Well its been a sick September, I spent the first week with some kind of flu and im spending the last week with a cold. It hasn't been very good for getting art done I tell you!!

Current commissions are ongoing, albeit a little slowed while my brain is soup. Next commission opening will not be on the first as usual but there will still be October comms when I'm ready.

It's not even the cat's fault this time!
But it is a hassle. My drawing tablet has been acting up the last week and it got particularly bad today. After troubleshooting today it looks like it might be an issue with the tablet itself. Please bear with me as I work on figuring out if I need to get a fresh replacement or find a working backup.

A little postponement on the next commission opening ^^ Gotta finish some things up before I'm ready!

Heads up! Postponing May's commission opening till the 5th.

Lost a week of commission work last week between my monitor breaking/ laptop deciding to die completely so I need a little more time to finish things up :3

My little rascal of a cat broke my laptop screen yesterday night. In her begging for attention, she nudged my screen closed (though I'd left a mouse on the keyboard) and then stood ontop of it while my attention was elsewhere. It's got a pretty good crack in it from the mouse now. I finally got a working backup monitor to carry me through a few days until I can get a replacement screen in. ToT

Alas, I always underestimate the chaos of the holiday season. Along with winter storms causing a few power outages here n there, I'm going to be working on doing some catch up and personal projects for January instead of doing a full commission opening. I might be doing some in stream commission openings later on in the month, so keep your eyes peeled!

Hey everyone,
Just when it felt like I was getting back on track and catching up on everything I had a sudden gallbladder attack the other day and ended up needing it removed. 🙃 So, post op now. In some pain but home and tryna stay comfortable. Just going to focus on recovery for a bit and get back to art when I'm feeling better.

Lil update here!

Hand is doing better, but healing slower than I'd like still. I've gone from maybe only doing one hour before my hand starts acting up to several, but it also means getting anything done still takes awhile.

Next commission opening TBA, but maybe not for another couple months. Between healing up and having a bunch of extra hours at work for summer tourism season I can't quite commit to taking on any larger projects at this time! When I'm feeling more confident that my hand can take it I might do some quick in stream stuff though.

Art fight? No idea what I'm doing about it this year :')

Hey guys!

So, unfortunately, yeah. Got another repeated stress injury last week and being the person I am, I kept saying “I’ll just take it slow today!” and then still ended up drawing for at least several hours a day. Low and behold, it’s been a week with no improvement and a lot of soreness. So I gotta actually force myself to slow down and give my hand the rest it needs to start healing up. This post on the matter is part of that, to let you all know what’s up and try to keep myself to it xD

Along with that I won’t be having my usual 1st of the month commission opening next week to extend the current commission batch’s deadline. If my hand is feeling better in another week or so I may be doing some in-stream commissions or similar small batches instead to try and not push my hand too hard for a while.

In the meantime, I need to find another hobby or play some video games to help keep me from drawing so much. >.>

Honestly this was pretty short notice, we've been going back and forth on whether or not me and Adzain would be going at all this year, but found ourselves booking a room and with plans to go pretty last minute. So we'll be heading into Portland on Friday for another year at Furlandia! I hear it's going to warm over there this weekend, which I'm kinda looking forwards to after it being cold and rainy here for a few days. All this to say, I'll be absent for a few days and having some fun. I hope you all get some time to chill too! ^^

Life updates for anyone interested here:

I got a new art tablet recently, and hopefully between commission I can get the new drivers installed. Planning an update for my Terms of Service, and commission types and prices, but there's no set date for that yet. I'll let ya'll know when I decide on that just in case any of you were thinking of getting a commission and want the current prices and options. I hope to save up enough to perhaps eventually buy a car.

A moment to be cheesy now- My dear mate   Adzain is moving to a university campus soon, so our relationship will sadly become more a long distance one for a couple years as they finish their studies, but luckily they get to come home for breaks. We decided to get engaged before they officially move away, and I couldn't be happier! I had never thought I'd find someone so perfect to share my weirdness with <3

Amazingly, I have lived long enough to turn 21. Not sure how I feel about it. Taking today just to chill and be extra lazy, hang out with my family and have fun. I've been planning a couple design changes to Pixel for awhile, so today is as good as any to give her an update, but it might be awhile till I give her some new art x)

Back from Furlandia this weekend! Still recovering from the long car ride home, and I'm hella tired and could do with some solid sleep, but overall had a great time! :D

I bought probably too many art prints, but I neeeded them. Even if I don't think I can find enough frames or wall room for them... Once again, not too many pics from the con itself, my phone has the battery life of a log and I have the short-mindedness of a gerbil. I managed to make Adz a full suit of Stelitzia, and I got a partial done of Kerold. Both of which I'll have to make some edits and get them a little more finished than they currently are. I'll have to get some better pics when I recover a bit more ^^'
Starting to get a little post con depression, but mostly right now I'm just pumped to do lots of art for this next month! ... After sleep.

Yesterday was both April Fools and Easter, the fact the two shared the date really tripped me up when I found out xD For many, at least around my area, it was also the last day of their spring break from classes. I hope all of you who had a good weekend and if you are heading back to classes for the rest of the school year, good luck to you! A few more months to go!

And hello to all my new watchers! Just a couple months ago I hit 300 and now I have just over 400 :o Where'd you all come from? Nevertheless, I hope you've all enjoyed watching me so far, I know I've enjoyed posting my art here for this community and doing commissions for others :) I feel like I've grown quite a bit in skill, but There's always more to improve upon.

As for me, I recently completed community college and have this term free before I head to university. So, I'll take advantage of the time to try and do some more digital art and some crafting projects I've had on the agenda for awhile. ^.^

As we go into February, I have to thank everyone for their support for reaching 300 watchers! ^.^ Just a year ago I couldn't have imagined reaching 100 and it means a lot to me. Thank you for all your favorites, comments and follows, and I hope you enjoy my work.
I decided back in January to try something new for February, and post a colored sketch everyday with the theme being Waifus, because I am trash. Hopefully I can stick to it and post one every day for the month! If not, let's just see how far I get :)
