The American Dream

This is a message to the United States Government, and to the rich people of the country who actually DO their taxes, and DO NOT commit tax fraud.
The "American Dream" was a possibility that could have happened, and at some years in history, the United States was CLOSE to it, but no cigar. At the moment, it's merely a fairy tale.
Issue #1: Tax Fraud
to the rich, and to the government of the United States; if you want the American Dream to become real? Go after ALL the rich that commit tax fraud...and all the criminally sane are to be sent to MAXIMUM SECURITY PRISONS for their crimes...as well as of course, having those CRIMINALLY INSANE, to be sent to INSANE ASYLUMS. (I get that folks sent by government are finally trying, but it's gonna take a while.)
Issue #2: Legal option for free general health care:
To help make the American Dream happen, lower and middle class citizens among people should have the right to a good free general health care, that would pay for ONLY that people actually NEED, for their life...including with sickness, eye care, medicines, and the like. (Even IF there are limits to the general health care plan.) But if we DON'T think about this, and doctors don't even TRY to put the patient before the money? The overall American society hereby ENCOURAGES people to do illegal drugs, as a last resort!
My point is, the Untied States has TERRIBLE health care, to the point where hospitals are more about money, than the patient in need...thus, forcing poorer citizens into debt or health problems. But when it comes to certain things like plastic surgery or sex change? That's another story all-together.
I mean, why not think more like Canada, when it comes to health care? They aren't under a dictatorship, AND people are still being payed for their hard work. In fact, there's MUCH that Canada does better as an overall country; even to the point where the United States should look up to it as a ROLE MODEL, when it comes to law and capitalism. (With PaladinDBoy, a GameJolt user's concerns? Racism will exist in ANY country; I get that. But the United States is an even BIGGER mess...especially with the United States being a country that mostly ENCOURAGES littering, and with most states not even TRYING to encourage recycling, to limit pollution in the world, to keep it from being OUTRIGHT DESTROYED!)
Issue #3: Recycling and factories
In addition? There's another way to make the American Dream exist; FACTORIES THAT USE RECYCLED MATERIALS, for mass production!
With this, companies not only save money in the economy, but also encourage saving the environment, by limiting pollution in the world!
Heck, if we did this? This could be a good way to help with unemployment, across the entire United States! (AND pre-existing factory buildings, if still in decent condition, can be recycled and fixed up!)
Issue #4: Drought
An obvious problem that the United States had for YEARS!
But to help with this? The United States government could invest in an aqueduct system, so the entire United States could have rights to the water it needs...including water to keep plants growing! (Especially for farmers to grow their crops, as well as people in need to drink water.)
It may take YEARS to build. But if they did this? The United States would help the world, with WORLD HUNGER!
Issue #5: Materialism
THE BIGGEST PROBLEM in the United States, that made the economy even WORSE.
I mean, I get it; a little something new now and then wouldn't hurt...but materialism? It's an abomination that is the BIGGEST cause of pollution.
With this involved? Materialists aren't even TRYING to encourage recycling, or think of the bigger picture. In fact, materialism is NOT ideal.
If I WANTED materialism? I could have lived under a dictatorship.
Issue #6: Public transporation
Some people aren't able to legally DRIVE a car...and to help improve on capitalism? We NEED more public transporation.
If we did this? The American Dream WON'T DIE...heck, improving on public transportation would be ideal!
Issue #7: Gun control
An obvious problem...too many people argue over the "right to bear arms" issue.
With the United States, involved? What I would advise to handle this issue is this; DON'T ban the sales of firearms; simply BAN THE SALES OF LETHAL AMMO, instead! (Instead of lethal ammo, gun companies should sell non-lethal ammo made out of natural rubber!)
If people that aren't of groups like military or C.I.A. NEED lethal ammo? They can simply make it from scratch...including by means of recycled scrap metals.
That is all I have to say about "The American Dream" issue.

