I know I have't been as active on here as I once used to be, but i just wanted to Thank all of you who follow me. To the newbies who are just now being corrupted by this fandom, to old friends who have been here for years. Thank you all. It's been a wild ride, and I look forward to what the future holds. And most importantly, Thank You to all the amazing artists who have helped bring some rather different ideas to life! Truly, without the artists, this page would hardly exist.

YES! This will be the first time ever suiting for me. Some friends of mine will be helping me out too.

Honestly, I have no clue. I don't make plans, because plans never seem to work out. It's more fun to just wing it. But if you'd like to visit or say hi, just hit me up. I think that info is in the next section.

Ask first. As long as I don't have other plans, i don't see why you couldn't come.

So the other night I finally made an online dating profile. It's a furry dating website (yes i'm furry trash, i know), and it probably won't be worth a thing, but I'm finally to that point where I think I want to give it a go. We'll see what happens I guess.

Happy October, guys and gals!

I haven't posted an update journal in a while, so here goes nothing.

1. The Changing Leaves
The temps are dropping, the leaves are changing, and it's Halloween month. Need I say anymore about why October is simply awesome?! Autumn is honestly in a tie with winter for my favorite time of the year. I'm looking forward to the sights and sounds of the season. And as far as Pumpkin Spiced stuff goes, i'm afraid to tell you that it has nothing on Apple Cider.

2. Job Searching
Even though I landed a full time job with the organization that i've been at for the past 4 years, I'm actively looking for a new job. I'm not exactly the happiest with where I'm at, and I really want to try to find a position where I can use my degree. About 90% of the jobs locally require a nursing degree, or they're OTR truck driving jobs. I was lucky enough to secure an interview with the State of WV for a job with them but 1. it's not anything that goes with my schooling and 2. i'd be taking a pay cut. On the plus side, it's closer to home and there could be an engineering position that i could slide in to with time. I'm still not sure what to do, and it's been bothering me.

3. Stay Local or Leave
I've always been a homebody, and I've been proud of that. I've always wondered what it'd be like to move away to the city area, especially Pittsburgh. I love traveling to the city area, but I don't think I could handle it. I would love to give it a try, especially if i had a job there, and I had somebody going with me. Between family, being on the FD, and being single, this is just a curious dream of mine.

4. Relationship Status is still pretty obvious
Yeah, still single, and that's just fine. I think my parents are getting a little concerned about it. They know I don't go to places to hook up with others, or that I never take a date to a wedding, and other minor things like such. I keep telling them that they're going to be the grandparents to about 3 dogs one day though.

5. I'm kinda Broken
I've had days where i just silently freak out to myself. I've been amazed though by how many people tell me i worry too much about stuff. I thought I did a fair job at covering that up, but apparently not as well as anticipated. Recently, I've had a few spells that have really freaked me out. I'm not sure if it was an anxiety attack or what, but a very dear friend of mine helped me through the most recent one. If she's reading this, Thank you again. I won't embarrass you by calling you out.

6. Yes, there's more art coming
I suck at posting art, so that means there's a backlog of stuff to be posted. Some stuff is just the same old cute and silly stuff, while other stuff is more heart tearing as I try to think up a good tear jerking story to go along with it. sorry for toying with your emotions lol

7. I don't recall volunteering for this
I swear, when you let others find out you can do something, they'll automatically draft you/stick you with doing a job. I don't mind it though since i'm getting to help. But i've got a few major events to prepare for come November, so October is the month of busting arse to make sure everything gets done.

8. Group chats/Events/etc
Always looking to become more active in this fandom, especially with groups that interest me. If anybody has a group chat that might be interesting, let me know please.

9. Questions, Comments, Etc.

10. It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Last but not least, let's not forget that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. To anybody who has personally experienced it, known somebody who has, or has lost somebody from it: Stay Strong. It's a hell of a thing. You have a network of friends, family, and survivors who are here for you. Cancer is nasty, it doesn't matter what kind it is. So even though we focus this month towards the awareness of breast cancer, let us not forget to be awareness of all the different types we are vulnerable to. A cure cannot come fast enough.

Thank you, Anthrocon: My Post Con Report



Anthrocon 2016 has come and gone, and boy was it a blast! This year marked the 20th year that the furry convention has been held, and what an amazing theme they had for the celebration; The Roaring 20s. The art and costumes of the fursuiters were beautiful. So much hard work and dedication from the staff, artists, and entertainers were put into the con. There were a few issues with name badges, but I was grateful that I had no issues. Let’s face it, shit happens, and I’m sure they’ll have that issue cleared up by AC2017.


This year I also attended a few panels, and they all seemed pretty interesting. Wish there was an Ohiofurs meet up, but hopefully next year there will be one. The fursuit parade, my goodness, I didn’t think it was ever going to end. The official number for the parade was 2100 participants, and lasted around 1hour (approximately). I loved seeing all the fursuiters, and I’m really hoping that by next year, I’ll have a partial suit made up of Pow.


Speaking of Pow, this weekend I decided to finally let loose and be more like my fursona. It was unimaginable how great the feeling was. For the first time in my life, I was able to be me. I did not have to put on a show and hide who I was, instead I indulged in it. I didn’t do anything majorly different, but instead it was the little things that felt liberating. Getting to wear the pair of high top converse shoes I’ve kept in the closet for the past 2 years, showing off my Pow badge that I got from  Vallhund (which is amazing!), not having to hide my furry side, and just getting to geek out over the different sights. But what was even more enjoyable was getting to meet and hang out with friends that I’ve meet here in the fandom, and even meeting new faces. To those I had the chance to hang out with, I thank you so much. You folks made the con fun and worth the trip. Seriously, thank you all to who I got to meet. It was a blast, and I hope we all get to hang out again.


But now, I’m back home once again, waiting on the next AC. The converse shoes are off, and the boots are back on. Its back to hiding, but that’s just the nature of the beast when you’re a fur in disguise. So I just wanted to say Thank you, to Anthrocon. Thank you for the opportunity to meet up with friends, enjoy the atmosphere, and allowing me to be…..me. Thank you. It hurt like hell to pack up in leave, but it was a bittersweet feeling to escape reality for a few days.
