So one week from Anthrocon. All new standup set is coming along nicely, and will be taped. I'm not performing at Megaplex or any other cons I'm aware of currently, although that may change later in the year, although I am working on some local club dates. Been a few weeks since I updated; so wanted to let folks know what's up.

New PoinkCast is coming:should be uploaded this weekend. Had a cold, and with all the work that went into this one, didn't want to sound congested. Definitely check this one out, it will surprise you; and I feel like this one will be one of the best.

Working on a few more details for my live dvd, will be finished with that shortly as well. Hope you enjoy

And finally, Anthrocon. Already working on stuff in the background for setting up Masquerade, and writing material for my standup which is confirmed. Anthrocon is the only convention I'm planning to attend this year so far, so definitely tell folks and turn up! I'll post the scheduled time when I get it!

So, haven't done a whole lot of personal updates lately, other then uploading new material. So what have I been up to and what's going on?

Well, I post a lot more updates and just being a smartass to my twitter account or Facebook account. It's simpler to do while on the go; so feel free to subscribe to those; poinkcast on twitter or Poink T Weasel on Facebook.

As far as the PoinkCast, I recently did some stat tracking, and I'd just like to thank all the people downloading and subscribing on iTunes; there's a lot of you people! Coming up are more original podcasts, more older standup routines, and since I've gotten quite a few requests, I'll be doing a couple more of "Ask a Seacow." I'll put up a new request for questions soon. And a very special podcast with a bunch of surprises; can't tell you anymore yet; but you'll be surprised

As far as everything else, lots of things coming up. Working with a friend to finish up my first live standup dvd. And writing an entire new standup set for this year's Anthrocon. Plus this will be my 4th year cohosting and organizing the Anthrocon Masquerade. So all in all, lots of great things coming up.

So, finally, am uploading part 1 of my first hour-long standup performance. I love this one; the room was full, the crowd was pumped, and I think I was spot-on timing and material-wise. This was what I wanted to be my first DVD release. So, why did it take so long to upload this?

Well, in a nutshell, technically, things went completely, horribly wrong. I had made arrangements for both sound and video in advance, and both setups went straight to hell right at the last minute. So, I had to make do; what you are seeing here is footage from someone's personal camcorder and audio from 2 peoples audio recorders that came to see the show. Much obliged to them for that. So, unfortunately from a technical standpoint there was no way to release this as a dvd, the audio especially was SCREWED. What you are seeing here is the product of hours of processing and combining audio files and remastering and overdubbing in the really bad parts. Still, hate to let it go to waste, so, hope you like it! Please get the word out and retweet and subscribe and all that!
