Hello all of you sweet, sweet watchers! I have gotten a few requests for commissions while my slots are closed, and I wanted to explain a little bit!

I don't want to bring anyone down with specifics, but...

A lot of important things suddenly sprung up for me all at once, and I have decided that I won't be taking new commissions until things clear up a bit. The YCH I have on my to do list is still going to be completed, so no worries on that, I just won't be able to take on new projects while I'm handling these things.

Since it was suggested, I've set up a wait list for anyone who would like to receive a slot upon this hiatus ending. If you'd like to be added to it, feel free to note me. Payment is not expected until you're moved from the wait list to a commission slot, but I will contact you as soon as I'm able to take your commission.

I hope this isn't too much of an inconvenience to anyone. I'm seriously hoping this hiatus won't last too long, but it could be anywhere between a few days and a month, depending on how things go. Thank you all for bearing with me.

I'll try and keep you updated! And maybe if I'm able to, I'll post some personal stuff in the meantime, after I finish the YCH of course.

I'm feeling!!! Weirdly good right now!!! I've been going through a huuuge art slump recently, but it seems to be gone today aaahhhh ........rolls around in delight..........

I wanna do pwyw commissions at some point soon, but theres a ych i kinda wanna post too? But I should really be finishing the stuff I have before I go starting up new work for myself......... I am short some money for holiday expenses so I'd like to encourage a little more business! I have a bunch of possible ychs I could put up... But no takers for the last two have me a little anxious about that. I don't mind if no one is interested in them, but I don't want to offer things that no one wants, so I would really love the input of all you lovely watchers to determine what I should be focusing on. I could also do pwyw commissions, more complexity the higher the price?

If I were to continue doing ychs what sort would people like to see? Nsfw? Couple? Group? Mundaine? And do people prefer auctions or flat rates? I tend to get more traffic on auctions, so that's what I've been focusing on, but maybe I'm just misreading?

I've still got 2 commission slots if anyone's interested :) I know a few people were asking after slots while they were closed, so I wanna make sure people know!

But the main point of this journal is actually more so, now that I've finished that backlog I've got a few plans outside of regular commissions.

If I work uo to it later tonight or tomorrow I'll be posting some Halloween/monster themed adopts I've been doodling, as well as possibly a YCH or two I've been holding onto/refining. [edit: I've also been thinking about doing a pokemon based flash sale... it'd be a little different, but I am a huge pokemon fan, so I'm leaning towards it....]

But I wanted my watcher's opinions on something I've been thinking about doing!

Since October is coming soon, I wanted to do some fun Halloween stuff. The monster adopts were the first of this, but I was thinking about doing something witch-y! I've got a list of themed witches and I was curious what people thought would be more fun, a bunch of themed YCHs, or themed adopts of different witches?

Hrrrffff I'm gonna try my best to get at least one of the flash sale pages out today. I've been swamped with irl responsibilities and mental illness things, not to mention my drawing hand has been intermittently experiencing pain (I need to take a break from drawing whenever that happens to avoid getting a serious injury) so those are the reasons things have been pretty slow...

But I have three of the sale pages in progress right now, so I should be able to pump some stuff out as soon as I'm actually able to sit down and draw. (Which is today! I hope!)

Woo I am back! I'm still a little busier than I used to be, but in general I can actually concentrate on drawing again which is a huge relief!

I'm planning on doing a new flash sale some time soon, probably within the next week or so..? It's likely gonna be focused on sequential art (Like transformation, pregnancy, age-up, that sort of thing) because I don't think people realize in general I'm willing to do that sort of art~

This is mostly just a heads up, slash a place for me to put my thoughts out, but if anyone does read this, and has ideas for things they'd like to see possible sales for in the future I'm interested in hearing your ideas :)

