So, what exactly is going on?
Posted 2 months agoI'm glad you asked, dear reader! Why not fuck around and find out? I won't bite... okay maybe a nibble.
I'll start with the obvious. Where the heck are the animations? Well, it's complicated. I finished two private video commissions before Summer ended, one of which were long overdue, the other just being so long in runtime. I still have two more private comms to go, but those are thankfully coming close to completion. As one can imagine, things have been slowing down a bit when it comes to original animations. I'm trying not to start anything wide in scope because I want the last two commissions to take priority. It doesn't help that the Summer was also spent on a lot of model porting from Blender to Source Filmmaker. I am forever grateful for my customers being patient for so long, I truly do not deserve you guys... In the meantime, I do have some old projects to share that have yet to see the public eye. I'll also likely have more poster and comic renders for October, as well. They've been good for warm-ups, especially with lighting a scene. Plus, as an incentive, higher res renders & some standalone shots are available on my Patreon.
That aside, as for other online stuff... oh boy. Apologies in advance, but bro? I've come super close to giving up on social media. I won't go into too much details, since I know many are already well aware & are sick of it, but the wider Internet has been shitting the bed when it comes to censorship and mass surveillance, among other things. If you don't know more recently, Bsky is ready to push a community guidelines update regarding consent within fictional kink depictions, come next October. As one can imagine, I'm on the chopping block when it comes to this kind of thing because being real, a lot of my vore is unwilling by default. Bsky staff has been under intense (and deserved) criticism, but I'm not holding my breath on them changing their minds. If they do stick to their guns, then I'll be shuttering my Bsky along with my dormant Twitter, and I am not going back to Twitter, either. I don't need social media. I only went to social sites like Twitter before, because of the infamous Tumblr porn ban of 2018. Plus browsing social media a lot, especially in this political climate, should honestly count as some kind of cognitive hazard. I may have had my start on Tumblr sure, but there's a reason why my most resilient presence for lewd content has always been on Eka's Portal, with FurAffinity being second.
Speaking of, I haven't forgotten this, but I have been meaning to re-upload my older pony stuff back on FA. At least with the special GIF previews, since FA lacks video support. The GIFs do offer a fun tease of what to expect for viewers, at least in comparison to the film themed thumbnails I currently use. I'm not holding my breath on this ever happening soon, but if FA were ever to add video support, then I will definitely update existing uploads, even if they kill me. Hell, I'll gladly support FA+ if that happens. A man can dream... As far as my presence anywhere else, well I don't think I ever mentioned it here, but I completely left InkBunny. If you wanted another reason to write off the site, well the founder had some less than savory takes regarding trans folks as well as defending AI slop. No big loss there, maybe aside from having an alternate source for watching videos directly instead of Aryion. If the founder had a change of heart, would I come back? Probably not right away, at least not until I have my gallery on FA and Itaku up to 100 percent with Aryion. More-so Itaku, since they actually have video support for animators. Honestly, if you're not on Itaku yet, then I do generally recommend it. The site is nowhere near as popular as it should be, but it should. I haven't had any issues regarding content moderation, and the site is entirely funded by the community.
That's about it for now. If you made it this far reading, then thank you. This year has been hard for a lot of us, and that's putting it mildly. A lot of us have dealt with such extreme bullshit, but we have to remember that horrible things don't last forever. Keep fucking fighting! Maybe watch K-Pop Demon Hunters while you're at it. Love y'all. ♥

2025's Story So Far...
Posted 9 months agoPardon the dust. I really have not updated with you guys my current situations, have I? Let's correct that mistake.
To start off, I've been okay for the most part. At the start of the year, I made my flight to visit family back in Jersey for a week. Then, thanks to my supporters on Patreon, I recently attained a corner desk, giving my older one away to my partner. This corner desk not only looks cool, but it saves me space in my room for VR related endeavors, as well as offering space for a second monitor. I've been missing out on having a secondary display, especially when multi-tasking. Having Discord on the side alone is something I dearly missed before moving out. I know it's not much, but I'm glad things for me have been steady, considering the absolute chaos going on State-side.
That said, I do have concerns regarding my output on content & performance. Maybe I've become more critical of my own art, but it doesn't feel like I'm getting out very far. All of my other peers have either been dominating SFM with top tier quality renders, or even moved on to greener pastures with Blender. I'm probably just overthinking it, and I know it's foolish to compare one's self to others, but it's kind of hard not to. Hell, I've been making far less on Patreon. I can't afford to fall behind financially, even though I am in a much more stable position with my current household than I was with my family. One thing that hasn't helped was me shifting platforms. As mentioned in my last journal, I had to abandon SubscribeStar for Patreon just so I can actually get paid. I can't imagine my supporters were thrilled having to move on over or even just quit. That's not to say that I haven't been trying to offer a bit more on Patreon, however.
Though, if there was anything more damaging than that, it would be whatever the fuck has been going on with Twitter. Ever since The Election™ last year, it really feels like everything went to shit. Grok AI scraping, the army of embolded chuds, having to bounce around an unforgiving algorithm. It got too much, so I left for Bluesky. The website environment is way more welcoming, but gaining growth on there has been an uphill battle since not everyone (at least folks I know) never bothered to switch or at least cross-post between both sites. I was just getting close to 2K followers on Twitter, too, and every follower does matter when it comes signal boosting my Patreon. Sure, I could go back. In fact, for a brief time when 2025 started, I did. Then another viral post went on about Grok remixing at the click of a button, and I was turned back off. It hasn't helped knowing Muskrat's involvement with the current Administration. The whole thing just leaves me with a sour taste in my mouth. For social media, it sure as hell is making me anti-social...
What with all of the social media kerfuffle, It has left me feeling nostalgic for the older days of the Internet. Forums, blogging, making your own web page. It was enough to convince me to make a NeoCities page for my SFW stuff. If you haven't seen yet, then give it a look. Cool, ain't it? I barely know CSS nor remember much HTML, so it's a miracle it came out well as it did. I thought about making a separate NeoCities site for everything Optica related, but I'm not sure how I would even begin. Last time I checked, I know at least that NeoCities should be okay with NSFW. I'll keep in touch with you guys on that, should I ever make a site for Optica. It would be nice to have a central hub with a bit more shine than my current Linktree.
I suppose that's about it for now. I do want to thank you, the reader, if you made it this far. Also, I do want to thank my current and past supporters on both the now defunct SubscribeStar as well as my current active Patreon. Every penny offered is a major help to me, and I am forever grateful for it. Also, shout-out to
knowvoid for helping me out with my PC upgrade almost a year ago. Go give him some love. ♥

