Hey Everybody!!
Looks like we made it through November - Now, it's time for the BIG ONE, the year-ender - December!!

Just wanted to make this little journal to update on my plans for the next month. First things first, thanks for all the love and support you guys gave to my Spanksgiving pieces. It's been a good one this year! ^w^

And now that's done - I believe I stated interest in a new challenge for December: A Dad-vent Calendar featuring 25 days of undie-clad Daddies... ...yeah... that's been canned. 💀💀 I'm Sorry. I honestly didn't give myself anytime to plan and prepare, and the idea of making 25 new pieces from scratch right now, it's just too stressful!

Maybe, I'll try again next year. If nothing else, I think I could make something like a special DAD-Mas piece before the 25th. But, don't hold me to that! ^^'

I would much rather spend the month finishing up older projects. I do still have two comics left on the back-burner, plus a part two to a short story I still need to finish. That and I would like some time to plan out a few new projects I want to do early in the new year.

Hope you guys like what I come up with. Even more, I hope you all have a wonderful holiday.

Hey Everyone. Happy November! Hope you all had a good Halloween.

Just making this journal to explain my plans for the upcoming months. There's quite a bit go through so bear with me please.

Starting off with some October left-overs, I wanted thank you to everyone who enjoyed my "Junk-O-Lantern" pics. They were a lot of fun, so maybe I could do it again next year! (no promises) As for my other project that month, my short-story "The True Shadow of Marcie", ...yeah the second part not done yet. I'm sorry. I could blame myself for laziness or not planning properly. I could blame my actual job for loading me up on more work this time of year, especially just this past week with a massive project. But no matter who or what's to blame, I just couldn't put the story in my mind onto the page in time. Again, I'm sorry.

For now, I'm putting the second part on the back burner for now while I work on other things. It will be posted as soon as it's done. Unfortunate timing for a Halloween story? Yeah. But I'd rather it come out a little late, than have to wait an entire year for it to be timely relevant again. Wouldn't you?

Speaking of late coming projects, my main focus this month is, as like previous years, SPANKSGIVING! I would have liked to have something ready to show today, but like I said up above, lots of work this past week. Expect new pics in the coming weeks, no set schedule.

What will be on schedule, however, will be my brand new Holiday DAD-vent Calendar event!! Twenty-five days of underwear-clad daddies for your December enjoyment!! It's gonna be a lot of work but I'm ready to do it!! Although, I may post another journal later asking for some character suggestions. Be on the look out for that.

And now, what most of you were waiting to hear about, my NOVEMBER REQUEST RAFFLE!! Yes, the next raffle will take place next week, SATURDAY NOVEMBER 8TH!! Hey Everyone!! How have you all been these first few days of Fall?

I'm making this journal to talk about some of my upcoming plans for new art projects for the Holidays season and maybe get some feedback.

First off,  croup has recently posting his new prompt list for this year's Spanksgiving challenge, I you know I gotta take another crack at it!! ^w^ Fourth year in a row, Baby!!! Already got some ideas flowing, so I hope you guys like what you see when November rolls around. Second, I know last year I also did Wedgietober last year, but October is less than a week away and I haven't seen any new list posted that I can find. Honestly, I think I might pass on that one, partly because I thought of a different idea to try out. Here me out: "The Junk-O-Lantern Challenge"!! - I'll be drawing a bunch of my OCs in the only barest of their Halloween costume accessories, holding Jack-o-lanterns to cover bit the naughty bits. 🤭🤭 How does that sound? I can try to draw up something this weekend to at least give a better concept at what I'm thinking. If not that, I'll maybe look at the prompts I overlooked for last year's Wedgietober.

While we're still on Halloween, I've got a little Polks-Castle Bros short story I started last year and really would like to finish this October. I've been wondering if anyone who's got more experience with story writing would like to proof-read it and offer me some insight or critique to improve it. Fair warning - this is a down-to-earth and personal emotional tale focusing on some of less developed characters from the Polks-Castle Family, mainly Kenneth and Damion's little cousin, Marcie. Let me know if any of you are interested.

