Update about art trades [Dropping some people]
Posted 11 years agoThis is unproffessional, I know, I am sorry. But having my list getting so big stressed me out to a point where I coudnt even sleep.
Let me first apolegize for what I am about to say...
Some people definetly did not match the same quality of artwork I give. I know thats kind of a mean thing to say, but its true. A few years ago when I wasnt as good as I am now, I coudnt do art trades with people who are my current level either.
Dont worry too much, I wont blow some of you off completly. Basically the people who arent on the same skill-level as I am are gonna get a detailed sketch (They can give a sketch in return as well)
And the people who are on my skill level are gonna get a picture that I put my full-blasted effort into O__O
Again, sorry it had to be like this. I dont mean to offend anyone, I really dont... But some of you can think for yourself to and see the difference between my gallery and your own. plus I already said in the rules I wanted similair efforts. I cant back down on it just because I'm too afraid to offend people.
Tomorow I'll make the list of people who will be doing a sketch art trade with me and people who will be doing a full illustration with me.
I'm not gonna do it now because its 4 in the morning. I coudnt sleep because this whole thing kept playing with me in my mind. My mind is a bit chaotic to say the least.

Posted 11 years agoIf you send me money just to send me money because you like art, I wont mind at all :p But when you do dont forget to tell me on furaffinity so I can properly thank you for it, or even draw you a thank-you picture for it.

Posted 11 years agoI'm going to make this short. A good artist died. I'm not going to mention who this artist was out of respect. If you know who I'm talking about then please dont mention his name or furaffinity in this journal.
I found out about this today, and out of curiousity I visited what seemed to be his/her mates page, now I'm going to give some advice.
If you did not know the artist, nor his mate then please dont go on this persons page to say "Sorry for you loss" or comfort them in any other way. I know your intentions may be good but this is a very horrible experience, a lot of people who go through it usually only want to be comforted by close friends or families.
Sorry if this offends anyone... I dont mean to critisize people, I honestly just want to give a little insight. I understand fully that people have the best of intentions to have the community come together to comfort those who need it, but there are some cases that are just too personal.

UPDATE ABOUT TABLET + INFO
Posted 11 years agoWhatever the problem with my tablet is I have experienced it before, its almost exactly the same symptomes, my pen either doesnt work, or it moves around without clicking, or it is oversensative. I have deleted EVERYTHING (yes, everything) from wacom off my computer, turned off my computer, reinstalled the most up dated drivers time and time again but it just doesnt work.
Is the pen broke? Maybe... is it the drivers? Maybe... Either way I dont care anymore. I have to be honest this has made me very bitter. 80 euros was spend on this pen, rather its broken or not its useless to me now. To some of you this might not seem a big deal, but there is so little money in our household that this is very precious, it actually even gave me a small break down. I dont have the guts to tell my parents I have tablet problems, I dont want to tell them that I possibly broke 80 euros worth of device that they bought for me. Honestly I dont even think I deserve a new tablet because obviously I cant take care of precious devices, or fix isseus like this...
None the less, I need to finish owed commissions so I got to have a new tablet. Thats why I'll try to finish some of the commissions by sketching it traditionally and scanning it in to finish it on the computer, and I'll also post 2 or 3 (tops) adoptables that I will auction off, I will make sure to make those adoptables subtily original and nice looking. The money I'll make off it will go to me buying a cheap tablet.

More wierd updates about my pen
Posted 11 years agoI restarted my computer multuple times and.. my pen seems to work (sorta) it moves around and it even now clicks everything I want to be clicked but this time its OVERsensative rather then not responding at all. occassionally it still doesnt respond to what I do.
I dont really understand... atleast now I know my pen isnt broke.

Posted 11 years agoMy pen seems to react to my tablet now, and I finally was able to get the pen options in my computer...
However it doesnt react when I try to draw or click on something, all it does is move around. Maybe somebody knows the problem.

