Meeting heros!
Posted 14 years agoOk.. not so much heroes.... more like people who one looks up to. I always wanted to meet Jay Naylor from Original Life and Gen from Little tales. But I worry about meet people I admire... what if they are disappointing... mean even... maybe, it'll be better to assume that they're super awesome people who encourage others to be awesome like them. Yup, that it.

Why does it seem that the people who are the most interested in politics can't frickin think for themselves? (Note: not everyone) While taking some facebook poll, some random guy sits right next to me and ask me what I thought about the president. Before I even answer, the frickin idiot starts rant about "Magical Obama Miracle" and how hes saving the environment, cash for cluckers (Ya that was a real nice idea, I saw people scraping perfecting good cars because they wanted the next best thing. Tell you what, don't scrap them. Take the top 50% of the them and sell them cheap to people can't afford car payments. But in all honesty the people really got the raw deal was the dealerships. Repeated cases show that the 3 billion bucks didn't cover all or even near the cars people traded in. Guess who took the bill for that one... That's right the dealerships nut Obama dream team or the government).
My reply was, First thing the president isn't the only one coming up with these ideas and it isn't like he just wakes up and goes I want to make some laws and bam their they are. While there may be some loophole in the system, the president still has to go though a good deal of people for a bill to even be thought about being passed. (Unless they do the smart thing like Bill and pass 21,000 laws before they leave office) I then told him I never cared for one president or another, each having served their office under different times and situations so its hard to compare any two. Most times any goals a presidents has does really have a big impact until hes long out of officer. If we don't live in a 3rd world country in 2016ish then I'll give Obama a golden star. Till then he sits right along side with Bill and Bush.
Apparently I'm not only an ignorant gun toting bush loving oppressor but I'm holding back our country's "change" with my negative views and unwillingness to "change"
Tell you what, break down the whole Dem vs Rep. And maybe, just maybe we can drop all the "us vs them" bullshit and start solving the frickin real problems