Lastly, I'd like to talk about the big one, Christmas. If I may pitch another holiday art idea, something I've always thought about doing for years now - The "DADvent Calendar!" What better way to celebrate the season than 25 days of undies pics featuring a whole bunch of hunky dad characters. What do you guys think?

Hey everybody,

Hope the start of May has been good for all of you... because the past week hasn't been all that great for me.

I know it's been a long while since I've done one of these kinds of journals (specifically about two and a half years, wow!), but I thought it'd be fun to give my thoughts on the new info released in today's Pokémon Day Direct!! You know, for all five of you who actually read these! 😋

Now, let me just start us off by gently and respectfully saying, THANK GOD WE'RE NOT GETTING GEN 10 YET!!! I mean no offense, but I think I've a genuine fear of Pokémon generations ending too soon. I know they've always only lasted a couple years and I always love getting more new Pokemon, I just can't handle letting the old ones go when it now feels like they only came out yesterday! 😭 So, I thank our blessings it's just Legends for now... ...probably gonna come next year...

Anyways! Legends Z-A!! We FINALLY have some new info! And while I know we all hoped they would give us just a little more than what was shown today, I'm honestly happy and hyped for what's coming!! Now, here my thought in order:

- I'm surprised we're getting a post X/Y storyline for this game. I guess after Legends Acreus, we all assumed the Legends games would all be about the past. But I like it! God knows Kalos needed more depth to its story

- TOTODILE AND TEPIG!!! My Johto 2nd pick and my Unova 2nd pick! How am I supposed to choose!? Do you think they'll get new regional evolutions or new Mega Evolutions!!? ...Oh hey, Chikorita. Didn't see you there

- So we're shifting to real time combat? ...Cool! Honestly, that's actually really interesting for Pokemon! My only worry is that I'm terribly inexperienced with that kind of system. May be a learning curve there

- AZ and Floette are back, YAY!

- Urbain and Taunie: (ha, I see what they did with those names) Not terribly much to say here, they both seem like fine friend/rival characters. I'll reserve futher judgement til we know more about them. I do like the gradient strawberry blonde hair though. That's a nice unique touch

- Jett and Vinne: Quasartico Inc., huh? They seem pretty cool, likewise not much else to say until we learn more. I just hope they're not our villians here, Kalos needs a break from evil corporate CEOs. I will say, I was confused at first by Vinnie's hairstyle. Are those Pokemon puffs his hair bun? A themed decorative pom-pom hair-tie? Either way, he weirdly resembles a Gym Leader OC I came up with months back. Funny that

- It looks like they're pulling back on the realistic rendering on character models like with Scarlet and Violet to more cartoonish style of Sword and Shield...
GOOD!! Not knocking S&V's character designs but, I was always a little offput by how they were rendered in-game. It just strayed a little too much away from Pokémon's usual style.

- A tad sad we got no new regional forms or mega evolutions, for now. But I was still really happy we got anything at all. (You see how they reel us in like that) Still a bit of a shame we got no new Pokemon to make OC's out of at the moment 😢

All together, a pretty solid Pokemon Direct!! I know I skipped over the news bits for the other games, I just don't have that much interest in the TCG or mobile games anymore (Pokemon GO is dead to me -_- ). Although, I was actually pretty happy to see Pokemon Champions. I probably won't get it but I can see people having fun with it. The logo with the different font 'P' in the middle of Champion is a little weird tho- OH MY GOD! I JUST REALISED IT'S A MACHOKE BELT!!!

Hello Everyone!!

It's almost the end of February and you know what that means! It's almost time for another round of my Free Request Raffles!!

The next raffle will be happening at the end of the week on SATURDAY, MARCH 1st!!! Entry into the raffle will be open all day that day for a full 24 hours (check Mountain Standard Time). All you have to do is send me note saying you want to enter during that period! Once the entry period is over, I'll pick and announce the winners on the following Sunday.

Hopefully, that gives you all a few days to think about what you'd want me to draw for you. Take your time to think it over and make sure it fits the rules listed below. Just remember: DON'T send in your request until the raffle officially starts on Saturday!!

Rules of the Raffle:

- There will be four request slots up for grabs, each for a single winner

- Sizes of the finished requests will be between either of these dimensions: 4”x5” (1200px, 1500px) to 5”x7” (1500px, 2100px).

