I turned 25 today, and am looking forward to my day ^^

on the subject of halloween, its a holiday i enjoy immensly dispute being as old as i am, here in the UK its not as big a thing as it is in the US so i hope one day to visit the US for Halloween and experience how they do things, but that wont be for a few years yet i dont think, gotta get me a good job

speaking of which, My progress through National Express Hire and training system is getting close to its end, my last hurdle is the Medical on the 26th of november at which point i need to revise for the theory test for driving a bus and when i pass that i will then be given physical training and a test before i get Accepted so i hope that goes well.

Wednesday
After the bi monthly Brum Coffee meets drove down to Ceil's house where we stayed the night ready for the trip to Inverness

Thursday
after the final packing of the minibus (red Dwarf) we mounted up and started our 11 hour journey in the big blue Van and Red Dwarf, this was mostly uneventful until we just crossed the boarder and stopped for a bite to eat, having done that i explored a little Scottish gift shop where i found a wild Hairy Haggis and Procured it cause it was cute
After we arrived at Inverness we unloaded Big blue and Red Dwarf and started to prepare for the con

Friday
After a very Uncomfortable Nights sleep on a hostel floor we got up and ready for the first day of Scotiacon, lots of preparing for registration for me and Awkore, then registration loomed and we were both nervous, but it went really well, we had assistance from Equium and Ixis who's Help was Immeasurable (THANK YOU SO MUCH!)

after that it was just helping people find where to go and Being a general Busy Body and helping out where i could and stuff

Saturday
Eat Scotland, once again it was Legendary and Delicious^^

I also did the Fursuit Walk this year, which was really fun, i made a kid in macdonalds smile by trying to eat his burger through the glass ^^.

the Highland fur games were good fun to watch especially In the water on the bank, which Awkore was once again very good at.

The Art Auction

Now here was a surprise, a lot of items went of a lot of money but remember the Wild Hairy Haggis i found, it went into the auction at £16 and went up to like £25, then someone asked if all the money was going to the charity which it was, i guessed that they would bid something silly like £50, nope Five Hundred Pounds, my jaw still hasn't shut properly yet ^^

Sunday

me and Awkore spent the morning on the con ops desk so we missed the pool tournament but i took part in the pub quiz, which i was rubbish at, im not good at that kind of stuff but it was fun.

the Furryvision song contest was again excellent and had some amazing singers again this year.

Highland fling
Awkore DJ'd during the highland fling, and he was amazing even though he will deny it.

Monday
The Group Photo was fun, with lots of making silly faces and Smitnoff being silly

Closing Ceremony

This was the end of the Convention, it was probably the best con ive ever been too, and i enjoyed being a part of making it so.

well its been a few months since i posted up a new journal so i think ill update a bit
1.Mondeo decided to eat its own flywheel which would have been £1000 to get fixed couldn't afford it so we traded it in for
a Suzuki Vitara soft top in Miami blue, it had it problems but we fixed those now, plan to fit bull bars and spot lights along with getting a new roof when we have the money

2. work is still boring and crap but im hoping with the senin of a letter that i will get the full holiday im entitled to as im not getting enough to cover all the things and places i want to go to

3.  Awkore is the most amazing loveable sweet person ever and i love him very much

4. Looking forward to Frantic Eufuria in just 3 weeks time, always good fun ^^

5. Scotiacon will be a blast this year, Everyone behind it have worked so hard to make it come together so i hope your going to support them

6. Confuzzled, ive got my costume almost ready for Confuzzled, but i aint saying what it is because it'll spoil it

yes My dell Inspiron 17R arrived and i love it, its so fast, its the first brand new computer ive ever had and im enjoying

after the old XPS died on us ive been using an old packardbell easy note (and will continue to do so untill the new laptop arrives)

i just spent £529 on the new laptop and im hoping it will be up to the job

Well i spent yesterday night in Salcombe

My Grandmother died last year and after much diccussion what should be done with the ashes we decided to get both my granddad's ashes and my grans ashes and spread them in the sea outside Salcombe,it was a lovely day, sunny and it really couldnt have been nicer and it was a lovely touching moment.

Now to my shocking and frankly disgusting news

My best Friend, Owen Lloyd Price, died on June the 5th 2006 at the age of 17 of unknown causes in hospital, he had nothing serious wrong with him and his death was a huge shock to his family and friends,

it was later deicided that he death was caused mostly be negligence of the doctors on duty that night who were unable to revive him.

now just s few weeks ago after a massivly long and overly complicated court case they have finally paid out for his death

the ammount they paid: £20,000

twenty thousand pounds for the death of a young man who hadnt even started his life yet

the reason it was so small, he didnt have a family or spouse that needed support, so his life was obviously worthless, the fact he was 17 and didnt even have a chance to start a family doesnt matter, nor that it spilt his parents up and seperated his adopted brother and sister from their mother


i fucking hate the world, where somone gets more money for being a dick and spilling coffee on himself and suing that company than somones family gets for losing their son.

As some of you know i havent been very well lately, with chest infection, asthma, cough, anxiety and such

now i am starting to get better, but i haven't been very active for the past month or so because of all this illness and ive only just started becoming more active again recently

i hope this bug or whatever goes away soon and i can go back to being my normal bouncy self and go to meets and see people who i miss very much

So yes my health ain't been great recently but.I have a diagnosis of anxiety, which I'm currently taking anti depressants.for so hopefully ill be better soon,

I've got some new story ideas coming up when I'm feeling better, so.look out for those stories