Posted 11 years agoSo I succesfully reinstalled the drivers, however, the problem of my tablet is that it wont react to my pen at all, yet my tablet works just fine.
Do you think I broke my pen? I dont even know how you can break a tablet pen, given I do bite the back of my pens, but can that cause it to break? is there a way for me to see if its broken without testing it on other tablets?

The financial aid wasnt ment for me. My mom who read me the letter made a mistake. she mistaken me with my dad (same last name)
it wasnt me who was getting the financial aid money, it was my dad (but his financial aid will immidiatly go to the depth they still owe so we dont see the money)
Its a little upsetting afcourse... I already found it kind of wierd. I asked my mom for the letter and upon reading it I immidiatly saw it was for my dad. wich really sucked.
Its a huge let down, afcourse. but I am still optimistic on getting it... but I am sure it'll take awhile before I get it.
I dont mean to burden some of you with my personal bussiness, really... Its just really nice to have an outlet for my thoughts, yaknow?

Got Bad news and GREAT NEWS!
Posted 11 years agoThe bad news first- I got the flu. Ive been having the shivvers and sniffles ever since teusday.
The great news is- I finally got my financial aid through. I am so happy! I just got compensation money wich was an awesome suprise! After all this stress that it caused me it eventually paid off, everything is going the right direction now : D
The catch afcourse being, I have to work. But I dont mind having to work as long as long as they understand that I cant work as much as any other healthy person can... wich luckily this bureau understands and will try to find the perfect place for me to work at.
Once I'm feeling better I'm immidiatly going back to drawing commissions and owed drawing
I'm still working on them afcourse, I just cant spend so much time on finishing it because I'll feel ill again once the asprin has worn off.

Its the most, mediocre and overated movie I have seen in a while. Dont get me wrong, it wasnt bad
If I had to summary this movie I'd say-
In-your-face action, Little plot, Unsubtile, predictable. Basically, a movie pretty for the eyes but barely giving you any brain stimulation.
The thing that just kinda bothered me is the praise this movie gets... I mean ALL of my friends loved the movie.

I was honestly kinda dissapointed after watching it.

Posted 11 years agoAll of us artists have had this before, we are kinda down on our art. We KNOW we can do better and we are trying, but for now all that comes out is Mediocre Thats how an artist feels when in an artblock
Lets imagen the artist now talks to a person, explaining this feeling. Its not flatout saying "My art is bad." but rather.
"I feel like I am not drawing in my full potential, I am kind of down on my art lately"
And then another person replys with-
"Your art isnt the best, but, you're petty decent."
DONT DO THAT.
Granted you dont have to shower us with compliments and confidence, and we do appreciate input, but this? No, no, no... You're making it worse. You just added an extra 2 weeks to the artblock just by doing that.

What is an art whore you ask?
An Art whore is a person who, instead of making his/or/her own art, commissions or requests other people to draw out their ideas instead.
Is there anything wrong with an artwhore? Not in my book.

There are different types of artwhores. Here are the ones we have come to known and...Love?
Number 1
The commissioner- They always spend their money to commission artists to draw their character or their fetish, or even their favored fandom.
These are personally my favorite because through them I always get introducted with new amazing artists that I like to watch. Plus they make for good bussiness for us artists!
Number 2
The freeloader- The freeloader doesnt commission people for art, instead they rapidly ask around for free art. This is one of the least favored artwhore in the art community.
Personally I got nothing against them. Free art is AWESOME! Just be sure to be thankful to the artist who puts time in giving you free art, so do not act like a spoiled whiney brat when it isnt up to your standart. Remember, beggers cant be choosers.
Number 3
The wingman- They cling to other commisisoners, trying to convince them to get in their commissioned picture. You'll hardly ever see art of their sona solo.
Like the freeloader, I got no problem with this as long as they are thankfull with what they get.
Number 4
The Whore- Now this is putting the emphasise of WHORE in art whore. Their sonas are sex-icons that are also their alter egos. Whenever you talk to them it'll rarely be with them as a person, but rather throught that sexy alter ego of theirs. They flirt and roleplay in exchange for free art or cheap commissions.