- I’ll only do a single art piece with one to two characters for each request.

- Requested artwork will only be monochromatic black and white line art with possible exception of a one to two colors used sparingly.

- I will not be doing anything explicitly NSFW in my gallery. Also, not being accepted outright are any requests containing: vore, gore, extreme realistic violence, torture, murder, bodily wastes (scat, urine, vomit, etc), or anything involving weird feet stuff (More details on what I will or won’t draw will have to be asked personally)

- These aren't completely off the table but please, avoid requesting anything involving Macro, Mirco, or Inflation, as they're just not in my interest.

- Backgrounds, if any, are going to be extremely simple (think gradients, silhouettes, and/or basic geometric shapes).

- Outside of that, I can try to work with most anything you suggest.

- Only requests sent in during the open entry period can be accepted into the raffle. Any sent before or after the allotted time will be disregarded

- Any note sent that doesn’t fit the entry guideline above (ex. Asking “Is the raffle still open?” or “are there still spots open?”) will be disregarded and that user will NOT be counted into the raffle until they submit a proper entry

- Usually, I like to keep winners up to date on their pieces with WIP update pics, usually sending them either through the note system here on FA or by chatting on Discord. Their choice. Please, consider which method would work best for you, if you were to win. (PS. Please don't ask for my Discord tag. I really only give that out to raffle winners who want it. Thank You)

- IMPORTANT!! - For the sake of fairness, any winners of the most recent raffle will not be able to enter or win a spot in this raffle. Also, the winners of this raffle will not be able to win a spot in next month's raffle.

With 2024 out of the way, it's time to refresh ourselves a get right into making 2025 the best we can! For me and this account, that starts with a new year of Free Request Raffles! Now if you guys remember from my previous journals, I won't be holding these raffles monthly anymore. Instead, they will be held every two months. That's six raffles throughout the next year, set to be held at the starts of January, March, May, July, September and November (unless something goes wrong and they need to be rescheduled). I hope that works for everyone.

Starting things off, the next raffle with be held a week and a half from now on SATURDAY, JANUARY 11th!! All the same rules and procedures from previous raffles will still be in place. If you're interested, take this time to think over your request and hit me up when the raffle opens!!

Hey Friends.

Unfortunately, I've decided to cancel the Monthly Free Request Raffle that I had to planned for this weekend. I had expressed in my previous journal my hesitations with holding another raffle right now and ultimately, I decided it was too much for me at this time when we are all busy with the holiday season.

My apologies to everyone who was waiting on it.

While you're here, I'd also like to give some news about how I'll be handling the raffles going into the new year. I really want to lean away from free requests and get serious on doing paid commissions. Now, I won't be getting rid of the raffles immediately, they'll just be happening less often. Instead of monthly, I be holding the raffles every other month (ex. January, March, May, July, September, and November) if I can. Hopefully, that'll make the transition easier.

Even so, one can never tell what the future will bring, so I'll be trying my best and tackling whatever may come my way. I only hope you, my Friends, will persevere alongside me.

Hey Everyone! Happy December!

I wanted to talk with you guys about the next monthly request raffle. I was planning to have this weekend on Saturday just to finish off the year. But now, I'm feeling a little hesitant. I mean, it probably wouldn't take up that much of my time or mess with any personal plans next week. I just don't know if I'm actually feeling excited to do it at this time or if it's starting to look like more work that isn't on other projects I want to do.

Thus, I wanted to ask all you, would you all be truly disappointed if I chose to skip the raffle for this December? That would mean no new requests taken until January. Would that be okay?

I'll be honest, I've been thinking of just axing the raffles and free requests all together. I started these years ago to just get practice with art and ideas. They've been fun and actually allowed to make a good amount of new friends here and on other sites. However lately, they've become more of a chore to keep up every month or so. With the new year coming, I'm seriously (And I do mean SERIOUSLY, this time) considering just dropping them and doing actual paid commissions.

I don't know what the future has in store for me, but I can tell you this: the December Raffle will still be scheduled for this Saturday, December 7th for now. Same rules as the previous ones. If I decide to change that, I will let you all know. Just don't jump the gun send in your requests early.
