There's too many things I regret. Many of them are equal in severity, and thusly I cannot think of one to pick.

I wasn't under the impression that I was part of the Pathfinders Totem Deck Project until I was e-mailed.. asking where my card was.

Because I had been avoiding Livejournal for some time in order to read the last Harry Potter book unspoiled.. I apparently missed the deadline, and missed the fact that I was even part of the project at all!!!

Now, I feel like a complete tool. THANKFULLY I have been given an extension, and I have two days off after tonight. So.. as a result, I must set aside finishing my commissions so I can cram all of my time into getting this totem card done. Arrgh!

I have like.. four watercolor paintings I want to sell. (three are posted on here, and one is yet unfinished.)

Now, I have used Furbid to sell stuff in the past, and i am not particularly -unfond- of it, but I want to know if there is anything else out there that might be as good, or better. I don't want to end up selling my hard work for peanuts. (I do like peanuts, but they fail to buy me shiny things.)

I was reduced to hysterical laughter within my kitchen, moments ago, because of my own stupidity.

For the past week since returning home, I have wondered, endlessly, why I cannot stay awake during the day. Why.. have I been so tired? Was it anemia? Was I trying to recover, still, from my trip to Minnesota? Was it lack of sleep, or restless sleep?

I was about to brew my daily cup of coffee. On a whim, I glance upon the label.. and the answer to this enigma was given in one single word: "Decaffeinated".

Yep! Today, I turn 26. I'm starting to feel old.. because I have realized that most of my artist-friends in the fandom.. are.. well, much younger than I am. (and most, who are, are much better artists than me, too.. the bastads.)

Either way; WOO! I love mah birthday. It's.. uhm... just like every other day, cept sometimes people give me stuff!! :D

Because I have been... horribly sick with food poisoning, and horribly bored because I have been bound to the house.. I have created... ART!

Problem is.. I have no scanner at the parent's house (and I think Kinkos frowns at the sight of naked boobies.. I dunno.) so I don't believe anyone will be seeing them for a week or so, yet.

Where have I been?!

I've been posting art like a mad woman (well, for me, anyway) because I was trying to finish up my commissions before I flew down to the beautiful Land Of Lakes to visit family.

This doesn't mean I won't be working on more art. Oh, no. In fact, I likely will be working on art, still..but I really have no means of scanning it at the moment, so I won't have much to show until I return.

So.. anyone on my friends list from Minnesota? Any of you feel like.. getting together for a little artjam in some nice, quiet public area out from under the noses of unartistic furs who might seek free art?

I have no muse. This has been going on since February. It needs to stop. But HOW?

I am so sad.

I will force myself to commissions today, and see if I can get that artistic juice flowing again. :(

There is a vacant lot down the street from my house. It wasn't always vacant. A family once lived there with their dogs, and their kids. They were dirty people who didn't upkeep their yard. It was filled with junk and cars, and more junk. Amidst this junk was the most beautiful wild red plum tree I have ever seen in my life.

It was huge. It positively radiated life. Every spring, when it bloomed, I could smell it when I walked by, and smile..feeling good for just a moment, even if I was depressed and tired. It's scent was so relaxing and nice..I often whispered my thanks for the brief cheer up.

When the people moved out of the house, the land got bought up by some developers. They trashed the house, dragged the debris out of the yard, and knocked over the beautiful plum tree.. leaving it to die and rot.

This afternoon, I walked by the vacant lot. I turned my head, and I saw that tree.. laying on it's side, a disaster that will never know what it is like to bare fruit again.. erupted into a full bloom of beautiful white flowers.

It made me so sad.
