Well, my life has been absolutely nuts this past two years or so. I still owe a story to someone, and I'm really stupid about that. Things got in the way and other things came and went. I need to get on that now that I've been inspired to start writing again.

Right now, I have another story I've been working on these past few days that I'm gonna upload in pieces. I went out of my comfort zone for a lot of the stuff I did, but I'm glad that I did. It is a bit more smutty than I've done in the past, so that is gonna be a little weird.

Guess I'm gonna post the six pieces I've done so far. But, the fact that FA still seems to only be able to parse .txt files and not other things is really kind of obnoxious!

So, talking with a friend or two, I've got some new ideas. So, I play and contribute to this game full of silly fetish TF smut. It's got its own charm for sure, and I've been slowing working to get back into the game. I recently submitted a few more pieces of spell text for the game, and hand someone come up to me with a request or two. So, after much deliberation, I've opted to write a lot more stuff. We'll see how quickly I burn out; I sure hope I don't.

I had to pick a theme, and it looks like I'm going to be doing some kinda TF-y adaptation of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland. It's certainly a story and theme I've held dear to my heart for a while through its various iterations, so that could be fun. What I've determined is that I'll go ahead and work it out into a few things. The first thing is turning the story into some kind of CYOA sort of thing. Can it be done? I dunno. Will I give it a try? Definitely. That might be something I'm able to upload here, as well.

To go along with the quest, I think I'll write up eight or nine different spells to go along with the quest. Whilst going through said geas, individuals can pick up the spells to use cast. This part is easy. I've done it at least a dozen times and enjoy it. Other things that I'll have to write up are some forms to go along with the quest. Forms specific only to the quest that can't be picked up by normal means. If you're going to go through a quest, why let the player see it through the eyes of a few different folks?

I'm thinking one quest with nine spells to be learned and five semi-exclusive forms. And no cheating and buying them out of the quest! You must complete your ordeal if you wish to learn all of its secret. Or pick up a crap ton of items and hope they curse you with a fairy-tale form. I've gotten some of the things already hashed out which I think is a good starting point. Something tells me I'm gonna have to find my Kindle and pop open the story to read. I could always cheat and look over the SparkNotes or CliffsNotes version. We'll see!

Gonna also need to get so much art. Time to probe and bug artists about commissions.

...I also still want to write stuff with adventures on the high seas. :<

Howdy there, boys and girls.

Lately, I've been in a pretty fantastic mood since the real-world side of things is going pretty nicely for me. As such, I'd like to share in this with others. I know there aren't a lot of you yet, but this journal will be open to new follows, as well. Anywho, lemme get to the point.

For the time being, I'm open to taking request. If there is something you'd like to have written up, please let me know. I'm tempted to try writing more things I normally wouldn't.

Of course, this does come with a few caveats. Mostly, I am a bit slow some times because real world things can eat a lot of my time. I also reserve the right to refuse certain themes or genres if I feel that it just isn't really my style.

If you're not sure about what I will or won't write, feel free to poke me via notes. We can discuss some of the details and try to work something out. Once details have been worked out and we're happy, with a 'okay, let's do this' from you, I can start writing.

I can say that I'm not too interested in writing lewd or smut things, though I can glance over certain aspects and describe them at least in some detail. Just don't expect some full-blown written smut. I'm horrible at it!

Not counting "A Heck of a Time" and it's planned chapters, most things I write are between 1500 - 2000 words. There is some wiggle room, but yeah.

So, I migrated over from m'normal account to this one. Here, I'll dump stories and other junk. So, I've gone ahead and uploaded a few of the things I already have. Probably over the next few days, I'll slowly upload more thing. By the end of the week, I hope to have at least a small library of short stories to read. I've got a backlog of stuff people asked me to write that I just need to move from the analog state that it is in (in a notebook) to a more digital state.

I wish I had awesome handwriting so I could just scan and OCR everything. C'est la vie.
