Hey all! It's been a while since I've posted here. So, a few things:

1. I'm opening my comms back up again! It's been a rough patch of mental health (and some sudden technical issues, which I'll get to in the next post), but I'm feeling great about creating again. I know how much people love my audios and art, yet I never internalized it. I would always just say thank you without really feeling it. It got to the point where my impostor syndrome was basically eating me alive. I felt like a fraud who was just watching everyone do it better. Then I realized that I have my own style, my own spin, my own creative vision on things, and that THAT is worth more than I can put into words. So I'm putting it into my art and my audio production. I'm happy to be working for all of you kinky gross furries again!

2. With all the sappy stuff out of the way, I'm on Linux now! LM Cinnamon, specifically. My Windows exploded and wouldn't boot back up from a fresh USB, so I had to transfer all my art and whatnot to Linux. It's only been a few days, but I'm liking how it's running so far! If there are any Linux users who might be willing to help a newbie out, feel free to leave your advice in the comments.

3. Thank you all so much for the continued support, even when I'm not being active. I check FA every day to see the faves, watches and comments you all leave. They mean a lot to me, even if it's for something as silly as kink art.

I won't be back for a week so no art until then. Hopefully I can get back into the swing of things once I'm back.

Back in March I drew a gas picture of Sprigatito, the grass type starter for the 9th gen of Pokémon. At the time, I was simply following the wave of popularity and wanted to throw my art into the ring.

This caught the attention of a couple of followers (who will remain anonymous) who approached me to talk about the implications of drawing kink art of a starter Pokémon. Their argument: it was cub.

My initial reaction was defensive because I had not considered Sprigatito to be a cub character. There was no official source for its age or classification outside of Bulbapedia.

My solution was to delete the picture from both Twitter and FA and go on my way. I hadn't given it much thought after that and decided to upload the most recent Sprigatito image yesterday, thinking that it was over with.

Today,  Pheromoan18 a close friend of mine, received harassment from someone over their defense of my art. This is NOT okay.

We don't know who it was, but we suspect it was someone within the gassyfur community. If you have a problem with me, talk to me. My DMs are open. Don't drag other people down for the sake of slighting me.

If you come forward, I'll keep this on the DL. I don't think you deserve a callout, but you do deserve a personal kick in the ass for trying to attack someone who wasn't involved.

That being said, I realize now that even if I don't think that a character is underage, that doesn't stop other people from thinking that way, and I can't be in an echo chamber.

After a conversation in my personal Discord server, I've been exposed to different perspectives and come to the conclusion that I could have unintentionally invited pedophilic behavior into my circle.

I acknowledge that my previous art can be interpreted as cub, even if I did not intend for it to be. I intend to own up to my actions and resolve to portray any NSFW of future potentially underage characters with a different design.

Ideally, I wouldn't be drawing any NSFW of underage characters at all, but I won't know until I've done my research. I apologize for my behavior and any damage I may have done as a result of it.
