Well, I've been watching and enjoying the Furry community from a distance for 14 years now (accept for meeting a friend in person a few times and that one time I went to Califur in 2013) Still feels so recent that I discovered the Fandom, only to also discover the hate towards it four days later. That would stop me from enjoying it to the fullest extent. Sometime during February of 2016, efforts to find some way around the negative emotions that blocked my enjoyment were finally abandoned.
While that part of my life didn't go the way I wanted it to, I eventually started using all that negativity as motivation. I've been going back to school and am going to be able to begin my career in biotechnology after this upcoming Fall semester. My long term goal is to do research in the neuroscience field. So thank you to all of those in the Furry Fandom, who have given me a chance to experience a little joy out of this community!

(And thank you to the furry haters, too. Because if not for you people, I wouldn't have the drive to make this world a better place)

I haven't done creative stuff for a while. Haven't drawn since 2005, the last story I posted somewhere was an "X reader" in 2014 or so. I should probably finish that, but I'm not sure. Anyway, I think after seeing one of my favorite artists who does tf audio commissions post new content, I kind of feel inspired to put up some stories again. I've saved a bunch of unfinished stuff that I typed up on my computer, but haven't posted any of it. I'm thinking of doing fanfictions with one original story in mind. Sort of a reboot of something I posted a long time ago on SoFurry. Technically, it was "a furry story" but set in the real world with a group of friends in the fandom try to survive after the vast majority of the population is dead or insane due to a virus. There was also going to be this whole plotline with a private paramilitary group who tries to rebuild civilization.
The fanfiction I've considered isn't furry related. The working title is Hardcore Estelle, my own fan sequal to the film Hardcore Henry. The plot I've thought of so far is that Estelle falls from the helicopter into a river or artificial lake below (I haven't decided yet, some large body of water that could exist in an urban setting) and survives, but is injured and left in a coma due to hitting the water from such a great height, not to mention the bullet that hit her. She gets cybernetics implanted into her by a new corporation that has seized control of Akan's company. The new administration is owned by Jimmy, who acts as CEO through one of his clones. Estelle's use as a test subject is kept hidden from Jimmy by a high-ranking scientist (I've yet to decide on this character's motivations). Long story short, she wakes up and goes on a rampage to find and kill Henry in order to avenge her husband.

I'm also considering doing story commissions if I can figure out how the necessary websites work. Last time I tried something roughly along these lines, I realized I can't even upload a simple YouTube video. Posting the text for stories is basically all I know how to do.
