Hey guys, as the title says, I am looking for an artist to try sketching/drawing a new character design for my tigertaur.

He is still a winged tigertaur, but in this form he will be completely robotic, in much the same style Sonny was in i-Robot (with Will Smith).

It would help if they already enjoy drawing all sorts of robots, don't mind taking commissions of new characters that don't have ref sheets..

Well, that just about sums it up. It looks like I have some extra vacation time to spend somewhere this year. It's a real bummer that so few of people were able to ruin something for a whole lot of people. And it's not just us, there are other Cons that the hotels and conference grounds have not been smiling upon lately.

Heh! Just dreamed it last night.. first in a VERY long time. I think it was a mix between some RP ideas for FurrySpace, and work conversations about cats having to breed to stay alive.. O.o very odd.. It gave me a good idea for a plot base though. We arrive at this planet colony, and the thing looks like a volcano has gone off.. a layer of dark grey dust covers everything about 4 inches deep. The place is completely deserted. As we walk into one of the buildings, the inside is covered just as much as the outside. Plants everywhere bent over and whithering, dead from no light. As we make our way into the room, it becomes apparent that there are actually people in the place as well, but they are all cowering against the far wall. We progress into the kitchen and find that it's been abandoned.. food left on the table, the counter, in the refrigerators.. everything covered in the dust and a thick layer of mold, inches thick. It turns out that the people had forgotten how to eat.. not cook, but how to eat. They only survivied by breeding faster than they were dieing... anyways.. enough of that.

Well, today began nearly 30 hours ago. After work, I drove up to my friends house and picked him up, then brought him back to my house. The next morning, after a lazy breakfast, we got out of here by around 10 or so, and The Rocket Ship landed in SeaTac around 7 in the evening. That's a lot of driving.. even for me.

We checked out where the convention grounds were, then went and found our hotel, parked, moved in, and walked the 1.1 Miles to the con. I can't say that I'm in the best of shape, so I was a little more than slightly sweaty at that point. For the next 5 hours, I milled about RainFurrest. Dealers den had already closed so I ended up going to a couple classes. My friend has elected to pull an all nighter there... (not the smartest move in my opinion,) And I am planning a date with a feather pillow in short order.. We'll see what tomorrow brings, maybe I'll be up to walking again.. might be good, maybe it's a better idea to drive..

I just thought of this.. Who of you, on my watch list, will be attending? I'd kinda like to say Hi to a few of you. :)

Heya, I am planning on attending the 2014 Rainfurrest. I was wondering if there are others from the Southern Oregon area (Medford, Ashland, GrantsPass) that might be inclined to go with us. It would help with gas and the hotel bill, but food and registration is your responsibility. The hotels I have found are a little over one mile away, so it won't be a "run downstairs" sort of thing, unfortunately. The Hilton and the partnering hotel were both booked solid, and they cost a small fortune for each night. I have yet to concrete the dates and times I am driving up and back, but I will update that in a couple days.

I got it into my head a couple scenarios for stories.. short little blurbs meant more to set a thought in the mind than a short story, but anyways..