To begin with, racism is nothing more than discrimination against another race.
Based on looking at this video? Let's look at it closely. I guess that "ching chong" is nothing more than nonsense gibberish, with India comparing to China to stereotypes, but...from here? The stereotype feels lighthearted & nonsensical, but let's face it; there will be stereotypes around, no matter WHERE you live. But hey; at least India isn't poking fun at anyone's skin color; THAT would DEFINITELY be racist!
But in response? China apparently decided to poke fun at the skin color of various people from India...now THAT is racist! (I mean, that's just like the racially insensitive humor of blackface & whiteface, all over again.)
In comparison, which has more racism, in a country? China.
To the people of China; what would Queen Elisabeth do? That would be to make peace with other nations, rather than find an excuse to find conflict against other nations...so, if Xi Jinping is reading this? I advise him to cancel any war against other nations, and simply try to be SMARTER, by capitalizing on things such as internet servers, streaming services, and the like...making off money from such things off NOTHING more than ads, and cheap monthly fees to leave them blocked out. If they did that? They could simply BUY OUT another country, when it begins to have financial problems SO massive, that a new government thinking of people's practical needs would CONVINCE a poorer government to sell their nation.
So, please; if you think your so smart? Why not focus on more peaceful methods, through things like diplomacy...and simply leave military as a last resort, via self defense against foreign invaders?

General | Posted 2 years agoAs of today? I'm preparing legally commercial physical copies of some of my old PC games (from outside GOG.com) to be sold online, at cheap prices...on eBay.
I plan to do so, to make some spare cash in this bad economy...and to help myself get some spare cash, in case I need it for something; that's all.

The bad news? My first Nintendo Switch is beyond repair; it's bluetooth connectivity chip is FRIED. (Luckily, since the tech repair folks at a business couldn't fix that? They're not charging my ANY money, for it.)
The good news? I can take it to GameStop, and try to get some store credit for it, to help me afford a NEW Nintendo Switch! (I'm thinking of getting the OLED model, so I can used an ethernet cable, to guarantee a better connection for online docked gameplay!)
That is all I have to say, for now...which means that tomorrow? I'm going to be busy and briefly out of town for at LEAST a few hours. (Including for lunch, if possible and necessary.)
My advice, before I end this journal entry:
If you MUST get a digital copy of a video game from a DRM based service for your console? Make sure you're not able to find a physical copy that will work PROPERLY on your Nintendo Switch at a reasonable price, first! (For example; NOT being around 60 us dollars or less!)

A good warning; if you're going to get an Outlook account? DON'T; it's not worth you losing all your bought games or ANY of your accounts.
So, when you can? PLEASE; change your e-mail address to a different site like Mail or Protonmail, and DELETE YOUR OUTLOOK ACCOUNT...because OUTLOOK IS EVIL...even making Blizzard Entertainment look good.

What I would start for an independent business!

If I had to start an independent business in a small town? I know of just the thing; a hobby store that doubles as a video arcade! (And also sells various gaming stuff, including video game stuff, too!)
In other words, to be different than most hobby stores? It would also sell video game related stuff, too!
That way? I can make a small town more interesting, that way! (And within time? I'll aim for getting tools for recycling plastics and metals, to also do my part to benefit the environment and the economy, in a creative way.)
And now for something completely different...and SFW, of course! (Strictly clean and G-rated, in fact.)

My advice? DO NOT buy a new Windows PC! If you must buy a new PC? You'd be better off with Linux Ubuntu, or EVEN the old DOS operating system; seriously!
Microsoft; if you're reading this? PLEASE; STOP making new versions of Windows and stick with going 3rd party in the computer market; INCLUDING with video games and software!

General | Posted 3 years agoHere's some advice about what I noticed about so-called "Christian" fundamentalism...and so? For all of those folks that are religious, I advise to share this to encourage peace; not war.
Issue #1: DON'T force others to change!
Well, first of all, forcing people to change is NOT the way to handle things! That's literally the same as making someone pledge blindly. And you know who encouraged blind pledges without ANY question? THE NAZIS!
Here's the thing; Christianity wasn't created as something to MAKE others believe, but simply encouraging others to choose for themselves.
Here's the problem; freedom of religion is a beautiful thing; to be respected. So if these "fundamenatlists" want to bring people to Christianity, DON'T force others; simply go on the modest direction and try to do some good deeds so folks might actually CONSIDER it.
Issue #2: Don't be a blasphemer!
For years, people asked, what IS blasphemy? Well, that's simple; it's harassment with the subject of "religion" being used as an excuse for harassment. For years, a lot to these fundamentalists were saying HATEFUL THINGS and HARASSING PEOPLE, just for "doing the wrong thing".
But here's how I see it; either those people are delusional, or they're just A HATE CULT...and that is not the way that the Jesus Christ of the Christian Bible did, but simply the way of the pharisees according to the Christian Bible, itself.
If you see someone do something wrong, when they're not threatening or harassing anyone, try being respectful and share some advice, instead, and DON'T just "judge" them, either; what if they don't KNOW any better, if they're doing the wrong thing?
There's the sad truth; many people DON'T know any better about some things, but at least some people TRY to do the right thing.

