Posted 17 years agoAlright, alright... I'm sorry I was gone for evars. I am. Really! First I was neglectful, then my PC died, then I had to have it fixed, and my ibook is too old to scroll. I love the scroll. I are a scroll whore. Man does that macbook air look hott!
Anyway, I'm back, and I've been decimating the 3k+ submissions I've had... It's the journals that are the worst, so I thought I'd share the pain a little.
I've uploaded and will continue to upload the NON FURRY OMG wet-plate collodion images I've been creating. I'm in love with this process, and want to buy a focas camera and an old brass lens and set up shop!
Since you've been out of the loop, let me fill you in. In 5 days, I will be withdrawn from my college. I will be moving home in a week to sulk, keep unhuman hours and work at a supermarket.

This is about the movie, "After Life" which we watched in class this evening.
There are spoilers contained within this journal, but please read it and respond if you are willing. Thank you.
This movie suggests a version of the after life where you (peacefully) find yourself (on a Monday) in this warehouse/townhouse building. If you've ever seen the conference lodge on Thompson's Island in the harbor, it looks like that to me. Anyway, you get sent into a waiting room/sitting room area, then called into a private room and hear basically this speech:
As you know, you died [yesterday]. You have three days (until Wednesday) to select one of your memories from your life. The staff here will do what we can to reproduce your memory on film. There will be a screening on Saturday. Once you see your memory, you will go on and take only that memory with you.
The question is, what memory would you chose? I'm supposed to do a photo project based on this movie, picking a memory and using 6-8 photos to represent it... Yeah. So not easy.
also, i need to reshoot my fear project based on how seriously one girl took hers. thats all ill say here on that.

But now, to be back at college, and be older. At college. Older at college. It's not like BLS... I'm like... really getting old now. I know, you all that are older than me are rolling your eyes, but I can see change, and feel totally different. I could stop classes and just work. I could make a family. It's terrifying. Posted 18 years agoLet's see... I've got FA down to 64 messages, which is quite good compared to where it was last night. It's been way too long since I've stayed at my mate's house... since Tuesday I think. Uggg.
AC is killing me. I really tried to go, but I have jury duty and mom wont let me put it off again. I don't want your advice on this; I can't avoid it. No, I can't tell them I'm racist. It's grand jury duty, so it works different.
Today's my first day of work. I need to go buy lunch and find a good way to ship my little clay pot thing. Oy.
So far 19 seems to be rather lack-luster. PortCon was fun, but I haven't really been able to celebrate. There aren't that many opportunities. Mate's busy Friday, and that was the best opportunity. I'm going to be really upset when he's enroute to AC for my favorite holiday. I've seriously spent the last half dozen 7/4's wishing I had someone like him to spend it with. But they're leaving earlier than I expected. It's all priorities, and mine's fireworks. Ah well, you can't get everything, and there's always next year.

Pirate_chick69 has been my name for... oh I don't even know. My first SN was kiwi_chick13, and I had other SNs that used 14 and 16, none of which were from when I was that age, btw. I guess I started identifying more and more as a pirate, and I was horny, so yeah... pc69 was born.

A few of my friends were on it already, and I drew my friend Scurry a picture for his silly contest.

I bet they would make a mean stew if I ever get out of here. Being in here reminds me of the time I was inside my mother and got borne.