So I'm a disabled individual, I've been diagnosed with OCD and Depression for a good portion of my life and it makes most things very very hard. I don't really want to go into specifics, but suffice to say I'm not able to hold a 'normal' job due to my mental illnesses. Doing commissions and such on this site has been very good for me, it's been making me feel useful and of value in general, as well as helping me think of things to draw, since I enjoy drawing based on direction quite a bit. Not to mention the money has been a monumental help in financing some much needed things for my living situation, such as food for myself and the 6 other people I live with. (right now I'm saving up for a new pair of glasses/an appointment with an eye doctor, since mine are getting seriously out of date)

When I don't have any commissions, my OCD acts up in a pretty annoying way, and I'm trying to experiment with ways to counteract that. This is gonna be an experiment to that end. Basically a no stress, no commitment cache of ideas to draw from when I need something to focus on and have nothing else. It also kinda doubles as a nice way to give out thank you's to watchers who have been supporting me. So just... read the directions below and post if you're interested!!! Thank you <3</sub>

I'm looking to do little warm up sketches every once in a while to help with concentration and flow.
They'll just be sketches, probably not colored, but who knows you might get lucky? These are an opportunity to just get some free art, but shouldn't be placed if you have expectations on timeframe or quality.

Here's what you do.

In this journal, just make a comment with a link to your character ref and a small description of what they're like.

If you want to put in more than one character PLEASE make a separate comment as well.

These won't be done in order, won't be picked with a random number generator or anything, just me looking through them, and they won't be subject to touch ups or other edits after they are made. If you'd like something more done with a freebie you can contact me and we can work out a price! Doing more to freebies would definitely be less expensive than a normal commission.

I'm looking for some input from watchers!

I'm going to be finishing up my queue pretty soon, after which I'll be completing the next update of my comic. Then I'll have free time until the update deadline! I have a few different ideas for stuff to do...

I have a YCH comic I'm not sure I should post, since comics are labor intensive and therefore out of a lot of people's price ranges.

I've also been thinking of doing sketch pages? (Draw a bunch of doodles of someone's character, then they choose ones to be colored, probably for an extra charge? then they get the whole sheet) I've seen a few examples of them around and they seem fun.

I could also flesh out the dragon species I've been working on and put up info in case anyone wants to make one?? I'm not really sure how open/semi-open/closed species work, and which one I'd want them to fall under, since I don't think they're necessarily an idea no one else in the world has thought of before? They're just my brain child I guess? I dunno, I'm hesitant about it.

Also contemplating headshot adopts? But only so much detail in a design can be shown through headshots? I also dislike choosing species myself, I feel like I'm less interesting without outside input on a project...

Then, I could also try writing a small comic about Noah and Ali so I actually have an example of comics on my gallery... But that wouldn't really benefit anyone but me? And it'd be a longer term commitment, since comics are, as I said, labor intensive.

I dunno!

I don't want to start too many things at once, since I do have other commitments now, so I'm looking for input on what people would like to see.

I could also just whip up more YCHs as I think of them? But without a direction, there's a chance I'll become less active since I need focuses or I search for new ones...

My comic started back up today~ This is very exciting for me and my co author but it also has a side effect I wanted to warn for here....

I'll be slower in getting commissions out starting in May.
That means from now on, there's a likely chance your commission will take more than a day or two to complete!
I'm still taking commissions, and the commissions and raffle prizes I've got presently are being worked on, but I might not be posting something every day anymore.

This is mostly just a warning for people, since I get anxious not letting people who've given me money know what's happening with their art.

I don't have a computer right now, it broke down hardcore a few months ago (most of my commissions are going towards getting a new one :p) so I'm using my surface pro exclusively. Which is fine it's what I draw with anyway it's not effecting the quality of my work but I recently started looking into streaming because it seems fun, I've done it a few times with friends in the distant past... But I'm pretty sure my surface can't handle the program while clip studio is also open........

I'm a little bummed about it, since it takes streaming basically completely off the table, but I'm not sure if I'm just not doing it right;;

I do wish I could stream, I think it's a fun activity to do, even if only one or two people showed up. But Gosh darn I'm either incompetent or unlucky as all hey because I have no idea how to make it work.

(Once again this is mostly a vent feel free to ignore it~!!)

Update: Whoops I did as suggested and figured the program out better and I think I actually can! So I'll probably try it then~