It's true that freedom of religion is a beautiful thing, but here's the thing; to pick a fight with someone JUST because they're not of one's religion or is of another religion is the way of a CULTIST!
If someone is of another religion and it bothers you? YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE FRIENDS! Instead, you can simply make the smart move by being respectful acquaintances, to make peace with. Who knows? Maybe you could invite some folks as guests to a dinner, to celebrate peace and understanding. Because, who knows? That way, you can earn someone's trust, and they may even convert to your religion! (After all; a group that aren't cultists should be based on trust; NOT fear!)

It's true that freedom of religion is a beautiful thing, but here's the thing; to pick a fight with someone JUST because they're not of one's religion or is of another religion is the way of a CULTIST!
If someone is of another religion and it bothers you? YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE FRIENDS! Instead, you can simply make the smart move by being respectful acquaintances, to make peace with. Who knows? Maybe you could invite some folks as guests to a dinner, to celebrate peace and understanding. Because, who knows? That way, you can earn someone's trust, and they may even convert to your religion! (After all; a group that aren't cultists should be based on trust; NOT fear!)

Only having mature rated versions on the side, within pics in one round, if a certain artist requests to have that done, as well. Otherwise, the pics of the round will be kept strictly SFW with barbie doll nudity, only.)
But before you respond to cause controversy, the intention is not to be dirty; maybe a bit suggestive at least, when it comes to the mature rated version, but not of dirty intentions. In fact, I'm trying to take inspiration from old artistic nudity as inspiration, to try and show the body as a beautiful thing...to be respected.

Why I'm quitting YouTube!

Based on seeing this video, I can explain WHY I deleted my YouTube channel and quit YouTube.
First of all, it has NOTHING to do with some clever videos on there; it has to do with "super-strict copyright rules" that are basically being used as an excuse to threaten our rights to be creative. I mean, some of these gameplay videos? When it comes to content that shows "naughty bits", I find the removal understandable; YouTube is NOT a site for certain "questionable content" that is best left unspoken of, in hopes of it being forgotten.
But as far as most of it goes? i can only say this; COME ON, Nintendo! I mean no disrespect to your company, but it's like at least ONE of your employees is being a HIGHLY ego-tistical control freak; just like Xi Jinping and Kim Jong Un!
If banning "Super Smash Bros." franchise game mods in GENERAL from YouTube (as far as nonprofit use, goes) is just being an excuse to threaten one's freedom to express oneself, than it's garbage like "Fred Figglehorn", "Mr. Pickles", and the later episodes of "Family Guy" that DEFINE YouTube, itself!
In other words? I learned the hard way that YouTube is all about money, and the company no longer cares for it's users' feelings and concerns. And for that? I'm switching to DailyMotion, as a replacement! (At least DailyMotion has FAR less harsh copyright related rules, there!)

400 GB Micro SD Card
General | Posted 3 years agoGood news that happened, today? I just got a new micro SD card at Wal-Mart, when I went out of the house today...with 400 GB of memory! And so, I just installed it for my Nintendo Switch! (Thing is, it will take a while to re-install my games, as well as game update data.)
As for the last used micro SD card that was last on the Switch? (128 GB) I decided to use it for my laptop PC, so I can store extra data on it; that's all I have to say, for now.

