Okay, here's the thing: I wanna practice drawing chocobos. x3 Not the usual Final Fantasy ones, but something similar the the chibi-ish ones in the Chocobo Dungeon series. I'll admit it, I'm a fan. They're just abnormally cute and awesome at the same time to me. I don't get it, but I love 'em.

I can't remember who, but there was somebody doing customized Bobombs on request, so I figured maybe that would help me get practice with this. So here's the deal: on each of my art sites, I'm gonna make custom chocobos for the first two to respond to my journals, making a total of 6. Figure that should give me enough practice. If this goes well, we start this again and those first six'll be put in the final collab I'm thinking of. (It's a surprise.)

I am going to try to get this done within the next two weeks, maybe sooner if my schedules stay lenient; but all the same, you who know me know I take forever anyways. So anybody I'm doing this for, if you feel I'm slacking off, nag, nag, NAG. It's okay! Call it...support! DO EET! xD

Okie, I'm aware my activity has been a little scarce as of late, and I got a few reasons for that. First up, school and work were and will be kinda harsh this quarter. I go in every weekday again and the hours are anything but consistent, so that's gonna result in absences and shorter nights at home. Sorry about that. D:

Another reason is I finally am able to play the crapload outta my DS anywhere I want. Between that, Alchera, and Mabinogi, my hands have pretty much been tied, so that's why I haven't gotten too much work done. Actually, I DO have some things to share; but I found out an interesting little thing about my scanner - it and its drivers are not compatible with Vista! DX

If they are, I've yet to find the right driver, but it's pissing me off. Some good news to counter this is that Latte-luv mailed me a late Christmas present. I got my very own tablet now! YAY! And of course I've been using it, but I don't have anything worth showing yet. It's kind of hard to get art to work right when my habit has always been to make sketchy lines and work with them. Practice makes perfect though, right? So I'll post up some stuff soon. Maybe even the clumsy experiments. x3

Oh yes, and back to my DS - who here's got a DS and Wi-Fi? We need to talk. >:D

I have an art desk, but without a chair to use for it, all it's become is a spot to put random junk. D:

I keep all my art supplies in a black bag that was originally for my old laptop. I call it my Woobie. Well, I didn't always. My mom pointed out how I always carry it around with me like a kid does a teddy bear. It's old and beat up now too just like a favorite toy of a child, so Wooby stuck.

4.) Is your art space decorated?

Nah. Unless you count the junk piled on it. x3

5.) What would you say the usual state of your art space is?

Messy, and on a good day, a little space'll be open where I can actually use it.

Okay, so turns out we had to get a new computer altogether. It wasn't the monitor, but the desktop that was fried. Yesterday, we got a Gateway from Office Depot. The thing literally blew up in a hour after being plugged in for no reason whatsoever. Not only that, but it got one of our CDs stuck in it. And if you tell me it was because of the CD, I'ma slap you. XD

So we returned it, they have to break the thing apart to get our disc out, and we bought a HP from Wal-Mart. Bad choice, especially with Vista running on it, but we's desperate. Worry about the details later...

But yeah, in case this one decides to explode in another hour, I'm back, this weekend really did suck, and now if you'll excuse me, I gotta get everything I actually do have backed up onto here. I got a few commissions and such for upload (thankfully I saved them elsewhere), so when I'm done I'll be back. PRAY THIS THING DOESN'T SELF-DESTRUCT TOO. Really though, what is it with me and spontaneously combusting computers? This is the third time it's happened, twice in less than two days. D:

The monitor blew up on my computer, so now I'm down to this hand-me-down one that 's useless for about anything but net-surfing. So sorry folks, no art from me for a while, and unless I can talk to you over AIM or MSN, or any of my sites, you won't be hearing from me until I get a new monitor, or God willing, a new computer altogether. I'll try to keep in touch.

I so need to stop procrastinating. So that's two commissions, a birthday gift, and 2...3...4 giftartses I gotta finish. Birthday gift needs to be done by tomorrow. Draft work for a brochure design needs to be done by tomorrow. Typography journal that I'll no way in hell have done by tomorrow needs to be done by tomorrow. Grawr. This is gonna be a fun night. Anybody who reads this and sees me later, tell me to GTFOff whatever I'm doing and get to 'effin' work. Who knows, you might get something out of it depending on how effective you are. XD

Okai, so...recently, Latte showed me this anime called Spice & Wolf. Now...fairy tale stuff, I don't normally get into; but this was just awesome. The artwork was beautiful, the characters were original and amazing (as far as my knowledge goes about anime stuff. I mean, how many main characters out there are just simple merchants and stay that way through the story?).

Anyway, I was watching it on Youtube, cuz I'm cheap like that and can't buy the anime. But then there was a problem that made me wanna cry - there were no episodes past 8. And I'm not just talking about no subtitled or dubbed stuff. NOTHING. Nada. Zilch.

Would anybody know where I could find the rest of it? I'm just dying to know the rest of the story. 8 ends on such a suspenseful note. DX

Seriously though, it's how I'm feeling right now. For the past week I've been pretty sick. Just yesterday I was recovering, and now I've gone and caught a cold. The medicine I took ain't helping either. Throat's feeling worse than it did this morning.

I'm pretty beat. School's been tough, home's been tough, and through it all I've been too stubborn to sleep because I wanted some free time between things. And I forgot other important stuff til the last minute. Like doing my laundry. For some reason, I never seem to remember until I'm down to risking having to wear my PJs outdoors the next day. That's my fault there, but what I wouldn't do for there to be at least 2 more hours in a day. I haven't gotten more than 3 hours of sleep, even on nights when I try to turn in early. 5 or 6 is what I doze for regularly unless I'm just being too lazy to get outta bed. Then it jumps up to 12 or 13 hours of sleep (which has become a very rare thing lately. c.c )

Something's gotta give in this though. I need another holiday already or something. It's only been a week and already I'm trudging about, people are staring at me wondering if I'm depressed or not, I'm grouching and complaining to people (JUST LIKE NOW!!!), I feel like I got one foot in the grave already, my head aches, my nose too, my throat, back's sore, feet're killin' me, fingers are froze under this AC even though they're moving like crazy to type this...blah.

...okay, getting all that out made me feel a little better. Sorry people. X3;;;
