I've been slightly absent from the net recently for a couple of reasons... One being that my internets is extremely unreliable at the moment especially when it comes to messengers. :(

I've also had slight issues with the crazies. Nothing too horrendous but lapses in lucidity and a sudden shift back to thought patterns I haven't had in months. No particular reason, just comes with the territory.

I miss everyone like crazy and I've been drawing lots because I miss all of you so much.

So I've been drawing now for 7 months or so, apart from the three months I took off in the middle for a good emo flail, and getting my tablet has made it even more addictive. I really want to thank all my friends who've supported and inspired me.

I was watching Russell Howard's Good News and saw his mystery guest. The first female Chessboxing champion. I was intrigued... I used to play chess a lot as a child and I had my own kick-boxing instructor for 5 years.

Chessboxing is 11 alternating rounds of speed chess and boxing. The winner is decided by either knockout or checkmate, whichever comes first. It's been around for a while but this is the first time I've seen women chessboxing. I had a look into it but I can't find any good video footage of female chessboxers. This is the only boxing footage I can find and it's two years old...

The standard of boxing must be much higher now. So if anyone has any current female chessboxing footage I would be really excited to see it.

I know that your chess has to be class A which isn't quite expert but still damn good but I can't tell the female boxing standard without watching some matches.

I also found it amusing how ego-centric these messages are. Back from the US of A and still jetlagged. It was an amazing adventure and I got to see the last best place in America.

Got sent home by my beautician to chill out... Have to head back out in about 45 mins... STRESSED!

I have almost no energy left.

I never really say much when I'm ill but tonight I'm quite seriously and dangerously sick. I have to wait until 8:30am to pick up my meds. Just another four and half hours to go but they seem like forever.

The Lord Is My Shotgun is an awesome, morally bankrupt action film about a hard-bitten detective at the end of his chain. Opening just after a robbery gone wrong four goons stand between this violent, vigilante, vengeful cop and the carpark exit - his imaginary salvation - but real damnation.

And anyone who doesn't find the fact that the detective's name is Ash Campbell amusing has to turn in all their man points.
