I totally forgot to tell anyone, but I'm celebrating my birthday this weekend!

Since it's the picnic this weekend, I'll be doing whatever celebrating I do with all of you there!

I've never had my birthday overshadowed by a holiday before.. Except Cinco de Mayo every year, but that really doesn't count...

Anyway, I have to see you all at the picnic~

I finally replaced my shitty old small Bamboo Fun tablet with a medium Intuos! also I got sai

So the drawing is totally happening. This hardware is amazing and the old tablet made me not want to draw, so that's a big difference.

I've started work on a pair of images (both with lines by Whaleosaur) and once I make some more Post-Its drawings touching then up should be much nicer.

I also want to comment on sai. Its an interesting tool. I like how easy adjusting the brushes is and how lightweight and responsive it is. But the controls are downright wacky and the zoom, pan, and rotate intervals are kinda big. I was sad to find out the touch controls on my tablet didn't really work at all, until this morning when I adjusted the driver api. Now its awesome!

Finally I really have to thank  whaleosaur for encouraging me to just do it and get the thing, as well as hooking me up with sai and some lines to draw all over XD

I finally went out and bought a huge pack of sharpie pens. Now I can procrastinate in color!

Now that I have these amazing colors I'm thinking about drawing more characters on Post-Its. Cause its super fun.