My response to the Chick-Fil-A controversy

Based on seeing the #2 entry on "Chick FIl' A", here's my response.
While I do appreciate the CEO's concern about modesty, I feel that the real problem is NOT about people "born differently" in general; the REAL problem is people (regardless of orientation) actually living by their SEXUALITY, rather than idealism.
Out of due respect to his methods, FORCING people to believe is not the way to handle it. If anything, just share some respectful advice without being judgemental of people, so DON'T HARASS for FORCE PEOPLE TO CHANGE; simply try to CONVINCE people your point. I mean, the CEO does speak some truth about people for being self-entitled, arrogant, perverted, and selfish, but that's due to too many people living by their sexuality, rather than trying to make sense of their life. But I don't exactly approve of his methods, either.
I however, don't support pride events, either; too many jerks support those. The first reason of why? LGBT based pride events tend to encourage the negative, untrue stereotype of only STRAIGHT people to be compared to "evil" and "propaganda"; which is not true. In fact, one of the WORST people I knew of was both GAY and someone who gave PAGANS a bad name, as he was a SOCIOPATH AND SODOMITE! Not to mention a REALLY GOOD LIAR!
FACT: My sister (back when she was alive) was married to this hoodlum, (of whom she didn't know WAS in fact, GAY; specifically, someoe who gave gay people a bad name) when he ditched her to leave her for quite a while at the Chick-Fil-A location, of which she was left at and saddened. Luckily, the people, (who probably were aware of the basic idea of what was going on) gave my sister a free chicken sandwich to make sure she doesn't starve, as well as a kind way of supporting her! (And as far as that pervert ex-husband goes, I will not speak of further details from here.) And for that? I will support Chick-Fil-A to an extent, due to such supportive kindness they gave to my sister. But as far as the controversy goes? I won't speak of such details.
The second reason? Regardless of your orientation, public pride events are in fact, a target to attract SEX PREDATORS! And you know what? Fair point.

A few days ago, I did say that my cat (Charlie) was dying; that's because I THOUGHT he was dying, when my parents assumed he was dying.
As it turns out? He's not dying, JUST yet; he's still got AT LEAST a little while left to live! Although we're not sure how long he has left to live, we'll make his life nice and relaxing!

My parents' pet rabbit (Elmo) had just passed away; we didn't know HOW he even died, even.
I am quite saddened by this; he was such a calm little cutie, even!
May he rest in peace...

General | Posted 3 years agoI have some surprisingly good news; with some money that a family relative gave me, I'll be moving into a better town soon, where I'll actually be able to feel more independent, as an individual, and potentially find friends I connect to, in the real world.
In addition, after I took Charlie to the vet, I found out he wasn't dying; he was just sick and needed something to help his immune system. Ever since, the vet gave him an antibiotic shot and now he's able to eat food and drink water, now!
Thing is, I also plan to do something nice with the apartment I currently live in; after I pack my things and manage to get the place I currently live in re-decorated, I'll be moving to a better town; one that is more lively, despite it's imperfections.
As for my parents and brother, they said that they're moving to the same town as well, and get places to live there, as well. Which means the barn that they were going to set up? Well, as it turns out, we won't have time to assemble it at my parents' place in the countryside, so they're going to simply help a neighbor disassemble it, instead. (In other words, they have changed plans.)
That is all I have to say, for now.

As I woke up in the morning, found out my cat Charlie had his mouth swollen, after a bee or some kind of hornet stung him in the mouth, hence why his jaw is kinda open, while he can still meow.
In addition, I went out to some shops located in a larger city than where I live, in addition to going out to a good place for takeout, as well.
Lastly? I soon plan to play a board game I got called "Kill Doctor Lucky"!
That is all I have to say, for now!

General | Posted 3 years agoJust today? I just got some stuff from Lowe's; there was stuff I needed, there. (Unfortunately, my town doesn't have a "Home Depot" location.)
For the hill in someone's big backyard in the countryside? (Which I was given permission to make a house out of) I got myself a pickaxe, so I can try to make one of those houses built underneath hills; it will not only make a great location for a custom house, but also a great tornado shelter!
In addition? I got a couple things bought for making a new shelf in my apartment, so I can work on the awesome "Lego Superheroes" diorama that I always wanted to make! (A temporary spot, at least!)
Until then? Something you can get some good laughs, from! (Strictly SFW, of course!)

I need a new computer desk.
General | Posted 3 years agoSoon, but not tonight, I shall be getting rid of my old computer desk (to be given to a thrift store) and get one that feels more comfortable around Craigslist.
Granted, the wooden chair next to my computer desk (which is the lesser of two probglems) isn't the most comfortable either, but I plan to NOT exactly get rid of it; merely clean it, and then move it to the dining room...as well as get a comfier computer desk chair, as well.
And once I can get a comfortable PC desk setup going? I'll be back to researching video game development...and do a bit of artwork on the side, now and then.
