new and updated price list: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/24829037/
So, if you ever thought about commissioning me with a historical/military or just a regular piece, now is probably the best time to do it :D ! Thanks for checking this out!
