Now with this new computer came windows 8.. this thing is a headache and a half lol
They obviously wanted to make everything simpler but in doing so makes it feel
more limited. Its gonna take some getting use to =\ How are you guys handling
windows 8 for those of you who have it?

Heading out of town for the holidays to stay with my cutie pie.
I won't be on much but I will borrow my roommates laptop so
I'm not completely unreachable. I will also be taking my sketch
book and try to sketch some of the commissions on my list
so they are ready to be inked and colored by the time I get

Future Commissions - What would you like?

I have a fat list of commissions at the moment but when I do open up for
more in couple weeks, what kind of things would you be interested in?
Do you like simpler works for cheap? Like Chibis, Icons and so on.
Are you more interested in full color, shading and lighting and BG
with one or two characters?
Need Your Input on Adoptables

I know some people like them and some people dont. If you don't care for them
I don't need to know please, I'm looking for input from people who do like them.
So I've looked over the different ways people go about offering adoptables.
Sometimes it's the same creature and pose just with recoloring.
Sometimes its the same pose with different creatures and colors.
Sometimes it's different poses, different creatures and colors.
Sometimes it starts with an egg then gets hatched into something
but you have no idea what until it hatches.
What about crazy colors and designs?
Do they have to be complex to be appealing?
Some of these methods take longer and more effort and thus should
cost more but I assume the point of these is to be cheap art from
your favorite artist. If one sells them for cheap they
don't want to put too much time into them because then
they aren't worth selling. (Think of terms like a parttime job, if
something takes you over an hour to create it should be
worth over min wage right?)
Do most people just want to collect them like pokemon or do
most people actually want to buy one they want to use in
future art/commissions?
I want to do these on the side in between commissions, something
fun with artistic freedom but still make a bit of money. What do
you think is the best way to go about them?

I'm going to be starting a new account here.
Now I know some people don't mind and it annoys the shit out of others
but I don't do this for other people I do it for me =) It's been long enough
it's time for a change and for me as a person, a new name a new gallery
really concretes a fresh start and makes me feel so much better.
I have come back as a full time artist after being away for so long and
struggling even longer before that. Things are FINALLY back in place with
my art and inspiration and so on. I hope you guys understand why I do
this. I'm sorry if you don't agree to my need to change and I'll
understand if you don't wish to watch the new account.
As some of you noticed with my profiles on other sites I have decided
on a new name for myself and a new character to come along with that
name which means I am retiring Blue as my character.
Important things:
-I will not be deleting this gallery.
-I will be posting new art on my new account
-I will continue to offer commissions on this account until my new
one has enough of a following to offer them there.

Wooohh well that was fun! What an awesome week I've had. I've been away from the computer because
I had a out of state friend and my boyfriend staying with me. They, among my other friends, gave me
an amazing bday on the 1st, I got some seriously amazing gifts I wasn't even expecting and then the
following days filled with delicious hot food, games, movies, arts and crafts and chilling. Basically
we treated it like the xmas vacation we most likely won't be having at the end of this month
because we will all be hard at work. Which is what I'm going to be doing right now ^_~

WELL.. Tomorrow will be my bday! Im a old lady ;; 29.. I can't believe Im a year
away from 30. Though everyone Ive told my age to didn't believe it so that's a good
thing to hear. Anyway, I got my best friend Miss Scarlet coming up for a week and my
sweetie is coming up for a few days. So tonight is gonna ROCK.
When I really thought about what I wanted to do for my bday, I honestly just wanted
to play a bunch of nerdy table top board games. My friends Char and Alex have a
bunch so we're just gonna knock those suckers out tomorrow omg it'd be so much
fun, I think well be board-gamed-out for a while after tomorrow!
I donno why Im telling you all this Im just so excited I guess! With winter here
and the cold setting in I've been getting pretty blue, hurhurhur.
ANYWAY Hope you all had a good thanksgiving and blackfriday!

So me currently..
Life: Things are slow but they are going. I've been busy working on my home, at my job and
on my health/body. Been working out and running though lately I pushed myself to far
and hurt my left leg and I think I have a pinched nerve in my right shoulder because it's
numb but ends up spasming a little when I work too hard. Done a lot of spring cleaning
and also recently had to shell out a good handful of money to fix my leaky tub thats been
broken for some time. I'm gonna be trying to get score my boss's car since Dennis got
our Kia Soul (fuck I miss that car) I've been driving moms old honda which needs work.
If I can this car then I can help mom sell the honda and put it towards her insane debt.
Block: Gonna be honest with ya, I'm still broken hearted over my relationship and sometimes
it gets to me so bad I can't do much of anything, then there are days I manage to push it to
the side and get some shit done. It's been a year and I'm still wailing like a baby, when the
fuck am I going to get over him?
Mom: She is doing pretty good, not good enough to go back to her job but still
good. Every week it feels like she doesn't need me as much even though I tell her when
I come over for her to tell me what she needs to do for her (lifting, cleaning, general help)
So this is a good sign she is able to do more on her own but I told her do NOT over do it
and she hasn't so far.
Art: I feel the constant need to be creative even if I can't always get to it and so many ideas
rolling around in my mind with a small outlet is painful but I know I will get back on track
fully at some point. I'm still working out my style and process since it's been changing slowly
over time, it's still bumpy but once I get a better handle on it I feel things will speed up.
