Prepawsterous X Pichuurisu X Lovepawsie
Posted 2 years agoIn case people are wondering why I have several watermarks on my postings here.
Pichuurisu is a "brand" I made on Twitter, mostly for streaming content and other stuff. It is also under the name PawsieCat on twitter which I might change in the future.
LovePawsie is my other Twitter account. But mostly for NSFW content and for the comic project I have.
Both I guess are under my "Prepawsterous" brand, I'm too attached to this username to change it haha. Hopefully I can organize things in the future so they make more sense.

Has anyone experience this?
Posted 6 years agoLast Friday night, me and my friends decided to watch the yearly fireworks display where I used to study in college. Honestly, I was never a fan of fireworks and only watched twice in our school.
The fireworks initially looks great but I think the last part was a "bit strong" whereas the loud sounds and bright lights made me 'scared' resulting to me continuously screaming and heavy breathing until my friend finally calmed me.
I never experienced that in a fireworks before, and even in horror movies my usual reaction would just be being startled. I mostly scream as a result in having breakdowns from some thing. My initial diagnosis(during screening) was depression, is that a factor of that behavior or is it a more common thing(hopefully)
For people who are wondering why I am posting it here rather than asking a professional is because I'm already scheduled to see one around January, so I had to wait til then and it just got me curious and paranoid at the same time. I don't really post something like these to my RL social media as I'm always afraid of people I know that may judge me.
Honestly Im scared from that experience. Most of the time people judged me from my unusual behavior similar to that and it's really uneasy for me not knowing the proper reasons.

:Fired from Fulltime Job(Update):
Posted 6 years agoHi! Been a while from my last update.
For the past months I haven't been really feeling good. Aside from conflicts with close friends, I've been feeling empty and somewhat anxious due to my previous work. It worsen til I broke down last November and they decided to let me go. Honestly I do not intend on lasting long in my past job but their immediate decision to just kick me out of the office really worsen my condition.
I've already started using anti-depressant meds as prescribed from the doctor and fortunately the time out of job did also helped me get better a lot, but of course, it will still be a dilemna for me to think about how to help myself on financial terms.
I'm not sure I could take another fulltime work until I can assure myself not to breakdown or be depressed again, but will definitely find way to continue pursuing the course I take up(Industrial Design) in some ways. For now I might have to double taking commission works here at FA/DA, who knows, maybe this can be a better way for me to balance things I like.
I'm very grateful for my past and current commissioners for the patience. Though there may be some delays from time to time especially with crafts, but I make sure not to run away with anything and have them executed in good quality. I'm currently working on them now, hopefully be finishing them soon. The goal is to properly balance doing crafts while making digital works and at the same time have time for design projects, hopefully be early next year I could properly handle them.

:Resuming Commissions:
Posted 6 years agoThank you very much for being patient and for your support! I've slowly finished some art commissions and was already sent.
Because I'm living in a diff area during the weekdays, I can only work on craft commissions during the weekend that's why they're taking longer. After posting some finished works here, I will be open to ychs and commissions again!
REST ASSURED, despite my daily inactivity, I never really run away from existing commissions. But if ever you needed updates in the future while I'm not around, you are free to contact my personal email. prepawsterous[at]gmail.com .
Thank you

Commissions/YCH delayed
Posted 6 years agoI'm disappointed not to be able to finish the current to do's for Valentines; unfortunately I haven't been feeling well mentally. Aside from a busy work schedule, I haven't been able to think properly or be able to understand what I have been feeling. Been irritated and down; sometimes I just tear up for simple things. For now, I just want to rest and keep myself distracted, hopefully to feel better soon and be able to finish my owed arts.
I apologized for the delay. I know I usually become slower in progress from time to time but I can reassure that it is not intended to scam you guys. I may respond a little late but I'll always be here.
I will try my best to finish them by March.
Thank you for understanding.

Posted 6 years agoI've seen people being able to decorate their profile bio and as I plan on becoming more active here, I want to fix my page with links and other things. I can pay or offer artwork in exchange.
:Any Recommended Streaming site:
Posted 6 years agoMight consider doing monthly livestream of art and was wondering is there any recommended site you know?
I used to do livestream with join.me but the problem with it is it was a maximum of 10 people(unless you pay for it)
Insights are appreciated!

Drawing Tablet Died(+Commission Update)
Posted 7 years agoAfter five years of service, my Wacom Bamboo finally gave up; it was a long time and definitely a great journey having my Wacom around in my art journey. It's quite disheartening losing something specual to you, but still I'm grateful that my tablet lasted for a quite a long time.
Commissions may be a bit delayed until I find a replacement for my drawing tablet(hopefully I'll be able to borrow my friend's soon) But hopefully will be able to finish all drawing commissions before January ends.