Posted a year agoI announced elsewhere, but neglected to mention here. Partially because I've been busy with a sleep schedule shift, some comm work, and the recent FurAffinity debacle. But yeah. As the title reads, I'm trying to shut down my SubscribeStar.
Why, you may ask? Well, it's mostly due to the difficulty of working with the payment threshold of 150 USD on the platform. I was given leeway before in the past, but SubscribeStar has been denying me that blessing the past month, even after a polite email request. It's also been difficult trying to maintain my SubscribeStar in more recent years with me coming back to Patreon and having my support split. It makes more sense consolidating all of my support under one roof, and it's one less account to sync to on PostyBirb. Heck, the only reason why I killed my Patreon in the past for SubscribeStar back in 2020 was because of all of the fearmongering regarding Patreon's policy changes. Golly, why does that story seem so familiar? Ahem... I admit, prices are a tiny bit higher on Patreon when compared to my Sub page, but at the time of reforming my Patreon page, I couldn't set the prices exact. Though to be honest, as selfish as it sounds, I could use the extra money anyway, since I do live in a more expensive state. Washington ain't like Jersey, yo.
Anyways, the only thing stopping me from completely shutting down my SubscribeStar is the fact that SubscribeStar itself won't allow me to deactivate until my current remaining subscribers unsubscribe. For any remaining subscriber reading this, unsubscribe before you're billed! As for my Patreon itself, I have recently organized the archives for patrons, as well as updated with some new WIPs, some completed posters in 4K, and have added some cut content. I am an absolute sucker when it comes to cut content, so it was all the more fun in providing said material. If anyone from Sub wants to continue support, then you're more than welcomed to help a small gote out on Patreon, but ONLY if you want to and ONLY if you can.
All of that said, thank you all for your past, present & any future support. Expect more updates soon. ♥

Space Goat: Coast to Coast (I'm Moving, Part II)
Posted 2 years agoSome of you may recall my announcement to move in with my partner Gwen & roomie Tefnut. Well, it was partially true. I did move in with them! However, the part about moving to Washington was put on hold. Gwen had army obligations needing to be filled, and we still needed to find an actual home in Washington, so we stayed together in Georgia for the past three months to figure shit out.
That said, the REAL move across state lines begins next week! We'll be departing around or on the 5th next week, and we'll be traveling on road. "Can I get 19-2000 queued on the playlist?" That said, things are going to slow down for me, both because of the travel, but even after that, having to unpack and wait for other items to come in, setting up internet. I'll try to remain productive within SFM on my laptop, though there's no way in hell I can make legit renders in SFM, at least not without the laptop exploding. It's a toaster from 2013. If anything, it's a miracle it can even run SFM. Either way, I will try to keep content updates somewhat consistent for my supporter platforms (Patreon & SubscribeStar), as well as news updates to all of you once I made it.
Thank you all, wish me luck, all that jazz. 🚗

My Greatest Journey (I'M MOVING!)
Posted 2 years agoI held my tongue to make sure that everything is set in place, but with how things are going, I can share this news with complete confidence. I'm going to be moving across state lines to live with my bun Gwen Greenears!! I'll have more details, but the move will be in Washington State & it'll likely be around mid-September. Things may be slow with some updates, but I'll try to keep everyone here updated, especially with my supporters on Patreon and SubscribeStar. Thank you for your time & wish me luck!
Taking the L
Posted 2 years agoI don't like taking the L, but sometimes you have to, because obviously nothing came out of the FA policy change & controversy & I fell for the doomposting. Hell, people were advertising their FA accounts when Elon was turning Twitter into X, completely forgetting about the FA drama. Christ...
So yeah, in other words, I'm back. I'll work on older uploads in the future, though not right this second. I still have my Itaku to update, anyway. If you guys want to catch up on what's been going on with me, I have a summary on my Patreon. You can also catch up with what I've been up to on Twitter.
