Great news! I just got my new Skytech PC the other day, and it functions perfectly great! I'm no longer confined by the limits of a Chromebook! HELL YEAH!!!!

Pretty odd decision to me, not gonna lie. I get the move to be more inclusive, but this felt like an odd direction of going about it. I feel like it would've been better making revisions to the dropdown (such as removing the "herm" option and replacing it with "intersex" instead for any submissions that used that gender option) rather than removing it outright.

I seemed to be really trying to get art commissions going over a month ago, but that didn't really get anywhere, so I've decided to close them for the time being. I'm still having to deal with the limits of my Chromebook, which isn't fun, and I've also got other ways to earn money again, so doing commissions isn't really a necessity for me at this time.

WHY ARE SO MANY THINGS DOWN AT THE SAME TIME?!

Remember when I was trying to do that one comic, Limited-Time Offer? The one I kinda bailed out on early?

Might try to bring that back. We'll see how that goes.

Planning on uploading a series of drawings to celebrate the month! Idk if I'll shoot for daily drawings for the whole month yet, but we'll see.

Do not try to add sugar to corn flakes if you don't know what you're doing. Dear god that was a mistake on my end. I can still feel it.

I've been using Whiteboard Fox for all my recent colored drawings because, one, I've used that website for a long time and know how it works, and two, I know it runs smoothly enough on my Chromebook. It's more difficult to do stuff like shading on there because of how it works, but I was just gonna move forward with flat color commissions only because Photopea (the only other website I thought of for drawing at the time that would be better for shading) is PAINFULLY laggy.

HOWEVER, I've just realized that Magma is a smooth experience on my Chromebook, and that's a more traditional style drawing program: much closer to what I normally use on PCs, that being Krita. I'm gonna keep the commission sheet as it is for now, but I will be practicing shading on Magma via side drawings. If I come to enjoy how it works, I will add shaded drawings as an option.

Would you guys be interested in seeing drawing commissions from me at this time? I'm not able to use my main art program, Krita, right this moment because of computer difficulties, but if y'all like my recent output of colored drawings enough (that I'm using a backup drawing software for on my Chromebook), I might consider setting up a commission sheet for y'all. There's ways that I could make this work with the semi-limited resources that I have right now.

Hey, guys. I suppose I should explain what happened earlier considering my account was pending for deletion for a while.
Basically, I got into a really big family argument an hour or so beforehand, and it left me feeling utterly horrible. Really down. After that heated argument happened, I took a shower, and then I was like... I don't know. I just suddenly felt really off about being on here. Maybe I felt it wasn't making me feel great anymore? Like I'd feel better off of here? Another part of it had to do with some of the people I've interacted with on here. Some of those interactions made me feel dirty, not right.
Eventually, when I got out of the shower and got dressed, I made the move to wipe myself off of anywhere where I was going by "MaxCove", not wanting to do NSFW stuff anymore. That meant deleting my Bluesky, deactivating/deleting other accounts, and pending both my FA accounts for deletion. Some of you may know I also blocked anyone and everyone that I met on these platforms. That was a hard decision to do, but I did it at the time to fully commit to going off these platforms and doing something else from now on.

However, after some time has passed, I've now slowly warmed up to the idea of coming back. I aborted the deletion of this account (obviously), and I've unblocked just about everyone that I blocked on Discord. I'm really sorry to anyone that I did block before because it was extremely sudden and out of the blue. If you're willing to talk to me again after what happened, I'd be open to it. Either send me a friend request if I haven't already or send me a note (I'll be guaranteed to see either one). Again, I'm really sorry that I scared y'all like that, I'll try to be better.

As for some final notes, I do have a few. One, I'm most likely not returning to Bluesky. I already deleted my account on there, and I think I'd feel better just uploading to one website. Two, the alt account is staying down at least for the time being, but it will be disabled instead of pending for deletion. Three, my upload schedule will most likely be slower from now on. I think going at this at a slower pace (or just when I feel like it) will make me feel more comfortable. This also means requests, trades, and commissions are closed to anyone except close friends, but I may make gift art every now and then. Four, the comic I was working on is less likely to be continued. If I do continue it, pages aren't gonna be coming out in a super consistent schedule.

And um... yeah, that's about all I have to say. If I ever have another moment from now on where I need to take a break, I'll let you guys know through another journal instead of just disabling my accounts out of the blue. Until then, it feels nice to be back. Again, if you were blocked, feel free to reach out to me if you wanna get back in touch.

Any and all submissions of mine that had the gender set to "herm" have all been updated. The word may still be a keyword in some very old submissions, but the gender part now says "intersex" instead (a couple were changed to "female" or "multiple characters depending on the content). This was done out of respect for anyone who finds the term offensive. I had no derogatory intentions when I was using the term, but I've come to realize now that "intersex" is the much more popular and preferred term, and I will be using that from now on in submissions old and new.