:Thank You(A year of Art):
Posted 7 years agoI can't thank everyone enough for supporting me for the year 2018. I know I've always been the artist who can't focus on producing art daily or frequently. But despite my common inactivity, I still prefer not leaving this site as I want to continue sharing(and hopefully to inspire) my artworks with you all!
I'm hoping 2019 will be another amazing year not only for my art career, but for everyone's art journey.
As a summary of my art journey for the year 2018, it was always been a struggle, especially art only being a hobby for me, to keep on producing artworks to people to enjoy. But despite the long and short hiatuses, there's always been a desire to keep on creating art, regardless the fear constant fear of returning back.
I've learn a lot of things. I could surely say that I've learned to experiment more on forms and poses lately, especially during December. I've also started learning to create artisan dolls, I'm trying to return back to loving traditional artforms and crafts. Working in a figurine manufacturer for 3 months also allowed me to take risks in playing with different shades of colors.
What I'm definitely grateful for this year, is getting to read comments from familiar users and getting interests in commissioning for my artwork, despite my inactivity, or getting to hear from new users that I was able to give an impact to their art journey. And despite I'm not able to reply to most comments, please do know that I always appreciate them.
My art journey wouldn't be as much heartwarming without you guys <3
This 2019 I want to further continue what I've started last year, but hopefully as more active as I can. Maybe disciplining myself to produce at last one artwork per month can be a good routine for my growth as a digital artist. I will also reopen my patreon as a way to discipline myself by making goals per month.
I want to start drawing indoor artpieces, inspired from the homes in Animal Crossing, especially as I've become more comfortable in drawing anthropomorphic creatures, plus it is something I haven't prioritize in learning for the past years.
I will continue making artdolls, and learning new crafts this year, there's always that special feeling if you see your art in a tangible form(like your own baby).
My growth as an artist may not be as fast, but I can proudly say that it's not stopping anytime soon.
Anyways, thank you again,
thank you if you've taken the time reading this!
Happy New Year everyone!

Posted 7 years agoPlease check out my patreon: https://www.patreon.com/user?u=739259
The time I made my patreon page, I wasn't able to focus on this because of time conflicts with my college life. Now that I've graduated, I've decided to discipline myself to have time to create more art, and to properly balance my art and design profession. I've been creating artworks for 5 yrs and want to continue drawing adorable creatures for more years to come. So I decided to reopen this patreon because, it's the best way I could think of to continue doing this as a hobby; with given milestones and quantitative outputs(per update), this will be able to drive me to create art more frequently.
As I plan to continue on making my patreon active, I've also editted some of the tiers and milestone goals. Before, I see my patreon as more of a "tip jar" for me, but now I realize I would need any amount to help me out in continuing my digital art journey on the side, and maybe in the future, be able to fund me in further exploring more ways to express art. Hope these minor edits will be okay with you guys as well!
So once again, welcome to my patreon! Hope you'll consider becoming part of my journey :3

Furrypinas 2018(+update)
Posted 7 years agoI thought to visit a Furrycon here in the Philippines, it's the first time they've hosted a con like this here in our country and I'm really happy about the idea that there is a community of furries here <3
I've never visited any furry-related con ever so I really don't know what to expect; but I'm sure I'll be able to enjoy it. Maybe in the future I'll be able to have my own booth for selling artworks or have my own fursuit of Palette I can wear in conventions like that.
Definitely learning to make a fursuit will be something I may consider doing this year(at least learn to make a head for now), compare to selling artworks and prints, I see myself selling crafts and maybe toys(like the project I'm doing now). We'll see.
As for updates, I'm currently finishing owed artworks on my spare time. I would like to thank everyone for the support for my art, unfortunately I'm still having hard time to juggle on making art and my current profession, but I'm trying the best that I can ^^

Taking a short break (Commission Update)
Posted 7 years agoJust a heads up that turnover with my current YCHs will be a bit slower. Will be returning back to job after two weeks of break and due to continuously staring at the laptop to draw, I've felt a bit stress on drawing and want to slow down a bit.
May post some traditional art on spare time if I can and will try to at least try to finish one per weekend
Thank you for understanding <3

: Trial poseable toy of their OC?(CLOSED):
Posted 8 years agoHere goes...
Back when I was younger, crafts and clay were something I really like to do. I've grown with that eagerness to learn more about making toys, I've made some during school breaks samples: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17156740/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17135083/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16883062/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/13646350/
Despite my lack of outputs due to busy schedule and being too dependent on earning money as a digital artist back then, I've invested a time researching on crafts through process videos of people and different clays that I can claim as my "perfect material" to use.
Besides digital arts and design, I hope that one day I get a chance to actually earn something out of this hobby that makes me happy and this time I really want to try it out.
I thought of opening an experimental toy custom, wherein I take your OC as a "guinea pig" and create a toy of it.
This is the most recent I've made: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/24049617/ as you can see, I want to explore much on the interactiveness of the toy.
So how will this process be? (please take note of this if you are interested)
-Toy will be about 3" in height.
-I'll take one slot(not first come first serve) and I will take $55 for it(with $25 paid beforehand)
-I would do this toy during my spare time(mostly on weekends, surely it will take months, but I WILL SURELY KEEP YOU UPDATED just to justify the cost you paid for it.
-Due to it's somewhat cheap price, I would prefer most freedom out of it(materialwise, style, process)
Comment if interested, feel free to ask me regarding this project(how I may envision your oc as a toy, etc..)
I really want 2018 to be a more productive year for me! I would really be thankful for those who may be interested ^^
