No longer active here! Find me on twitter
Posted 6 years agoSo, I have think it's safe to say I've officially retired this account. You can find me on twitter here
https://twitter.com/pizzacreed
My art gets SO much more attention over there, but not without help from some friends
If anyone is seeing low activity on here, I would highly recommend switching to twitter, or just posting there as well
I'm sure this isn't news to anyone. I'm kind of slow with things. But, I wanna say thank you FA for all the good years on here!

Weasyl?
Posted 8 years agoIs it still a thing? I knew at one point it was a bit more popular than FA. Trying to find somewhere where my art might get some more traction.
If not weasyl, where is everybody hangin out nowadays?

Life Update
Posted 8 years agoIt's been a while since any sort of news from myself. Sorry 'bout that
I feel like the life I had been living up to now had been busy. Working full-time to pay for my place, in which I shared with three other people, and hanging out with said people. I didn't have a whole lot of time, inspiration, energy, or dedication to focusing on art or this community.
Well as of six days ago, I have packed my things and moved with my parents up to a small town in montana. Yea, fuckin montana. I still don't know what the hell I was thinking. Maybe that the time away from my friends and the busy retail job would allow more time to focus on art and myself.
So far I absolutely love it. LOVE. It is so mind-blowingly beautiful out here. The open space, fresh air, and general lack-of-assholes is really nice.
I'm currently working over-time, 60+ hours a week, at my parents small trading post up here in the mountains. I help the nicest people I've ever met, selling essentials like food, camping supplies and loads of beer. I am a six minutes walk to the nearest river, and less than a mile to the trail-heads leading into the mountains. There are cows in the front yard on a daily basis.
God, I just hope it was the right decision. I am so scared that one day I will wake up and realize I've made a huge mistake.
Anyways, my current plan is the start work on designing t-shirts, both for the trading post and to sell here. As well as just more art in general. Come winter, I also hope to start attending college.
Thanks for reading. I don't have many close friends I can tell things to. I hope to become more active here so that I can change that.

The good the bad and the ugly BLFC
Posted 9 years agoBad: So as it turns out, I am moving a with a couple of good friends the week before blfc. Not gonna be able to make it :/ I was super excited but I figure the responsible adult thing to do is save my money and do this properly
Good: Since I'm not taking this time off from work in May, I have a much higher chance of getting the week of mff off (which I think I'd rather go to anyways). Plus I'll have some pto by then and will be getting paid while I'm not working. Still planning on making rmfc at least a day or two
Ugly: me
Hopefully see you all at mff!
And thanks again for all the support for the friends trying to find me a room at blfc

BLFC
Posted 9 years agoI'm going to try and attend!
Work gave me that week off and I should be able to afford plane tickets
But I was wondering if any friends out there would have space in their room for me?
I don't need my own bed and I actually prefer sleeping alone in a sleepin bag maybe. Down to pay my part in money or art.
So who else is going? Might be takin badge commissions soon to have some spending money and so that I can meet some rad furries!
I'll make a journal about commissions once everything is official.

need advice concerning computer junk [figured]
Posted 10 years agoheres the actual scenario
So I have this old ipod that I've put a lot of time and effort filling up.
I've recently obtained a new computer and would like to start filling it up again (its been a few years)
The original computer that has all of the files is long gone and I'm afraid that plugging it in will destroy everything I've put on there?
Not to mention, its about 10000 songs and I don't need all that space bein taken up once I do plug it in. Looking into getting an external hard drive to store it all.
I don't have a lot of knowledge with computers or how this sorta stuff works, so I apologize if this is real stupid or whatever
But oh yea so I do have this computer.. Would also like to apologize for all the art that looks pretty shitty now that I have a decent monitor haha

Trouble commissions
Posted 10 years agoToday is Friday and I've paid the fines for parking my car in the city. BLEH
BUT with your help, I was able to pay half of it with the commission money! It was way more of a success than I thought it'd be, and I'm always surprisingly reminded about how caring and giving this community is. I really can't thank you guys enough.
I've gotten about half way through them all, and have really had a blast with all of them so far.
I think I'm the future I might open some more just for the pure fun of it all? I'd like to refine my style a bit more because it was a little weird having these all look different from each other.
I'll be posting what's done in a couple days as well as a list of what I still need to do
Posted this from my phone at work so sorry for any misspellings
A friend had told me that paying parking tickets was useless if I didn't live in that particular city. Now I'm boned with 300$ to pay and no paycheck till after it due uuh.
I know my art flow is merely a trickle at this point, but I don't think I have any other options to be able to pay for these tickets than to open some commissions.
The notice says I have till the due date which is next Wednesday to pay these or they're taking me to court.
That shit would suck.
I know 300 is a lot of money to try and cover with art, but I need to try.
I have 2 days off, tomorrow and Friday, that I can use to work on these, as well as after work for a couple hours a day.
What would you guys be interested in?
Refs-30$
Sketches-10$
Colored pieces-20$
Icons-10$
I can also make some pretty rad Kigurumis http://imgur.com/oyWabFi
These would have to be quoted and wouldn't be able to be completed till after the tickets are paid, since I'd have to buy materials.
Probably around 100 im guessing
I'll start these tonight if anyone's interested!
You can look through my gallery to see some examples of what you might want.

bad luck commissions
Posted 11 years agoMy bills this month were larger than normal, and now I need some way to get gas and food for the next two weeks
So these are going to be pay-what-you-want experimental commissions. I've been out of the tablet game too-long to have any consistency in my art, but this way I can make each one unique. If there is enough, I will also be pretty choosy. Characters that arent you're run-of-the-mill type and species are AWESOME.
Please consider the fact that I will have to do these between work shifts and they may take longer than normal (2-3 days)

Commissions Open?!
Posted 11 years agoGlad to be back guys.
I've been out of work for almost a month due to medical reasons, so I'm a little strapped to cash. I should be alright in the coming weeks but theres a few things that I'm concerned about.
22mg needs some help getting to mff, and even though I'm not going to be able to go this year, I want to make sure they can get up there and have fun for me c:
I am also trying to fix my tablet so I'm not stuck doing traditional and mouse-only artwork. Sucks man.
SO I'm opening commissions for these pixel guys I've been doin.

http://www.furaffinity.net/view/14940644/
Please keep in mind I work full-time and these are done with a mouse. They take anywhere from 3-5 hours to make so you might have to be a little patient.
I'm gonna start em at $25
If you would like an icon-sized thing, we'll call that $20
If you would like something traditional, I don't have many examples but we can talk about that too. <3
